βVet Issy was exceptional - thorough and full of advice. Reception staff v helpfulβ
βVets are good, staff are warm and inviting. Skye gets the treatment that she needs.β
βThe receptionists were very pleasant and welcoming. The waiting room was nice and clean and I felt safe in there. The vet listened to my concerns about my cat and genuinely seemed to care about her. She explained everything to me in a way I could understand. I feel my precious cat is safe in their hands I came away from the surgery feeling much happier than when I arrived there.β
βI take my 1 year old cat to Chantry Vets every 3 months now for weighing and his flea treatment. It is always clean and tidy and the staff couldn't be more helpful and welcoming. My cat seems to like the vet we see (which is more than can be said for other people) and we have seen the same one since he was 14 weeks old. He is very good with him and it amazes me every time that he doesn't hiss or scratch. It is a lovely feeling to know that he is growing and developing as he should and that there are no issues, it gives me peace of mind.β
βI took my German Shepherd Tyke for his booster and check up .He can sometimes be a little skittish at the vets but Suzanne soon put him at ease .She has a very gentle caring approach and is extremely knowledgeable. My dog received a thorough check up and didn't flinch with the vaccination and kennel cough .She is a very friendly and approachable vet who doesn't rush the client and is very thorough .She is a breath of fresh air and a credit to the company The young lady on the reception was also so very helpful and patient when I was filling out my healthy pet club forms I can highly recommend my local vets practice in Wakefieldβ
βWe took our dogs for their boosters yesterday. Receptionist was lovely, so kind and helpful and the vet was just amazing. We usually go to Pontefract but were unable to book an appointment online to decided to try Normanton instead. So glad we did. Highly recommend. Keep up the good work!β
βThe vet was lovely with my cat Benjamin today. He was quick and proficient and even wormed him for me to save me the hassle. I think Benji would have been happy to stay. Highly recommend these vets. Staff are always friendly and polite.β
βThis is a new review August 2025 as we now have an 17 month old Cocker Spaniel who has just experienced his boys operation ,enough said poor lad but once again we must say a big thank you to Tim & the staff who do a wonderful job in this small & friendly practice we were reassured & didnβt worry unfortunately one testicle was undescended all went well & our beautiful boy is back to his normal self ! Tim looked after all our Guinea Pigs over 20 years before we progressed to dogs !, we had eye surgery , ovarian treatment β¦ almost anything a little piggy can have we have always been treated with care and compassion when needed especially with the loss of the small animals when I have sobbed terribly all have gone to rest at Timβs .We then lost our previous Cocker Spaniel at age 2 very sadly due to a blood disorder nothing any Bet could have done to save him but our new boy is now under Timβs care .Thank you all !β
βI highly recommend this pet hospital to everyone. If your pet needs anything, this is the place to go. The vets and staff here are awesome, and Wendy, who gave my cat his vaccine, was super patient and gentle. She always welcomes you with a smile, which makes the whole visit really easy. Iβm really happy with the care we got, and she also gave me some great advice.β
βLovely and friendly. Clean conducive environment. Made welcome by the lovely receptionist.β
βSuch friendly, helpful staff. Looked after my dog and myself so wonderfully when he needed surgery last week. Our dog is incredibly nervous & everyone understood and appreciated that and tailored their management of his case to take this into account.β
βStayed for just one night to visit a family function. Hosts were marvelous, peaceful location, 2 good size bedrooms one with a shower room. One with a bathroom. Beautiful, immaculate. Would 100% recommend it.β
