“Clean and spacious apartments just 5 mins drive from Headingley and Leeds city centre. Stayed with a group of mates for a festival, the apartments were ideal and staff at reception were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!”

“The rooms here are so clean and the beds are amazingly comfortable. In this heat we were happy to see they had a fan in the room. Good shower, TV, everything you need. We asked to have a room away from everyone else because some hotels can be so noisy with people coming in and out their rooms. But here it was completely silent. The staff are also really nice making sure you have everything you need on check in, very accomodating and also making sure we enjoyed our stay when checking out. I think if you have a car it would be good for being a little out of the way of the city centre. There's not much around the hotel but there is a Toby carvery next door, a petrol station and an Asda within walking distance. All in all it was great and exactly what we needed.”

“The hostess Marion was very friendly and extremely motivated to ensure that her guests receive the best possible service. Nothing is too much trouble for her. The room was immaculate and very well proportioned with an excellent shower. The location is perfect, not too far from the town but right at the edge of the countryside and only a short drive to Haworth and Brontë country. The breakfast by the way was freshly cooked to order with massive portions of a delicious full English.”

“Good location!!!Hotel in the heart of the city centre!!! Parking though was about 8-10 away from hotel ( market st)but quite reasonably priced considering the time spent and discounted ( 2 nights). Breakfast was very good with vegan sausages,scrambled eggs,beans etc etc. Room was adequate enough even though I ended up with a two single beds accommodation!!! Shower lovely and hot-great!!! Front desk and staff at the hotel very very welcoming especially manager( Denise) ,I think that was her name and male sidekick !!! All and all a good stay and will be returning again!!!! “Garden Centre was quite busy the drink was not bad will come back for breakfast as you see on the photograph there is quite a few areas empty but it's winter and they haven't got stuff ready”

“I don’t understand how this hotel has such a low rating. I’ve stayed in hotels all over England for business travel and this is one of the best ones I’ve ever stayed in. It feels more like a four star and it cost £69 for a double! The rooms are spacious, with good desk space and a sofa. The bathrooms are clean and the shower is good. The lobby is huge with chesterfield style leather sofas everywhere. The bar/restaurant has a decent selection. The staff were friendly. I stayed here because my flight was cancelled, but if that happens again, this is where I’m staying.”

“We were a little skeptical booking here but we were definitely pleasantly surprised! We found our room was big and clean, with nice smelling towels, and a decent enough en-suite. The breakfast for an extra £3 was well worth it and it was made fresh as we came down. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help! It was everything you could want in a B&B. If we ever find ourselves back in Leeds we'd definitely stay here again!”

“My mum.and dad and aunty stayed here recently they absolutely loved it, the breakfast was amazing,Pauline is so friendly and accommodating, it's clean, and close to town centre, the only concern is not having a handrail on stairs from one if the bedrooms and they are very steep stairs.”

“Everything about this little converted horsebox is fabulous! The coffee is amazing, it’s so clear from the off that Vinnie loves his coffee and knows what he’s doing on that front. The range of coffees (espresso machine based, aeropress, filter) teas and other hot drinks for such a small outlet is really impressive. The hot chocolate with toasted marshmallows is a real treat on a cold winter’s afternoon! They always have a good range of baked goods and interesting cold drinks too. Vinnie, the owner, is super friendly and always happy to make recommendations if you’re not sure. A walk along the river isn’t complete without a visit!”

“We visited Rockello Castleford and we were blown away by how amazing everything was! We ordered the Rockello Breakfast, two Vegetarian Breakfasts, and the Brisket Croque — every single dish was packed with flavour and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into the food. To finish, we couldn’t resist the Nutella Fluff for dessert — and wow, what a treat! Sweet, indulgent, and the perfect end to a fantastic meal. There are plenty of options for all dietary needs, which is great to see. The service from start to finish was outstanding — the staff were so attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. We felt really well looked after. We’ll definitely be returning soon to try more from the menu!”

“Excellent choice of cakes, pastries and drinks with a nice setting and friendly, accommodating and welcoming staff. Consideration was given when we were ordering to mention what had alcohol and what didn't and also going to check to make sure if they weren't 100%. One of the drinks we ordered had marshmallows with gelatin in but we only found out after ordering and even though just taking them out ourselves was fine for me, they offered to make a fresh drink. 10/10 on all fronts.”

“We tried about 5 other places, either grumpy staff who didn't care or coffee that was undrinkable. What a fantastic surprise to find a great atmosphere and the best coffee, (whoever makes it - visited again yesterday) . I will make sure this is the only place I go to in Leeds when I visit in the future. Thank you”
