The meat is top quality and the lady’s that run the cart are so lovely and accommodating. I’ll be a loyal customer for life now! I 100% would recommend this place!”

“See the update at the end of this original review. We have been coming here since the very beginning. It started with a kiosk while the cafe was being finished. We were extremely impressed by the fabulous coffee and brilliant staff. When Caffe Valeria was opened we knew we had found “our” place! We visit often, both as a couple and some times with friends. The coffee is and the choice of cakes and pastries is excellent. The staff are always smiling and making us feel welcome. All the staff are helpful and kind. We must mention George, Liv and Olly as going above and beyond to make us feel special. Please don’t change a thing. Helen and David Update, George, Liv and Ollie (the stars of Valeria’s) have all left taking its heart with them. We no longer go there. Staff could be better trained, owner unpleasant. We feel we have lost something very special.”

“What a lovely independent coffee shop. Lovely friendly staff, who were so cheerful and warm. Coffee was excellent. Cheese and Ham Toastie was superb, generous with the ingredients. Cakes looked amazing. The place was really busy, while the chain coffee shop next door was empty! Spotless toilets! Outside seating too. Right next to the Cathedral.”

The 5* goes to the impressive breadth of activities, age appropriate slots, entrance deals and food options for the kids. Prices are excellent, very affordable by comparison to most other local play gyms. Visiting this week, so will update!”

“Only had cake, coffee and toasted currant tea cake, I can't comment on their other food. However what we had was lovely and the coffee is great, always our first choice for coffee in the area. The staff are lovely and service great, what more can you want.”

“The best breakfast I've had in an age, bar none. A pleasant, clean and welcoming place, well lit and comfortably furnished. The staff were welcoming and tolerant of our prevaricating over what to have for breakfast. We all chose brunch options - eggs benedict; sourdough with avocado; and, sourdough with beetroot; plus a side of pancakes! I had the beetroot dish - Whipped Feta & Beets. Toasted sourdough with chilled pickled beets and a poached egg was an unexpected winner - the warmth of the bread with the flavour and chill of the beets, combined with the whipped feta, were a sensation. Sense of taste, texture and temperature running riot in my mouth with every bite. I had a large black Americano to wash it down - a flavoursome coffee - and felt genuine disappointment as I savoured the final mouthful of beets and bread, Great breakfast venue, thoroughly recommended.”

“A brilliant spot in Elland for breakfast, lunch, or just coffee and cake. We popped in on the off chance without booking a table, as we needed a lunch break after moving into the area. They managed to accomodate the six of us with no issues and the server was great. The flat white was a beautiful roast, really smooth and well made, and the hot chocolates were rich and delicious. We had the pancake stack, eggs, and festive sanwiches all cooked perfectly and full of flavour!! It was great quality of food and drinks in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Friendly service too — we’ll definitely be back soon. I already have my eye on several items on the menu. - I keep popping by for a takeaway flat white when i am passing, the coffee roast is unreal, best ive had.”

“Very friendly place altogether. Dogs welcome and made a fuss of by staff and other customers. Service was prompt and food good at that price. The place was clean, staff smart for the establishment and although decor and furnishings were a bit dated, they fitted the overall ambience of the place.”

“It's such a lovely place! You don't feel pressured to be in and out by a certain time. It is so spacious and safe for the babies. Beautiful sensory and play room for younger babies! It's such a beautiful place. I will definitely be attending again. In the bathroom they have spare nappies which is so helpful for the mamas who have run out. I cant fault it x”

“Absolutely amazing service! My girl bought bubble tea for the first time. She wasn’t sure if she would like the topping, as she’s quite fussy about some food textures. She had strawberry, but she couldn’t eat it at all. We asked to have it removed, and the gentleman did it without any problem. Absolutely recommended!”

“I went in today for a bacon & sausage sandwich, the cheapest price I’ve seen in a while & by far the best. The sandwich is made directly in front of you & they are cooked to perfection. I will certainly be back at some point for the breakfast.”

“Great lunch today delivered whilst I work from home, proper coffee, crisps and hot panini. The meal deal is great value also. If you live in Castleford you should definitely consider visiting or getting a delivery from here. Also got a couple of cheesecakes for later which look amazing.”

“Moved local to BEANS not long ago I gave beans a go and haven't stopped ordering since I order at least 5 out of 7 mornings a week Deliveries every morning nice, fast and professionally. I did have just 1 problem out of the 100s of deliveries I have had and it was resolved in no time. Recieved a polite private message with an apology from the owner. Best service, food and staff in the area”

“What a beautiful place They Just refurb the place and it was back open last Saturday … i was there with my Famly And shisha food and service was on point There were very friendly and service was second to non I just have seen few negative reviews but it’s funny this place was closed for 5 weeks for major refurb How these people went there for shisha Jealousy on the peak ….. ganduiooo where u went for a shisha And they dnt do alcohol Omg Why people are full of Sh……..t”

“I've been in twice in a row. What a lovely place it is! Lovely food and super nice staff! Will be my go to cafe now when I'm in town. I really appreciate the fact that it has proper salt and pepper grinders! Ihad scrambled egg first time, beautiful! Then a tuna salad sandwich the next day. All great quality ingedients. Just lovely!”

“The food is amazing, home cooked, very tasty. My son fancied something different so had waffles, the presentation was increadable. He thoroughly enjoyed them. I had steak sandwich with home cooked chips. Very nice indeed. Highly recommend, well worth a visit. You may have to wait for a table however it is worth the wait. Staff are very welcoming. From the moment we walked in, Adnan noticed my grandmother was having difficulty moving around and immediately offered his assistance. “The best Greek food in Hyde Park that is very reasonably priced for what you get! Large portions of tasty food every time I go. Good location to Hyde Park itself and staff are always friendly and attentive. Nice decor inside as well. Definitely recommend!”
