“I went to screwfix as an ignoramus. I measured everything, had taken photos and had some idea what I wanted. The guys at Screwfix, Monks Cross were superb! They didn't treat me like an eejit, they were very respectful, knowledgeable and honestly, could not have done any more for me. They showed endless patience and solved all bar one of my problems. The one unsolved problem, they gave me suggestions on where to go for the part I need. I was really worried about going into a place like this, knowing what I wanted but not knowing how to ask for it and looking a complete idiot. I won't have those worries again, thanks to the guys at Monks Cross Screwfix, one of which was Tom, didn't get the other guy's name, but he had a grey beard. I will from now on, continue to go to Screw fix every time I need some, safe in the knowledge I am likely to get exactly what I need, with expert advice, all at a reasonable price. Faultless Screwfix, thank you again for your patience, expertise, understanding and professionalism, very impressive.”

“What a fantastic place for children who love Lego. We visited today and attended the Wizarding Event. Arrived at 10am and it finished at 3:30pm we had a whole day of Lego fun and bath bomb making! I was a bit dubious when we arrived at the location but be deceived when it’s a Lego builders dream inside! The time and effort they put into interacting with the children was fantastic! “Stayed in a fully furnished one bedroom, one bath apartment that was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary pots, pans, dishes, glassware, even basic spices and cooking oil, coffee and tea, detergent tabs for the dishwasher mixing bowls, etc. The staff working there are genuinely interested in making their guests’ experiences good, and take pride in their work - it showed in the daily interactions not only with me, but with what I witnessed. Parking to unload bags required a bit of creativity, but the location is honestly so conveniently located, and parking is easily walkable, so that totally made up for it. Highly recommend Harrogate Lifestyle Luxury Serviced Apartments!”

“Attended on Bank Holiday Monday April 2025, service was excellent, the menu choice is amazing, there is something for everybody, I went for the Burger of which there are multiple choices, mine was a freshly made burger accompanied with Pulled pork, lovely side salad and amazing chips. It is refreshing to eat a burger that is freshly made and cooked to order (medium rare in my case) All reasonably priced and the fresh cooked food and fine service means I shall be definitely returning. As an aside all the party I was with (7 in total) had same views. Cracking place and would recommend, you will not be disappointed.”

Great cozy quiet atmosphere especially if you are working or studying. Nice friendly staff and always welcoming you with a smile. Well it's excellent and now my favourite place to go. Really, really delicious coffee in a nice thick blue mug. The kind of coffee that has that collar of creamy froth on top. Good sofas, happy staff and a Christmas Tree!!!! You can get crumpets, toasted teacakes, bacon or sausage butties and lunch stuff too. A real hidden gem.”
