βWent there for some touch up paint for the car. These guys were great, they could not have been more helpful and they were extremely knowledgeable. Could not recommend highly enough.β
βStep through the door of the BrontΓ« Parsonage Museum and you step back theough history. You don't have to be a fan of the BrontΓ« Sisters to appreciate this excellent museum which is packed with furniture and items belonging to the BrontΓ« family in a faithful recreation of their home. After a short wait in the pleasant surroundings of the garden we were ushered in and allowed to take in the surroundings at our own pace, taking in as little or as much as we chose through information boards, our own guidebook and a series of QR codes which add to the experience. After visiting the main rooms we spent some time in the exhibition that was full of interesting information and more artifacts before descending to the shop. The shop is full of great gifts and souvenirs and if you purchase books the staff will stamp them to show that they were purchased at the museum. Parking is conveniently located a few metres away from the museum at Β£1.50 an hour payable by cash, card or via the RingGo app but if that car park is full there is another pay and display car park nearby. The toilet facilities at the museum are impressive, very clean and well-maintained. There were a lot of staff on-site who were all very friendly and happy to talk and answer questions. As we visited in the middle of August the museum was busy and as space is at a premium it wasn't always the most comfortable of experiences but when we were returning to the car later on there wasn't even a queue so there are probably quieter times to visit! This museum is a must-see if you are in the area. In addition, the church that houses the BrontΓ« crypt is the other side of the garden wall and the village itself is very picturesque.β
βMy go-to independent cafe in Leeds. We got the sweet and savoury pancakes which were both delish. Highly recommend this place, the manager/owner is always lovely and a laugh.β
βThis museum is fantastic. Downstairs they've built a Victorian street with shops you can wander around, with so many little details to see. There's a dress up shop, too! Upstairs, there are several galleries with old toys and even old game machines that you can play with old pennies, so bring some coins to exchange! Lots of fun, so much hands on stuff, several play areas for children, overall a brilliant museum well worth the small entry price.β
βFast friendly service, managed to get a table even in prime time. The food was very tasty. Really pleased to have discovered this local brunch place, we all really enjoyed!β
βHome from home and will be back! Lovely, friendly, helpful, genuine staff that work hard and are a credit to The Minster. Rooms clean and more than sufficient. Very happy with the bed and had an excellent sleep! Breakfast plentiful with prompt and friendly service. The location is a 10 min walk from train station and 5 min walk to the Shambles. Loved it!β
βMy husband and I just had the most delicious Sunday lunch at The White Swan. The service, food and atmosphere were all 10/10. The staff are so friendly.and welcoming. Fabulous finish to our week's holiday.β
βFriendly and helpful, carries good range of paint and diy bits, Ben the owner, is particularly knowledgeable and will always order bits for you if they dont have themβ
βThe staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. All the equipment given was high quality and the prices for even a full band are fair and you definitely get value for your money. Great music studio.β
βAmazing service and care. I contacted them through Facebook Marketplace for 10sq mts of large reclaimed slate tiles i wanted to use for my bathroom flooring and walk-in shower. Adel has been great: always prompt in communications, sending me photos of different types of tiles they had when i asked about the colour of the slate. They also provided a delivery service and arrived with the best slate tiles (as I had told Adel i needed them for the bathroom) and brought a couple more with them just in case any of the others would break or had problems. I canβt recommend them enough.β
βThe only problem I have noticed with this pizza shop is that it's too busy for its size. They really need to expand. Most of the times staff have hardly any space to move around. In my 7 years buying food from here I have never once had an issue. I know few people have complains but I blame it on the shop being small. If more space I think everyone would be happy. Siciliano always try thier best to look after everyone. Always smile. polite and welcoming. I have noticed that many many times and it's lovely to see shops still care. Nearly all shops in Wakefield now days you go in They don't even say hello to you. I will update my opinion if anything changes so far I am happy.β
βI stayed at the Halfway House B&B while working in Leeds, its a lovely pub with great ales, friendly welcoming staff and locals alike. The girl behind the bar even recommended places to get an evening meal. The bar itself was very clean and decorated nicely with large tv screens, pool table and darts board. The room I stayed in was what seemed to be in a converted house joined onto the pub. The room was very modern, spotlessly clean with comfortable furnishings and bed. The following morning I had a lovely cooked breakfast (i had veggie option but there was a great choice to suit all) with toast, Juice and tea, served in the bar area of the pub by a friendly lady who couldn't do enough for you. I would definitely stay there again next time I'm working up there.β

βNice bar this, serving a great selection of cask and keg ales, pies from the maestro that is Gordon at Le Gourmet in Brighouse, always a good pint and really friendly staff with a warm welcome, dog friendly pub, great prices and loads of seating, whats not to love? A must if in the area, highly recommend.β
βWe love coming here as a family, and it never disappoints! Jonny the chef is fantastic β he always makes a point to chat with my little boy about pizza making, which really adds a personal touch. The food is amazing, and the service is top-notch, making us feel right at home. Clean, lively atmosphere and great value for everything we ordered. Can't wait to return!β
βI know the chef at this restaurant and his cooking is superb! Food is excellent and the hospitality is like no other restaurant I've been too. I highly recommend for anyone local, new comers, or those that are passing by to stop by and grab a bite at this cute little spot :)β
βSurprised with joy. After a drive through the beautiful countryside my wife and I stopped here for a drink. Warmly welcomed we took a gander at the menu and decided to order food as well. We were not disappointed. The star of the starter menu is the Fish Cocktail, ample in size and great quality. You might want to just order this as a mains! Portions are excellent. I decided on the Steak and Ale Pie. Good choice, not one of those mince and gravy jobs. This was full of braised steak, tasty pastry and solid chips. Just love the red cabbage side. Jack Daniels Chicken also a good choice. The staff were very friendly from the getgo. Happy to chat and definitely interested in checking everything was ok. Parking ample, including disabled parking. Glad to recommend this venue as a place worth stopping at for food, especially if you are hungry. We'll definitely be returning.β
βExcellent food, generous portions and very tasty!!β

βLovely food, friendly staff and good atmosphere.β
βWe live in Keighley and regularly visit an old friend in Cottingley. When we do, we usually visit Beckside fisheries. The quality is better than any Keighley fisheries, amazing as the price is much lower, so we only usually get chippies at Beckside. Also, he does gluten-free fish and chips which I needed for a short time. We are pensioners and one lot of Beckside chips is enough. We get two fish and one portion of chips for Β£11.80. Today we investigated a new fisheries just opened near us and the same order cost Β£16.35. The fish were perhaps as good as Beckside for nearly Β£5 more, but about half as many chips. Back to Beckside for us!β
βExcellent, bought some self adhesive gravel, great price, delivered within the week and the drivers put it where I wanted it, even though it was a bit of a pain, they showed great skills in dropping the gravel over a fence, I would definitely use again.β
βFor a local hardware store they have so much in stock, even items i didn't expect. Always support your local shops first and keep them open. Thanks for being there guys, 5 star service .β
βAmazing community asset providing much needed support to the local peopleβ
