Not only is it just THE most beautiful venue (our guests couldn't get over it!) but Sam and the team are just beyond words. They were there to help at every stage, suggesting suppliers and giving general advice on top of helping with more venue-specific things. They did all the set-up, all the take-down, they were so accommodating to every request, and so friendly and welcoming at every point in the planning process. We didn't have to worry about a single thing on the day because we just knew, and could fully trust the team to take care of everything. Everyone we've spoken to and every member of staff we've dealt with has been a delight and so happy to help, we genuinely don't have a single spot of negative feedback. It also feels so special that Left Bank isn't just a wedding venue, so we can return as much as we like for drinks or events and re-live our day. Thank you to the entire team (and especially Sam) for making our day a reality. You're all the absolute best!”

“Took the kids for their first camping experience and fair to say we will be going again. My 5 year old loved seeing the bikes and everyone is so polite and friendly. We had food and absolutely loved every bite, the portion sizes are well worth the money. Toilets and showers cleaned regular. Easy access to water if needed. Beautiful place and fantastic people. “Absolutely fantastic little cafe right behind York Minster. It has about 3 tables (for two) inside the cafe but quite a good number of tables outside. We had coffee and cake, which were both excellent! Can totally recommend!”

The place could possibly do with a little re-decoration but it is a cafe and everything looks clean so I shouldn't complain about the decor as I don't eat my food off the walls! “Visited Sandal Castle, mid-July, after discovering it on Google. I was so happy to see there was a café too. We, 3 of us, arrived just as the café was about to close 14:30, the café staff went out of their way to cook me a delicious bacon and sausage roll, my son had 3 cheese roll with chips. We also had 3 home made rock cakes / scones, coffee and cold drinks. I can’t wait for another warm day to return. Carpark is free too.”

Lived in meanwood 2years and tried other breakfast. the quality if the food and attention to the little things "seperate pot for beans instead of lobbing it into the takeaway box" - amazing, what a great cafe! 5 stars!”
