“Location - magical. I had to hold my breath coming through to the farm. Good job it’s not that long a journey off the main road, really. Rooms - I stayed in a single room no 1, en-suite. Don’t like single rooms normally, but this is a huge exception. Cozy, comfortable, I had all the things I needed and a comfy window seat looking out at more, erm, magic. See location. I could swear there were lanterns and pixies at night out there Service - Paula is a saint. I’ve thrown every odd request in the book at her. Arrived late, forgot my room keys, some dastardly, unreasonable breakfast request. No problem. Other stuff - there is wicked circular run out of the door with some stunning views. - the outdoor seating is fab, and there is a bbq - I was here for work in Ilkley but would happily come back for leisure - easy to get to Skipton or Ilkley or Bradford”

“We cannot recommend this B&B enough. Simon's porridge and full English breakfasts were wonderful, with homemade bread readily available. Our room room was clean and beyond comfortable. To name a few amenities, there were heated towel racks, robes, and locally-made, excellent mattresses. Both host and hostess went above and beyond to help us navigate a few unexpected circumstances by connecting us with local resources. We will be returning if we can!!!”

“Beautiful property. Immaculately clean. Everything you need and more. Even hairdryers and straigteners in each bedroom. Great location, walk into the centre or hop on the bus. Delightful stay.”

“Excellent place to stay for quiet and to be honest it's why we went. The carriage has everything needed for a comfy and pleasant stay and the owners are very friendly and welcoming. Skipwith common was excellent for the dog. Loved the place and will return. It should go without saying but you will need a car if you intend on going to towns and villages. Can't speak highly enough of Skipwith Station, book it.”

“Our family had a wonderful stay at East Bay Cottage. The house was immaculately clean and tidy and a real home from home. Everything was there that we would have needed. Lovely walk to the beach and along into Filey. We drank in the John Paul Jones a couple of times, which was pleasant. We celebrated my Birthday on our weekend stay, which was lovely to have all my family accommodated. Thank you Anchor Bay Holidays.”

“We stayed at Ascot House for a few days last week. This is our 3rd visit to York, and our 3rd time staying here. As always it was a pleasure. June , the proprietor is so lovely, as are all the staff. The room was very spacious, comfortable bed , fabulous bathroom. It is in a great location, a short stroll into town. “We had a fabulous time in 1 Turks Head Court for our daughter's wedding. It was a real home from home. There was room for a dinner party and a tea party, and everyone loved the house. All our needs were met in moments from the many independent shops within 2 minutes walk. The Minster bells were ringing as we got ready for the ceremony which was lovely. Thanks to Diana and her team for helping to make our special day really special!”

“It was a beautiful place in a beautiful location. Perfect for a wedding we were going to at the old barn. Val and Gerry made sure we were welcomed and well looked after. Lots of advice and tips for where to go for food and walks in the area. The room was HUGE and very comfortable, had all the amenities we needed, the views were stunning too. Great choice for breakfast and lovely relaxed atmosphere. Just wish we could have stayed longer to make more of this beautiful place. Thanks so much for looking after us! Sophie and Dave x”

“Absolutely love this place. One of my favorite places to stay in the world. Rooms are clean, neat, and contemporary and they left me a lovely basket of food in the room. I really liked the treehouse feel of the rooms on the upper levels.”

“Love living at the Headline. There are very nice communal areas and also fun events they put on for the residents (coaster making workshop, macrame workshop, summer and xmas parties, etc). Amazing and friendly staff too - Corinne, Coren, Joe and George. They are always willing to help and make you feel safe and comfortable living there.”

“We booked this in advanced as no bookings on gate, so happy we did, it was fantastic! We had 2 adults and 1, 11 year old with us, and couldn't recommend enough!! We turned up at 09:45 and stayed until 1400, the Q lake was super clean and facilities - shower, toilets and changing rooms all well kept too. We stopped off at the cafe on our way back to the car and had pizza and chips - delicious!!! Food was fresh and tasted yummy! Next time we visit we will most likely camp over as well to make a weekend of it. We will be back!!! Thanks for a great experience Pool Bridge Farm.”

“Visited the hotel today for afternoon tea and it was simply lovely. The young man who met us at the front door was friendly and helpfully took us through to the dining area. The waitress who served us was amazing -friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. And the food was just gorgeous! 2 hours spent relaxing in a beautiful setting, drinking prosecco and eating beautiful food- a really great way to spend a Friday afternoon. Thank you.”

“Just back home from a 2 night stay and it was fantastic. The rooms are modern, well thought out and clean. We ate in the pub on both nights, the food was very tasty and great value and the breakfasts were huge. The crowning glory however was the staff, attentive, friendly and helpful especially the Landlord. The bar was lively on both evenings as the sun was shining, everyone we met was very friendly. We will be back.”

“My sister and I really enjoyed our one night stay at the Hedley House Hotel. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful with directions around York and to the Barbican (where we were attending a concert). The hotel was very comfortable, clean and tidy. Our twin room was lovely. And it was only a short walk to the train station which we discovered on our way back (a shortcut shown to us by one of Hedley House team!). We would highly recommend this hotel.”

“Whats not to like , great value for money, considering its the same price as the Premier inn, yet we got loverly views, car parking, a spa and 10 min bus ride into york. Bus stop right by the hotel. Staff were all great, room was fantastic, grounds were loverly. We onlt had the breakfast but everything fresh and tasty.”

“Stayed in a fully furnished one bedroom, one bath apartment that was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary pots, pans, dishes, glassware, even basic spices and cooking oil, coffee and tea, detergent tabs for the dishwasher mixing bowls, etc. The staff working there are genuinely interested in making their guests’ experiences good, and take pride in their work - it showed in the daily interactions not only with me, but with what I witnessed. Parking to unload bags required a bit of creativity, but the location is honestly so conveniently located, and parking is easily walkable, so that totally made up for it. Highly recommend Harrogate Lifestyle Luxury Serviced Apartments!”
