Delicious dining in Leicester

“was in the area looking for something to eat and stumbled across phat buns so I thought I’d give it a try, to my surprise the food was amazing! I ordered the Nashville loaded fries and a burger and both were delicious! Staff were super friendly and were quick with my order and the guy with the baseball hat and the puffer jacket was really helpful too! Would deffo recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for good food.”

“Ordered through Just Eat and we were not disappointed. Delivery time was before expected and the food was hot and delicious. We will certainly be ordering again. “We collected freshly made Samosa 45 in total and 4 Large pizza for our Exercise group for Xmas Lunch , Samosa & Pizza both were freshly made and every one loved the food . Gentlemen called Price looked after us . Food was made on time and they even open the hut early to cook and supply the food on time . It was made ready with care with samosa , chutney and plates ready in box , and pumping hot pizza and drinks . Great service by Prince and tram . Well done and keep up the good work . “Every time that I have come here I have enjoyed it and so have family and friends. Service was good with no complaints, staff are very friendly. The location is pretty local to us so that is great, so if you are driving to the restaurant it isn't easy to find parking. There is a paid car park next to Victoria Park nearby.”

But this time under new management we had onion bajhi starter and mixed kebab starter, prior to that, the pickle tray n poppadoms, omg the red coconut one yummy. For main I had keema rice, Malsyan chicken curry and peshawari naan, my partner had keema naan chips n chicken tikka madras. We'd heard it was open but for takeaway only, so we ordered, then half hour later my mate came in said ooh no their doing dine in now, so re rang changed the order to dine in. Defo come back as the service was amazing. Welcome back GR. Xxxx A couple of months down the line thought yey let's go for a curry. This time very disappointed. Only coke zero or diet coke, a big no no we do normal coke. Had the usual pickle tray n poppadoms the red dry stuff, coconut I think was a no no, were as before it was yummy. The starter I had was a chana puri, omg I couldn't eat it, it was way too salty. Having recently had Indian elsewhere and experienced saltiness I wasn't prepared to wait for my meal fearing that too was salty and I'd waste my money, so we paid up and very frustrated, left. Get your act together guys. We don't like salt.”

“Went last night for my sons birthday, 6 adults and 2 children and had the most wonderful time. The service was excellent, all food was delicious, piping hot and all came at the same time. Everybody commented that one of the nicest curries they'd ever had. The children's chicken nuggets meals were presented lovely. There is also a good selection of beers and wines, all very nice. I would say that if you don't give Dipali a try you are definitely missing out. Can't wait to go back.”

“A first time visit.. loved it! We came here on a whim. No recommendations, we simply noclticed the beautiful authentic restaurant from the carpark and said, we have to try it. Beautiful clean and tidy restaurant, detail is aimed to perfection here. The staff are warm and friendly. Helpful and hospitable. We ordered starters, the soft shell crab was a delicacy. The food was flawless. Extreme attention to detail in the effort had been put into every dish served. I had Singapore noodles, spicy! Highly recommended. The toilets were clean and tidy.. we will be returning. I couldn't fault this place if I tried, it is made up of character and love. A pleasure to say the least.”

“The food was delicious and reasonably prices. The staff were very friendly and the order arrived hot and as expected. We were a party of 20 and were all impressed with the level of service. We have been to other places in Leicester, Coventry, Birmingham, London and Bradford and consider this place to be the best tastiest food. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely go there again.”
