“Delicious food and quick service. The biryani was perfectly cooked, and the desserts were fantastic.”
“Absolutely great service! The food portions are generous, they gave us free bread and sauce and a refill even before we ordered anything! The staff were very nice and helpful. The food was very delicious the meat and chicken were cooked perfectly. After we were done we were given complimentary tea and desert. The facilities are really good, there is a prayer room and toilets which are very clean and they even have free sanitary products for women! Absolutely great experience and would 100% visit again,”
“Uyghur food is seriously underrated and was to surprised to find one of the few Uyghur restaurants to be in Leicester. For starters we ordered the Lamb Skewers, Steamed and Fried Beef Dumplings, Karamay Chips, and the best out of all of them the Beef Uyghur Samsa, super meaty and satisfying pie. Mains were amazing, noodles were super chewy, satisfying, and slurpy. If you love spicy food the "volcano noodles" and "signature fried noodles", otherwise the sweet and sour chicken with the egg fried rice is a solid choice. Service and value (you can easily get a starter and main for under £20) was amazing and portion sizes were definitely not stingy, definitely looking forward to visiting again!”
“Newly re-opened and serving delicious food with fabulous service. The perfect pub after your walk at Bradgate Park.”
“I tend to be a little boring when ordering an Indian takeaway, Chicken Tikka Masala is my go-to dish. I'd say that it was one of the best, if not 'the best' I've ever had. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes.”
“we came here for dinner last night - lovely food and lovely atmosphere. the staff were very friendly and helpful!”
“Love the vibes and food here. Went on a Wednesday evening which wasn't that busy. Had two burgers, a chick-a-boo and OG classic. Had to have the peanut butter milkshake and added on a portion of buffalo wings. Burgers were tasty as usual and the portion size was good. The floor was a little greasy leading towards the toilets but had an otherwise nice ambience and deco.”
“Here is a review for Mithaas Restaurant in Leicester: "Mithaas is a fantastic spot for authentic Indian vegetarian food! The Masala Dosa is huge, crispy, and incredibly filling, while the Samosa Chaat hits the perfect balance of spicy and tangy. It has a relaxed, canteen-style vibe that makes it great for a casual meal with family. Don't leave without visiting the sweets counter—the fresh Jalebis and Barfi are the perfect way to end the meal!" Would you like me to mention a specific dish you loved (like the Indo-Chinese or Thali) or adjust the length for a specific platform?”
“We used HKT for the first time this weekend, as our "usual" was closed. What a find! We screwed up our payment online and chanced a quick call before opening times. It was answered and all was sorted out. Food was ordered for 5.30pm. It arrived at 5.30pm. Delivered piping hot and looked superb. It was obviously freshly prepared with some of the best tasting ingredients I've ever had from a takeaway. Sure, it wasn't cheap but we've enough for two dinners. I'm so looking forward to eating it again tomorrow. Well done HKT. You're doing it right and we shall be using you for our "special treat" dinners in the future.”
“Ratby Chippy & Pizza is one of those places you can always rely on for a great meal. The food is fresh, tasty, and cooked just right every time. The chips are perfectly crispy, the fish is flaky, and their pizzas are full of flavour with a great base. The staff are friendly, efficient, and make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in.try it out.”
“Lovely setting, sitting outside in the warm sun overlooking the water. A nice and easy relaxed atmosphere. Had to wait a while for my coffee to arrive, but otherwise highly recommend a visit.”
“We recently hosted a children’s charity walk in Leicester, and this kind hearted restaurant donated a whole pot of lamb biryani towards this event! Not only was this very kind of them, but the biryani was very very tasty! We had guest as far as London, Manchester and Luton attend and they were hungry so this biryani SERVED! Thank you! I couldn’t take a picture of the pot but a picture from my own container mid eating, Had to capture a memory of this!”
“I have had a take away from here before and it was good so decided to come here on a Friday night, rang up and booked table with no wait so good and lady on phone was nice. The place itself inside is clean nice with fire plave on the TVs, the only thing I would change is that it was a tad too bright inside for a late night meal. Food itself was absolutely amazing and came out reasonable quick and the service was good. This place is now my favourite place for Indian food and we were able to doggy bag left overs which I had the following day A++ on the food.”
“Had an amazing experience at this restaurant! Tried the Porotta-Beef Curry and Poori-Masala, and both were absolutely delicious— authentic & flavourful. The porotta was soft and flaky, just like you’d get in Kerala, and the beef curry was rich and full of spices. The service was also great—friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. It truly felt like I was enjoying a meal back in Kerala. Will definitely be coming back.”
“Great takeaway, the food is really good, well made and you have many optis to choose from, never dissapoints . Can't think of better Chinese takeaway food in Leicester. Also they are alway busy when I come in, both with calls and walk ins, which is always a good sign, because it means they are pplar for a rason.”
“Finally found the place for Chinese in Leicester. Moving from Liverpool I have been trialing chineses for the past year and I have finally found the best takeaway spot! The food is 10/10. Everything was hot & fresh and it tasted just like Chinese unlike all these other takeaways. Will definitely be a regular here. Thank you so much for the extra prawn crackers too!!”
“Best Chinese in shilton in my opinion, just need to do seaweed. Need to give proper timescales though as can be annoying when they say 20 mins but take 40.”
“Lovely little place with good food and friendly staff. The choice of sauces, protein, and extras are excellent. Pictured are nano Buddha and Samurai smoked tofu bowls, with additional kimchi - delicious and generous portions for the smaller option! Have previously tried the other sauces options too which are also great. Service is very quick too.”
“This is our local but we rarely went in before the reopening, we went in on Saturday as a family of four (2 kids under 7) to check out our new local. We wanted to order food but hadn't booked, the restaurant was full but the staff let us order from the bar area. All the staff were so lovely and accommodating and great with the kids. The food was really lovely, we had the goat curry (which was slow cooked and so tender) and chicken tikka masala with sides and the kids had chicken nuggets and fish fingers with chips which they really enjoyed. The atmosphere was lovely, and the drinks were great- a good variety. It did get quite noisy when the match was on, but this is a sports pub so be aware of that. All in all we really enjoyed it and will definitely be back.”
“A really lovely pub and beer garden with a children's slide / climbing frame and a bouncy castle. Lovely wide selection of drinks. ,”
“Over charged me for a 2 pints, £8.90 turned into £89.00, I didn't realise until later and drove back, Mark and his son checked the records and couldn't apologise enough and refunded me and gave me a couple of free drinks. Honestly brilliant service!!”
“A really good friendly pub, great staff always willing to help children welcome to.”
“This is our first visit and we truly enjoyed it! The location is perfect and there are paid parking lanes just outside the pub. Lovely interior and well organised areas to sit for a drink or eat food. On this visit we stayed inside but there's a lovely garden with heated huts! We ordered two chicken burgers that were juicy and a tasty chicken Caesar salad. Every Sunday they serve roasts, amongst regular meals, and children below 12 eat free. This is a lovely gesture and I applaud them for giving back to the local community.”
“Stayed here a couple years ago and everytime I'm coming past the area I stop by either for some food or a massage. My stay was exceptional and the massages are always delivered with great quality. I'm pretty sure there is some magic in the cooks hands as the food is unreal. Will be passing by later today after what's seems like forever and for sure will stop off for something. Almost like a luxurious service station for me”
“I high recommend this cafe and the tables outside looking at the railway station. One could do trainspotting there and take wonderful photos. There is so much to take on photos. The sense of the past is so strong that one has the feeling being taken back to the 60s.”
“Our Go To place. We can't find better.. every time the quality hits above standards. Amazing food and the price is right!”
“Lovely food, great service and a very nice ambience”
“By far the best Indian takeaway I've ever had. Very quick delivery, great service, good prices and delicious food. If you're looking for a good Indian restaurant, this is the one!”
“8 of us ate here It was gorgeous The food was unreal Service was great We all loved it”
“A Place That Feels Like Home – 6+ Years of Great Experiences I've been visiting Prince Shisha Garden for over 6 years now, and in that time, it’s become one of my favourite places in Loughborough. From day one, the warm and welcoming atmosphere stood out — and over the years, that feeling has only grown stronger. The quality of service is consistently excellent. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always make you feel like a valued guest. It’s not just about the food or the shisha — it’s about the people behind it. I’ve been lucky enough to build real friendships with the owners and the team, and that’s something truly special. The food is always fresh and flavourful, and the shisha is among the best you’ll find — smooth, well-prepared, and with a great selection of flavours. Whether you're visiting for a relaxed evening or a catch-up with friends, the atmosphere is always spot on. Prince isn’t just a restaurant or a shisha lounge — it’s a place where great memories are made. I genuinely can’t recommend it enough to anyone in Loughborough or passing through.”
