“Great shows and a fantastic staff team brilliant venue for every kind of show highly recommend and Liz is a great host and so welcoming”
“Very pleasant place, a little oasis! Very nice cafe, visited today with work colleagues. Lovely Broccoli & Stilton soup, sandwiches & paninis. Lattes very nice. Reasonable prices. Very clean. Go you will be surprised.”
“Great service ran by great people. I have received so much support from Sheila in welfare rights and so much support with early help from amy! Both amazing.”
“I went to yoga today for the first time. The tutor was very good and all the ladies there were very welcoming and friendly. A nice cup of tea and chat after! I will be there again next week.”
“We held my son's 30th birthday party here. The venue was perfect. We had a rodeo bull and DJ. Fantastic time had by all. The staff were really helpful especially Claire. Would fully recommend x”
“We have been coming to Zippy's since my little one was born 5 years ago. Today we attended for the Grotto which was just outstanding. The elves and Santa go above and beyond to make the experience magical. Best Grotto experience around. Thank you Zippy's.”
“Local resources are so important for any community. This is so that many different activities can be run through here. In this instance it enabled me to receive my covid vaccination update.”
“Great to read this Nursery is moving to a more healthy, sustainable, sourced from less cruel conditions, environmentally favourable diet plan for it's kids. They're going to have even more energy :-o from this 'balanced' food type, including proteins, carbs, fats, nutrients and vitamins. Good work!”
“Fantastic little market style venue. Still developing and could do with getting more shops in now but those that are there are lovely. Fantastic, friendly people. Great for the kids to get involved with arts and crafts at weekend. Social food areas and a small but fantastic gallery. Do some pottery, have some food or a coffee, dabble at community painting, get your hair done in some amazing styles whilst your there for a great price. Love this place!”
“Cheshire Oaks is definitely worth the trip if you're looking for genuine designer deals! We had a fantastic time browsing the enormous selection of high-end brands. The outdoor village layout is spacious, clean, and well-maintained, making for a really pleasant shopping experience. It's more than just shopping—there are plenty of great food and coffee spots too!”
“5 starts for Will. My daughter has thrived since doing the home-ed sessions with him. Her confidence grown and anxiety settling! Will is very patient, kind and helpful, and knows exactly how to communicate with the kids to encourage them. Many thanks Will!”
“Can I just say how wonderful the staff were today. My car broken down today in the car park and the staff especially Rachel were amazing always checking we were OK and staying in the warm trying to find a mobile tyre people as breakdown were taking a while.”
“Absolutely love this place. My little one can spend hours a day here and not get bored. The food is lovely and the staff are absolutely wonderful and accommodate all different types of children and all different food allergies. Ive never had a bad experience in the 4 years I have been attending this play centre.”
“I had my sons birthday party for the first time and I won’t be going anywhere else from now on.all the staff was amazing, friendly and great at getting the kids attention It was just run very smoothly and there was no worrying about anything I’d definitely recommend”
“Outrighton Community Centre is a gem. The historic building itself adds a unique charm, and its location in a picturesque area makes it a delightful place to visit. The facilities are suitable for a range of activities, making it a valuable asset to the community.”
“My first time here for a friend's child's birthday party. It has the basic trampoline area where you can jump to your Heart's content, there is also a great kids bit at the back were we spent most of our time. We came a second time months later, I'd recommend coming at 10am if you have small kids. There are less big kids bouncing around The place is clean, it has a few private party rooms and has loads of free lockers for all your stuff.”
“Took my two girls here for a playdate. Staff were so lovely and accommodating, in particular Danielle and Paula! - Thanks!! The place was very clean! Staff were seen to be clearing tables and the floor was hoovered several times whilst we were there. Was really busy when we arrived but food was brought out in a timely manner and was lovely! My girls had a fab time. Will definitely be back! Thank you!”
“Popped in to use the public toilet. I noticed how well maintained and how clean the place was. The cakes looked amazing and the display of ice cream. The adventure playground looks fun. Great place to entertain the children. It gets very busy in the Spring / Summer months.”
“Great party for my son today . Libby was particularly great looking after his party and had such a nice attitude . We chose bounce house as have been quite a few times and always find staff really helpful and more obliging than in lots of other soft play places . Was super super busy today but staff were still accommodating . Kids had a great time . Thanks all .”
“Excellent church and toddler group, the blonde lady who runs it (I don't know her title and don't want to get it wrong ) is great, very approachable , welcoming and probably one of the nicest people I've ever met, really down to earth and caring . I can tell she loves what she does and she's always chatting to the parents and children and helping people. Very well run group another lady who helps is very good too . Literally can't fault the place and where else would you get a bacon butty, large coffee, toast for your child and a load of fruit later for them. Wish I could go more”
“Went to a meeting staff very friendly, greeted us showed to our room. Brought tea vouchers and helped carrying drinks as we are all disabled.”
“The food here comes highly recommended so we had a group afternoon tea on Sunday and it was excellent. A beautiful vegetable tart (not a tartlet!!!) with side salad followed by a good range of well-filled sandwiches (beef, ham, chicken, cheese & egg). Then mini Victoria sandwiches, scones with jam&cream and a tray of bite-sized mini cakes. I recommend you miss lunch when you try this!”
“Fantastic place to take the kids with the value of a yearly membership it's great for a rainy day. We have been twice in the space of a month. I am sure they change the interactive activities but regardless it's great to see replaces that are affordable for family's.”
“This was my first visit back to Velocity since the Pandemic, so it was nice to see the changes made to the layout. There is now not just the upstairs area for the grown-ups to sit down, but quite a large seating area downstairs. The kids seemed to love it and there were employees / marshalls that kept an eye on them as they jetted around. My advice would be to come early, since it seems to get very busy from around lunch time. All up, decent place and worth a visit if you want the kids to burn some energy.”
“Visited with a younger relative who had an amazing time. The play frame and rooms were clean and inviting. The play frame was actually really impressive and my daughter went around it with her cousin. Coffee and Matcha were a hit with us (absolutely loved the range of non dairy milks which were not an additional charge). I particularly liked how much calmer it was than other play places we have visited which we usually leave due to overwhelm- even though it was fully booked. The sensory room is a brilliant addition. Staff were attentive and kept the place clean and also on hand to help. We received a friendly welcome, goodbye and service was great when we wanted drinks. No complaints at all.”
“The Hub is great loads of cheep food and they also sell second hand clothes”
“Absolutely fabulous place. It's only small, but so much fun for all ages. Only downside is, it's mixed ages each session, so it's little awkward to enjoy when there's children racing around. Separate sessions would be best.”
“It’s a lovely adventure play park for kids of all ages Adults included. Various challenges and difficulty to challenge everyone. It really does channel the TV show into a family entertainment package.”
“We've visited twice now and it's brilliant. Very new ATM so everything is clean and works well. We've visited the Halifax site and I prefer this one. While it might be smaller it definitely has a lot to offer. With set spaces to learn about nature and the human body. It also has a theatre for shows and a science/craft space. There's also the burrow space for toddlers which we haven't visited yet but it sounds great. It's in a good location near the ferry port but we easily spend 3hrs here. The only thing that could be improved is accessibility. The halifax eureka has visual and hearing aids in the toilets and a family toliet. Also the picnic area if you bring a packed lunch is very small. We're looking forward to our next visit.”
“Booked an after school play for my children and a few friends as she didn't want a big party, staff we're fab and made her feel special. Very accommodating! Pizza was great and nothing was too much trouble! Thanks so much guys!”
