“I went to couple of woodyards to see how much the wood I needed was and found the staff here to be friendly and the wood was a better price and seems slightly better than other wood yard I visited. They also had a tiny wild bird who hangs out in their yard called Stumpy which is tame enough to get within touching distance which made my day.”

Nice internal doors too. Delivered here Thursday 1st July. Only place in my memory where one of the office / managers came onto the yard and actually helped by jumping on the forks. They knew about my order, gave me a receipt and instructions to drive into the shed. Was told to show a guy the receipt and he would put the order in my car. They did that. Very easy. “Usually my first port of call. Has everything from home to garden. There are shops about where you can buy DIY items, tools etc cheaper but then you've heard of the quote "buy cheap, buy twice". Items here are quality, durable and so far... unbreakable. If the product you want isn't in stock they will order it for the following day plus the late closing means you can call after work and not wait until the weekend. The staff are really helpful too.”

“After a fair bit of research and looking around the web, I ordered a large bulk order, 81 of their 2.4m x 45 x 220mm Planed Timber for my new furniture business. I sent a few messages to confirm they were kiln dried and that they are kept indoors, something a lot of other suppliers don't do for their kiln dried. All communication was excellent, prompt and friendly. Arrived well and as I'm not too far away by my local courier, Grand prix express, who where also great and were able to get the pallet delivery, right up to my workshop, saving a lot of work and stress. Boards are nice, straight and planned, I also checked their moisture content with a moisture meter and they were nice and dry. My batch were very characterful, with a fair few with a lovely subtle pinkish hue. 45mm thickness is excellent, nice balance, look good and really solid, while being lighter than expected pretty marginal weight increase over standard Scaff boards. Price is also amazing, looking forward to making even more builds with them and hopefully ordering more at some point. Very happy and highly recommended. Many Thanks Casey”
