“We had a great experience at slug and lettuce with George & Kashmira serving us. They were very attentive and always bringing new drinks when we had finished. “I had the Ramen with pork belly. Simply yummy, but if you can't eat spicy food, let them know. It's a very big portion, perhaps a little too much for small eaters.Also ordered the bao bun but yet to try it, so can't comment yet.”

“17th December 2025 Wandering Wednesday took Hubby and I not too far away, to The Rams Head in Grappenhall, Warrington. This picturesque little, tiny cobblestone village is so beautiful, especially when it’s been snowing, picture postcard and I’m sure filming has been done there in the past, only a couple of pubs, couple of houses and a beautiful church. The menu has plenty to offer but with it being near to Christmas, we both decided to go with something lighter as Christmas is full of rich heavy foods…. So on that note we both had the same: Ole faithful…. Fish and chips, accompanied with minted mushy peas, curry sauce and creamy tartar sauce, we both ordered a couple of slices of bread and butter. Our servers were very professional, polite and attentive, I only got the name of one of the ladies, Lauren…. Who is a totally credit to this establishment, thank you for today Lauren. Food was piping hot and tastsy.”

“I love this place, it's one of my favourite restaurants. I usually come here with my son who's 16, as he loves eating here. We've been on a Monday a few times during half term when it's half price. Great value, friendly staff. Can't fault it. I hope it reopens when restaurants are allowed to open again, as we'd love to have another meal here.”

“Came here with my work for a meal and drinks. We all sat out in the courtyard which I thought was very nice. There were all these huts around a fire pit and the they were all shielded from the sun which was great as it was a super hot day. They did also have heaters underneath all of them so would be a great place to sit out on a cold day as well. The food came out and it looked amazing. I ordered the 8oz ribeye steak.”

“Went for the first time tonight. As it was offering a £10 special Thursday night, Very quick and efficient service. Friendly and helpful staff. Food was limted but due to covid its understandable. Food was outstanding, hot and fresh and very tasty. 5* when covid is over I think the and hope this business will thrive. Thank you for such a lovely experience. Definitely will be back.”
