Our daughter recommended this fantastic place to us,my parents visited before they went to Thailand and they enjoyed it. Now we have tried it.I was hooked after just 2 mouthfuls of my chicken panang. The spring rolls, fishcakes and the stuffed wings exquisite. We are celebrating our 27th anniversary and this was our anniversary meal. I guarantee we will be ordering again thank you so much.”

“A fantastic independent fruit and veg shop. As well as the basics, they always have seasonal and special produce from local growers too. I can’t go in for one thing without picking up another tasty something else I’ve spotted… also selling bear bakery bread now which is a huge bonus. You have to be quick to grab a loaf before they sell out though! Very friendly and helpful team working there too. Definitely one of Hoole’s gems”

We've been here before, so know what to expect - a friendly welcome and efficient service, innovative, well cooked food that is bursting with flavour, a good quality drinks menu, a chilled but not quiet atmosphere - it's a treat each time we go. I have a slight dairy intolerance and received the usual, very helpful advice from the owner on what dishes would suit me best. Lucky to have this place so close by.”

“This is a great place to stop off for a quick vegetarian/ vegan lunch. Their falafel bowls and wraps go down a treat for me and my girlfriend, we are always served with a smile and the price is unbeatable for a healthy lunch smashing in your 5 a day. Would definitely recommend getting either one of their smoothies or juices”

“Got told about this place by a work colleague and I must say it doesn’t disappoint, I had cottage pie and a slice of chocolate cake and wow! “great initiative, this. just got two bulging bags of shopping for twenty-odd quid, including some suncream and razors which would cost at least a tenner on their own these days. there's always been a really good selection of produce here, either for your everyday basics like veg and bread and cupboard bits, or little snacky items that perhaps you wouldn't usually venture to. they've always had a really excellent selection of freezer pies that are great to have in, plus some things that you wouldn't really expect like baby food, health food items, gluten free stuff, vegetarian items... all very much worth a look! staff are very friendly and helpful, free parking, and you can grab a toastie when you're done. can't say fairer than that, really. huge asset to the community!”

“My first time here and it was superb. Three of us, wife, one of our children and myself. Food was brilliant and fairly priced, lighting in particular was just right. We are all a little neuro spicy and the right lighting is very important. Helen in particular was a delight. Welcoming, pleasant and knowledgeable about the product. My wife always asks for recommendations and not everyone everywhere can give an informed and interesting answer. Helen was all over it.”

“Great place to shop, plenty of choice all at knock down prices, admittedly some of the stock is out of date but its still usable. Never had a problem and I've shopped here many times. “I love Laros. I have been ordering from this place for three years and the food always slaps. I love the Talagani cheese wrap. It's incredibly salty which mixes in incredibly well with the fresh salad and crispy chips. Would highly recommend this place anyone who just wants good food and friendly staff.”

“It's great for bargains on snacks. Especially when they are close to their next before date. Also their sliced bread is always fresh, even more so than the larger supermarkets. It's with paying the extra in a loaf because it's so fresh.”

“I like Iceland just sometimes have problem parking next to store and other supermarkets in area keep close eye on customers always being able to Park as some leave cars in supermarket car parks which are free buy a few odds and bobs then walk into mold - very difficult for managers of these bigger stores to police the situation I think. It’s all business !”
