“Stayed for a night as visiting family and very happy with everything. Check in was easy and smooth just as check out. Room was lovely and clean and fresh and even better that we loved it but so did our 2 dogs and it's unusual for them to settle and relax and they did just that. Great location easy to find and get to and from. Looking forward to staying again soon and would highly recommend.”

“Love staying here. Matt and Rachel run some beautiful cottages. Well looked after and lovely place to stay. If you're interested in animals, then have cameras showing things they have on site and often a barn owl nests here. Can't wait for my next visit”

“Wonderful apartment with 5 star service from beginning to end. The owner, Patrizio, has some serious interior design skills, the place is so beautiful. For a group of girls going to Chester Races ladies day, it was the perfect glamorous spot. Right in the centre of Chester surrounded by boutiques, restaurants and bars, yet very peaceful inside. Breakfast brought to the room was the icing on the cake. I can see this becoming an annual event!”

“We cannot praise this accommodation highly enough. Clare and Nigel were delightful hosts and very helpful. The breakfasts were lovely, with a choice of hot breakfasts and homemade granola, fruit cocktail, yogurt, toast from homemade bread with preserves. We will definitely be going again. “I stayed at Fernlea Cottage B&B during a training week in Tattenhall, Cheshire. Everything about Fernlea Cottage is wonderful. The bed was very comfortable, the room was cosy and included everything I needed, and the bathroom was clean and very functional - lovely hot water. The breakfasts were delicious and I was asked everyday what I would like for the following day. Fresh eggs and delicious bacon. Superb service and very friendly and welcoming owners. Thank you SO much.”

Bed perfect, beer on arrival if u want it, toothpaste and tooth brush in case you forget yours, shower perfect and u even got shampoo. He does his best to get you parked. And just to finish it off you are right in the town. Would certainly recommend and will come again. One of the best places we've stopped in”

“We spent two nights at this very pleasant and spotlessly clean B & B in July 18. The setting is rural and beautiful and 20mins from Chester. Gill and Terry were very welcoming and the breakfasts were excellent.”

“Lovely welcome and easy check in. Our room was gorgeous. Modern, great layout and beautifully cleaned . Large bathroom, big bed, tea, hot chocolate and a cafetiere with proper ground coffee! A comfortable and quiet sleep and a fabulous breakfast included the next morning. Great free parking on site. Set on the river with easy access to river, town and walls. Perfect!”

“I booked 13 rooms at The Pied Bull in Chester for myself and a group of work colleagues, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The welcome on arrival was warm and genuine, and every member of staff we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and incredibly accommodating (special thanks to the ladies working when I checked in on the evening of the 26/11) The rooms were consistently clean, comfortable, and spacious, with excellent beds and generously sized showers. Everyone in our group commented on how well they slept and how well-maintained the rooms were. The blend of historic character with modern comfort added a special charm that really sets The Pied Bull apart. Breakfast was another standout: high-quality, hearty, and freshly prepared, exactly what we needed to start a busy day. For the standard of accommodation, service, and the central location, the value for money was genuinely impressive. Speaking of location, you couldn’t ask for more and a few of the group said they’d return here if they visit Chester again. Jason”

“Wonderful experience as a tenant renting with Jordan & Halstead in Chester. Sara and the rest of the team were super helpful when we needed things done urgently and were a go-between for us and the landlord for our requests, so we always felt looked after and they did regular safety inspections. Would highly recommend them for renting! If I had a property I'd feel safe with them too.”
