“I love this place, it's one of my favourite restaurants. I usually come here with my son who's 16, as he loves eating here. We've been on a Monday a few times during half term when it's half price. Great value, friendly staff. Can't fault it. I hope it reopens when restaurants are allowed to open again, as we'd love to have another meal here.”

“Visiting Stretton Heath I would recommend a visit to the Mulberry tree, a really nice friendly pub, with lots of knooks and crannies, the staff were really friendly and for me as a football fan there are plenty of large screen televisions to watch. Would definitely go back”

“Me and my sister go quite often, usually once a week. The food is often nice (too nice, hence why we are now fat and broke,a Nandos diet is much needed). Staff are friendly, especially Lewis (pretty sure it is his name, apologises if not). He is always very friendly and has great customer service.”

“Didnt eat here but the beer was great! Lovely beer garden that is very large! Plenty of seating, nice atmosphere in and outside. Good music, they had a DJ on who was very friendly and i think was running the quiz. Bar staff were really nice. Parking nearby. All in all, a nice little evening!”

“Had a great visit here. Food was really nice, served hot, tasted great and was good value for money. Nice drinks selection and not overly priced like a lot of places. The service made our visit though. Charlotte our waitress was fantastic. She was happy, smiley, polite and went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. She even came back after we had our meals to ensure everything was OK. The restaurant was busy and she was running round all over the place ( a great employee, just what a busy pub needs). The first ‘Wandering Wednesday’ of the New Year… Took Hubby Neil and I to Cheshire Oaks, to one of our favourite eateries…. Chiquito’s….. we love this Mexican restaurant. Fresh food, cooked to order, full of flavours and colour! We both had a pot of tea, as this day is so cold with the snow and freezing fog…. Starters: we both had the same: a double stack of tortillas, layered with garlic butter, parsley with mozzarella and oven baked….. thin and crispy, a perfect base…. A simple dish but sooooo tasty. Entrée’s: Neil had a tinga chicken and beef chilli Burrito filled with rice, black beans, salsa, mozzarella, quac, jalapeño cheese sauce, all wrapped in a tortilla, with added volcano sauce to spice it up, the dish was dressed with a side of homemade nachos with sour cream to dip…. Neil also added a side of spicy fries. I had tinga chicken with beef chilli Enchiladas, filled with rice, jalapeño cheese sauce, black beans, baked in the oven with rich tomato sauce, mixed with volcano sauce for that extra little kick and melted mozzarella over the top, with red pickled onions and sour cream…… A side of loaded crisp seasoned fries with chicken, chorizo and melted mozzarella….. All the dishes were perfect, our server today was a lovely lady who has served us previously, Amanda was professional, very courteous and attentive, a total credit to this establishment, many thanks for making our lunch perfect. Also massive complements to the chefs for their beautifully presented, culinary delights! Will we be back? Really! No need to ask!! 100% yes! 13 November 2024 ‘Wandering Wednesday’ this week took Hubster Neil and I to Chiquito’s at Cheshire Oaks. Starters: Neil had a double tortilla, oven baked layered with melted cheese, garlic butter, parsley and finely chopped red chilli on top, lovely and crisp with no soggy bottom! I had Quesadilla Birria with melted mozzarella cheese, fried onion and shredded beef….. served with a gravy jus. Entrée’s: Neil had Burrito filled with rice, refried beans, salsa, mozzarella, guacamole, jalapeño cheese sauce, tinga chicken, beef chilli and hot sauce all wrapped up in a large tortilla, the oven baked, accompanied with homemade tortilla chips and sour cream…..and a side dish of spiced fries. I had Enchiladas, tortillas filled with rice, jalapeño cheese sauce, tinga chicken and Barbacoa beef, baked in tomato sauce, smothered with Monterey Jack cheese, then finished off with sour cream and pink onions. A side dish of loaded nachos, jalapeño peppers, onions, melted mozzarella, sour cream, jalapeño cheese sauce, guacamole and salsa, with chicken and chorizo, tray baked so it all infused! Washed down with a pot of tea each, warmed us cockles as it was a very cold day. Our server was a lovely lady called Amanda, excellent service with a beautiful smile, very polite and attentive, totally professional, a credit to this restaurant, thank you, also many thanks to the chefs, your food was delicious, again thank you. The restaurants all around the ‘Coliseum’ at Cheshire Oaks look very tired and washed out from the outside but we can reassure you that Chiquito’s on the inside is gleaming, very clean, surrounded with very colourful, Mexican shades in the decor, truly beautiful inside and the food is OUTSTANDING, as always…… Will we go back? Most DEFINITELY!!!”

“We needed somewhere to eat before visiting Chester Zoo lights and this was the closest place I could find, so we weren't expecting a great deal. This place far exceeded expectation, the burger we had is one of if not the best I've had and my 11 year old grandson told the waitress he would give the restaurant a 5 star rating. We would definitely go again.”

“If you looking to grab something to eat really quick, you should go to slims chickens. Was served by a lovely woman with black hair. We had 7 tenders meals and a honey bbq sandwich which was amaizing. Love it ! Fresh cooked chicken, app offers, lot of space inside and they also have a space outside for people that smoke or just want to stay outside. We also had biscoff shake. Was sooo delicious!!! Unfurtunally they don't accept dogs inside, only guide dogs or assisstance dog. Hence, we sat outside. For sure we'll be back.”

“Went in for dinner after wet day at the zoo. Pub was nice and warm when walked in and straight away the smell of the food in carvery smelt fantastic. Bar staff were welcoming young lady that served me I think was called Lindsey. We all ordered a soft drink and carvery each( 3 adults 2 children) chefs working on carvery one was Kenny didn't catch the other lads name but both were very pleasant. Young lady called Ellie brought are deserts who was also very attentive and smilie.”

“Always love Nando’s food, I get the children’s meal for £6 because it’s more than enough food and so cheap. Our food came quick and was hot. I got the new flavour, realised soon enough that it was incredibly spicy but tasted amazing! The waiter forgot to bring my glass over for my drink after bringing over my partner’s but after I showed him my order, he solved the issue and grabbed me a glass. Only issue I had was that there was food on the floor under our table which I stepped in, must have not been noticed when the table was cleaned but that wasn’t a big issue. Would definitely come again!”

“Food was excellent as always. Went there with some of our friends celebrating their sons birthday. I asked the staff for a cake and candle as a surprise. They came promptly with the cake and sang happy birthday to him, didn't even charge for the cake. Thank you to everyone at Nandos, we had a great time.”

“A great pub in the heart of Chester with some nice outdoor seating on a large patio overlooking the canal. Staff were friendly. A great place to people watch.”

“Kerry and Zach gave excellent customer service and went above and beyond. I happened to mention I’d be checking out very early the following morning. Kerry and Zach organised a small breakfast bag for me when they didn’t have to. They also switched on the coffee machine for a takeaway coffee. A lovely gesture. Additionally, the room was very clean and maintained to a high standard. Convenient location when visiting Warrington. Thank you for a pleasant stay. Daniel”

“A good place to stop halfway around the shops… This Pret is a nice spacious cafe with super comfortable seats and a good choice of food and drinks. We came in here initially hoping to get a nice refreshing iced tea but unfortunately couldn’t see any on the menu (so assumed that iced tea isn’t an option in Pret, as we’ve never been to one before) there were bottles of green tea in the fridge but it wasn’t quite what we were looking for. The cake selection was brilliant and all of them looked great, my partner chose a chocolate croissant - she said it was delicious and one of the best ones she’s ever had, it was nice and light pastry with plenty of chocolate filling/flavour. We had a bottle of peach tea from the fridge which was ok but nothing amazing. The leather seats in here are very comfortable and you’ll just sink into them, I honestly could have sat there for hours. The staff were very friendly, at least the gentleman who served us was - he was very chatty and had a smile on his face which just made the whole transaction a better experience.”

“One of the best Nandos! We are kinda in the middle of Chester, Cheshire Oaks & Warrington, so we have plenty of Nando choices - however the Stockton Heath is our favourite. The food is consistently great, along with the service & atmosphere. Special mention to Option who is a ray of sunshine with everyone who comes through the doors, & shout out to the guys cooking, the food is always delicious.”

“Fabulous food! Fish portions are large and perfectly cooked in golden batter and the chips are perfection, nice and crispy rather than the flaccid variety found all too often. Pizza is also excellent! The owners are lovely people who work very hard to serve their local community with high quality fast food that doesn't cost the Earth. Well worth a detour. enjoy !!!”

“We had breakfast on this occasion. Breakfast lovely and service. Coffee machine kept packing in but staff were always on it. Was busier than what I thought it would be Friday morning. Great atmosphere.”
