“We stopped overnight to break up a long journey. It was a bargain for a huge family room. The swimming pool was great for a little one and the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were all working well. Food was great and the chef freshly prepared our breakfasts as they were a little light on guests that morning. The team was very pleasant and friendly.”

“Stopped by today initially just for a drink but ended up having a small carvery with my dad & daughter. Food was good, fresh turkey brought out and friendly guy behind the servery. But the staff member who needs the upmost praise is Sam. She was friendly as soon as we walked in, her customer service skills and attention were amazing. She truly is a credit to your team and deserves a reward. I'll be back to eat and drop some books off for your Macmillan charity trolley which I think is a great idea. Well done Sam you made us feel so welcome, id had a really rubbish day and you cheered me up.”

“Amazing food, fantastic value for money doing the pizza buffet on Xmas eve. Pizzas were all piping hot and constantly topped up. Service was great, Alicia was fantatstic checking everything was ok, making sure we had everything we needed and clearing up the mess with no issue when my 5yr old dropped her plate! Would recommend.”

“We loved every single moment . The staff made christmas delightful without the stresses of cooking and dishes . It was our 1st time eating out on christmas day and will for sure 100% be back next year ! We didn't have any issues, though, a few comments to be made regarding choices for the gluten-free menu, which I have raised already with GK, though it didn't dampen our days . The 0% was a delightful treat, and we were so glad we felt like we were 100% enjoying the christmas spirits . All snr staff were happy and delightful as always . Id 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone and especially if you're thinking of eating out christmas day !”

“This is the best Greene King I’ve been to. It’s just had a massive refurb and looks very modern. It has a big TV wall with the match on the big screen. Next to it on the smaller TVs next to it with sky sports news so you can monitor the other matches at the same time. It has a fab dart board also that adds up your scores automatically. Toilets are spotless. My first meal here was burger and chips and it was fresh with some lovely sea salt on my chips. I was on lemonade and it was nice and tasty! Fully recommend this place and it has a nice size car park to make it easy to drive there. Monday nights is Speed Quizzing which is great fun, free to play and you can win a gift card as well.”

“Lovely staff at Leon Chester services, food is prepared quickly and efficiently. Seating are is constantly cleaned and bins emptied. Always love their good and hot chocolate. Frequent stops taken there for food and rest.”

“Visited for the first time today for my dinner in work. My work colleagues have had takeaway from here before they told me it was really good. The restaurant wasnt your average chargrill house, it was really warm and had a rustic vibe to it. I ordered the 6oz cheeseburger with sweet chilli sauce and fries. Being a well travelled and massive foodie I've got to say this was without a doubt the best cheeseburger I've had in years! Absolutely gorgeous food! Way better than anything else I've found in Chester even the posh new food courts where the old bus stop used to be. Staff was very friendly and explained what shwarma was to me and even let us try the cold Greek drink they serve in like a milkshake mixer free of charge to see if we liked it. 100% I will be visiting regularly from now on. My only negative thing i can think of is that I haven't been to this place sooner!”

“We came here today for the first time in over a year. I give it all fives as didn’t have any problems. The server was very friendly, food was brilliant and the atmosphere was nice. The robot butler came a few times with our food - that was an unexpected twist. Overall, definitely better than Broughton Park.”

“We loved the newly decorated room style with the table and chairs instead of the sofa bed. The team were very friendly and helpful as is usual and the cleanliness and levels of maintenance were top notch as usual too. Location is great as it's just a 10 minute drive from Chester Zoo and a very short drive to the park and ride into Chester, which is only £2.50 per adult for a return ticket. The breakfast and evening meals are in the hotel now and pre booking at reception is essential. They've closed the adjacent pub, so if you're not as organised as you'd like to be regarding evening meals then do try The Cheshire Cat just 5 minutes drive away.”

“29/02/24 I came here for the try dive mainly to get over my own fear of deep water where I couldn’t touch the floor, and having my head underwater something I’ve never liked. John the instructor was super supportive, and the crew around were super friendly and full of knowledge, there’s eyes all over you so you feel completely safe. Definitely one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Will be looking to book again to gain some more confidence in the water, thank you to John and the team. Hope to see you all again soon.”

“Really fast delivery tonight. Pizzas were both lovely - couldn’t even get a photo taken quickly enough! Italian thin base is great. Also got chips and everything was nice and hot by the time it arrived. We have an awkward address and they called in advance to make sure they had it right which I thought was fantastic service. Will definitely be ordering again!”
