“This is one of the many good Indian Restaurants/Takeaways in the local area. Saying that, Zeera is absolutley one of the best. Both takeaway and dining in, is brilliant. The takeaway is easy to order over the phone, and is always either made to a time selected by yourself, or if given a time to collect, it is near enough always ready to collect. Further to that you get a 15% discount which makes it a really good option. Dining in, is also pleasant. The staff here are always dressed smartly and are friendly. The food is always tasty, consistent and the atmosphere is nice. Zeera has been around for years, and is highly recommended.”

“Best chippy around for miles. Never visit the chippy but this one is a real treat and we use it often. The fish served is huge and fresh and you just can’t fault it, the chips are cooked to perfection and the gravy is delicious. The proprietor is serving a tremendous treat.”

Again leaving in search of the holy grail. It's about a 12-13 min drive to the golden dragon, so not exactly local but we have no good options anymore around Blackrod. I tried this place because of the good reviews on Google. I can honestly say this place is amazing. It has competitive pricing and everything was really good quality. Also the portion sizes were really large. We had the fried combo starter, which was really good. Beef satay, fried rice, chips and crackers. Was absolutely phenomenal. We found our new non-local, local takeout. Highly recommend.”

“I have visited Bindi of Aspull yesterday with my friends, and once again, it didn’t disappoint us. The food was absolutely fantastic. Tandoori Mixed Grill was outstanding-full of flavour and cooked to perfection. Chicken Tikka Masala remains an evergreen favourite always.My friends also really enjoyed their curries. Despite it being a bit busy, the service was excellent. The staff are friendly and attentive. Bindi of Aspull continues to be the number one Indian restaurant. Highly recommended!”
