Took back to Mercedes for its MOT, advised the above from halfords and it passed surprisingly! They saved me a fair bit of money so thank you!”

“Took my BMW for MOT, brake pads replacement & service, also I’ve had problem with my air condition it didn’t work - last year took my car to other car garage in Croydon who call themselves BMW specialists and told them about air condition And when I came to collect my car they’ve told me that they looked at the air condition and told me what I already knew that it doesn’t work And charged me £50 for telling me that. They’ve Told me that whole dash board needs to be removed in order to Spot the issue and it may be a matter of hundreds of pounds. Mr Kabir personally took a care of my car He’s highly skilled Mechanic with tons of experience and he knows BMW’s inside out. All work done on my car with great precision and care, on top of that it took Mr Kabir 15 minutes to fix the air condition i was shocked and couldn’t thank him enough knowing that my car was in a good hands of highly skilled professional Thank you so much Mr Kabir job worth 10 stars”

The staff especially Hanifah were not pushy, she allowed us time to browse and was very attentive and friendly when needed. “Any time you use a new garage you're always a bit wary and this was no different - I have always stuck to what I know. However when the manufacturer issues a recall notice you have to go to an approved dealer. Kinghams were my closest. Staff were friendly on the telephone making the booking, you get confirmation by text (and a reminder) and I found them to be helpful and knowledgeable in person. During the day I received 2 videos of the work being carried out (airbag replacement) and a call to let me know when the work was completed. Overall a positive experience (and a nice shiny car on collection)”

“Can't fault Halfords to be honest. They are very reliable and quick with completing jobs. I'm always surprised at how reasonable their prices are and to be fair, I don't think there's really too much of a difference between them and Kwikfit when it comes to general servicing and tyres, BUT Halfords do offer a much greater range of vehicle repairs, parts and consumables. And the one reason why I always choose them is the perks I get from their Motoring Club and the fact that you can spread the cost of repairs and maintenance from 3 months up to a year (depending on your credit status and which plan you choose from the 3 or 4 on offer from Halfords and third party providers that Halfords support for payments). I'm quite pleased with Halfords and for the foreseeable future I guess this bargain hunter is stuck with them... so long as their perks stay good, their work remains infallible and their prices stay right.”
