“I visited on Saturday and really enjoyed it! Staff helped open the door for me and my buggy, which not all places do sadly. Also gave me some water for my dog. Food was lovely, I had the croquettes and a charcuterie board. Sat away in a corner with a book and read. Other parts of the pub were quite lively but I enjoyed the ambiance and still had a nice time away from home!”

“I walked in here for the first time in 9 years and it had changed drastically, in a positive way. I was greeted with smiles which instantly lifted my mood. I came in here for the pool, which I must say, is the best pool table I’ve played on, immaculate. The service was second to none, and il be coming back.”

“We had a wonderful one-night stay and truly enjoyed every moment. From the very first step inside, the reception team welcomed us with genuine English hospitality. The gentleman at the front desk was excellent – clear, attentive, and immediately helped us choose the perfect room. We felt relaxed from the start. The room was spacious, comfortable, and offered a stunning view over London. After a lovely evening walk to see the Christmas lights, we returned to find champagne glasses kindly delivered to our room, which made the night feel even more special. A warm bath, a glass of sparkling wine, and time together – the perfect end to the day. Breakfast in the morning was just as impressive: friendly staff, fresh juice, a proper English breakfast, and plenty of delicious pastries. We left absolutely delighted. A truly memorable stay.”

“I stayed for two nights and had a pleasant experience overall. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast offered a good variety of quality items. The only downside was that the coffee machine wasn’t working properly, which was a bit disappointing in the mornings. The rooms were a good size and comfortable. Overall, a nice stay with just a small area for improvement.”

The Runnymede on Thames Hotel and Spa

    ★★★★☆ 4.4
    Open

“I stayed here during the Women's Rugby World Cup (Sept 2025) as my usual hotel was full. I was unsure at first having not stayed here before though being familiar as I've had lunch a few times prior to being Warner. The room was clean, fresh and well appointed. Everything you need and with a superb view of the river. Any noise from the nearby road or Heathrow dims intonrhe background when windows are closed. The food at both dinner and breakfast is superb either in the Market Kitchen (buffet style) or Brasserie (served). I'd recommend trying both. Range of options are available and all dietary needs can (and will) be accommodated. Each evening, there is live entertainment provided. For us it was sounds of the 80s and then Billy Black Band. Absolutely superb with at seat service of drinks available. The gym, pool and spa are spot on whether you want a light pleasure pampering or fitness. I was very impressed. The staff cannot do enough to help, always carry a smile, and clearly know what they are doing. The easiest analogy I can make is it's a cruise ship on land. And a bloomin good one. This wasn't a planned stay but I will definitely be back. Very impressed.”

We had the hotel for exclusive hire and all of the guests were well looked after. Ciaran, I and our family felt completely supported and celebrated. It was the perfect day filled with joy and love! Would highly recommend.”

“I stayed here for a few days in May. The staff is lovely - very happy to assist with suggestions for nearby activities and food options. I had requested for a ground floor room due to luggage and they accommodated me. It’s within a short walking distance of the tube station and plenty of options to eat nearby. The room was comfortably sized and the only downside of the ground floor room was the noise from people checking in/out in the morning. I chose this place because of the convenient location and had no problem navigating with my luggage for my journey to Heathrow. I was able to keep my bags post checkout time as I had a late departure and everyone on the staff was super nice.”

“We took a trip to Dublin with this company, and I have to say everything worked perfectly. Like clockwork. The transfers from the airport to the hotel and back were fantastic. Our driver, Robert, was super friendly. He was very attentive to the fact that the hurling final was being held on the return day and the streets near the hotel, which was across from the pitch, were closed and were packed with fans. He therefore had to pick us up a little early, notifying the tour operator himself. The taxi was very clean and the service impeccable. When we arrived in Ireland, Chris picked us up, also providing spectacular service. In short, a 10-point service, highly recommended.”

“I recently visited [Tannu kitchen], and I’m genuinely impressed by the overall experience. From the moment I stepped in, everything — from the food quality to the staff’s professionalism — was top-notch. The staff deserves special recognition. Everyone I interacted with was polite, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. From the cashier who greeted me with a smile to the cook who quickly prepared my order, you could tell they take pride in what they do.They were efficient and organized, yet still made time to answer questions and offer recommendations. It’s rare to see such warm and professional service in a busy fast food setting. I especially appreciated how they double-checked my order to make sure everything was correct.”

“Cannot recommend this place enough. The three of us had planned to get our own dishes and just share a couple, but everything was so amazing we had to try it all. The Tabouleh and Fattoush salads were unreal, the falafel was the best I’d ever had, and the hummus Beiruty was lovely. The whole meal all we talked about was about amazing the food was. We also had a large glass of house wine each and ended with espresso martinis, alongside our 7 dishes, for just under £30 each!!! AND they bought us free baklava to end the meal. Amazing value, especially in London. The staff were lovely and the service was prompt. It was so good we even went back for takeaway the next day. I could live off your food!!”

    Sofra Restaurant Mayfair

“Recommended. Cold, rainy night, we were looking for a warm setting and good food. Mediterranean cuisine a plus. Pub food didn't interest us. The menu suggested a lentil soup, my bride's go-to comfort food. We decided to give it a try. The hour was early, we were seated promptly, and served up with some fresh bread and hummus. WARNING: The fresh bread is dangerous. I wanted to make a meal of it. The red lentil soup was a hit - hearty, satisfying. I had a grilled chicken fillet with basmati rice - delicious. We ordered wine with the meal, we enjoy a nice Pinot Noir. Closest they had was a Merlot and a Turkish red wine. Turkey makes wine? Decided to give it a try. I offered my bride a sip of the Kavaklidere Yakut Red. Smooth, low tanins, very satisfying. She liberated my Yakut, I drank her Merlot. Both were good. Very happy with the experience - would visit again.”

    Macaroni Restaurant

“Went to Macaroni’s for a dinner out with friends. Food was very well cooked and presented, the pasta sauce absolutely gorgeous. Paired with a refreshing rose, made for a lovely end of week. For dessert had pana cotta, which was good but not mind blowing (in fairness, the dessert itself isn’t mind blowing, so really not the restaurant’s fault). It’s a cozy place for a meal, good atmosphere to go with friends and have a chat and a laugh while enjoying food and a nice wine.”

    Chelsea Potter

    Open

“Stopped in for “just one” at the Chelsea Potter on a lazy Sunday and accidentally time-traveled into the best people-watching sitcom London never filmed. I ordered a 1664 because I’m a classy bloke with continental aspirations. The vibe? Immaculate. It’s like the pub itself took a Xanax and said, “Let’s just chill, mate.” Everyone around looked like they were either recovering from a night at Soho House or preparing to casually buy a building. And me? I was the main character, beer in hand, judging outfits like it was fashion week and I was Anna Wintour in sneakers. Highly recommend if you want to sip, stare, and silently narrate other people’s lives with zero judgment (well, minimal judgment). Bonus points for clean loos and zero seagull attacks. 4/5 would sit here again pretending I live in a Richard Curtis movie.”

“We recently had our wedding here and couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From the very beginning of the planning process right through to the big day itself, everything was handled smoothly and professionally. The team truly went above and beyond to make sure everything ran perfectly. We were looking for an all-in-one venue that offered free parking, great food, fair pricing, and ideally, a fantastic DJ—and this place delivered on all fronts. It was the perfect package! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was amazing, and the DJ kept the party going all night. What really stood out was the staff. They treated us and our guests with such kindness and care, which allowed us to truly relax and enjoy every moment. Any adjustments or last-minute changes were met with a reassuring "not a problem—we’ll make it work," and they always did. Our guests haven’t stopped talking about what a fantastic time they had. We’re so grateful for such a memorable day and highly recommend this venue to anyone planning their special day.”
