“I went to 144 On The Hill on Saturday evening and had a lovely experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the service was attentive without being intrusive, and the food was absolutely delicious — beautifully presented and full of flavour. “Lovely pub, with very good food. You get all the usual pub staples and then some Romanian dishes. Can recommend the tripe soup and you definitely have to try mititei. Has TVs, an outdoor area, when weather permits there is a bouncy play area for children, it's pet friendly and there is parking available.”

“Hotel is in great location, easy to access via public transport. Room was spacious and surprisingly quiet even the room faced busy roads. Every member of staff was kind and accomodating from check in. Breakfast had plenty of options, from cooked meals to cereals. Plus point that they serve coctails as well. It was a great stay. It felt quite out of place and the direct route from Whitechapel tube station feels quite dodgy especially at night. Some great food places around the area though.”

“This truly is a lovely restaurant. The waiters are very caring and attentive. I need gluten free because I am celiac and they work with the chef to let you know what you can eat. The food tastes amazing. I have eaten here 2 nights in a row cos it was so good. My husband is carnivore so we struggle to find a good place lace. This is awesome.”

“This is a perfect place...buzzy trattoria style downstairs with a great bar, lively outdoor seating and a beautiful bar. And white table clothes, proper dining room upstairs. The front of house service is polite and efficient, the star is the food and it shines. The entire menu looks excellent. We had the homemade Ragu, homemade pasta, it was superb. We also ordered a picannte pizza which was expertly made, like you'd eat in Napoli. We also shared zucchini fritti and a side salad which were both well done. Simple, good food. This will become a regular. It's tops.”

Great little place too and the lady who served me was lovely and very enthusiastic and passionate about the food. “Nicely snuggled in the Park Plaza hotel on the ground floor close to the parliament hence great place to have quick meetings and a lovely cup of coffee. Easy quick service and a very tidy and organised place.”

This was a fantastic Wetherspoons, admittedly the wait for food was a little longer than I’m used to at Wetherspoons locations but otherwise this was an amazing experience. High quality tasty food, lovely atmosphere and the friendliest staff I think I’ve ever encountered in any pub. Absolutely recommended!”

“Booked the beer garden last minute for my husband's surprise birthday party and everyone had the best time! The beer garden is a fab spot on a sunny day and the staff were incredibly accommodating. They allowed us to decorate the area we booked in advance, stored our cake, and checked in throughout the afternoon/evening to make sure everything was going to plan. The food, especially the sliders, went down a treat. Would highly recommend for any parties/big group gatherings! Looking forward to our next visit.”

“Last week, my husband, our kid a nd I visited this spot during our London trip—£25 for 1.5 hours was so worth it! There were tons of fun things to do. We played the claw machines over and over, and that excitement of trying to grab a toy was awesome. We even ended up with two rubber balls—such a nice little win! All the staff here were amazing. The albanian manager was really friendly as well. Shoutout to Paulina too—she was lovely! We’ll 100% come back the next time we’re in London. Highly recommend it for families!”
