Replaced screen within a day of dropping it off and doesn’t charge ridiculous money for the service compared to what so many of the other shops were quoting. “Booked an appointment via phone. Matt was understanding of my situation and was able to facilitate me leaving the car the night before. I was sent video updates during the work and I was able to pick the car up in the afternoon. I only came across MCR via the reviews and I must say Matt's experience and knowledge was comforting in knowing my car was in good hands. The dreaded wet belt etc was changed in my MK3 Focus EcoBoost. The price was affordable in comparison to other 'specialist' in changing wet belts.”

“This has become one of my favourite neighbourhood spots. The atmosphere is warm and cosy- perfect for an evening catch-up or an easy mid-week dinner. The bacon risotto is absolutely delicious and easily one of the best dishes on the menu - creamy, comforting, and full of flavour. The starters could be a little stronger, but everything else more than makes up for it. The service is friendly and unhurried, and the overall vibe feels authentically Italian. A lovely local gem that always makes you feel welcome.”

“UPDATE: I’ve been craving their crusty burgers so returned today and am pleased to say it was as good as my first experience. Some of best burgers I’ve had in UK. ORIGINAL Perfectly executed, simple, double smash burger. Well-crusted thin patties, fried onions, pickles & mustard, no-nonsense bun and good fries, £10. Searched for ‘burgers near me’ and this great find popped up. Still thinking about the great beefy flavour two hours later. Nothing fancy, just tasty.”

“A very clean place and a very pleasant ambiance. The burgers we had were delicious, ai am sorry I didn’t take a photo of them as we started eating straight away. The manager and the workers there are very friendly and open, also the place has a lot of potential for bigger parties or events. The ingredients in the food are very fresh and the sauces are home made! Very rare thing in restaurants nowadays! The meat inside the burgers was even better cooked! Don’t even compare it to Mc.Donalds or any other places. A very very nice experience for our first time in a “Wimpy” place. Thanks!”

From the moment I walked in, I noticed how clean and well-maintained the place was. The modern décor and inviting atmosphere made it a comfortable spot to enjoy a meal. One standout feature is the glass wall showcasing the kitchen, which gives you a clear view of how clean and organised everything is—this transparency really adds to the overall dining experience. The food, of course, was the highlight. My doner kebab was absolutely on point, bursting with flavour, and perfectly cooked. The combination of tender meat, fresh ingredients, and delicious sauces was simply spot on. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their food, and it’s clear why they’ve earned such a strong reputation. I also want to give a special mention to the service. The staff, particularly the young lady who served me, was friendly, efficient, and attentive. She ensured that everything was to my liking and provided great recommendations. It’s always nice to feel well taken care of when dining out, and this visit was no exception. Overall, my experience at German Doner Kebab was fantastic, and it’s safe to say I’ll be coming back again soon. “Stuff changed some time ago so I went back and I must admit that everything is good as it should. I have been few times since my review and every time I was happy with my purchase, so I believe it's time to change review. I like papa johns a lot, was really happy there is one on high street. And was going there few times a month. Today have ordered 2 pizzas. Waited only to find out one of my pizzas was given away. They asked to wait while they will make a new one. After waiting for 35 minutes end up with one warm pizza(coldish by the time we got home)and one hot. Very cheap especially that it cost them almost nothing to make one. Have asked also to get garlic and herbs dip got garlic only. Sad , terrible service. Next time Alforno, Melisi, pizzas express, domino's manor, anything but this place.”
