1145 The Great West Surgery
βThe surgery has been improved significantly with new management and better services provided by the staff that work there. I recently went to the surgery and was surprised by how well maintained and inviting the atmosphere felt when you first walk in. The staff were very friendly towards me and there wasn't any delays at all. The facilities were beyond my expectations and I was certainly not expecting it to be so luxurious. Everything went smoothly and efficiently from the moment I walked in through the front doors of the surgery up to the point of getting a prescription. I highly recommend this surgery and I appreciate the excellent service provided by the staff there upon my visit.β

βHad an appointment at 3/4/2022 at 3:30pm, got there around 3:06pm since I had nothing better to do and there was a queue of maybe 4-5 families which was no surprise since I was early but by the time it was my turn to test I'd say I was pretty much on time with my appointment. It was a quick mouth swab when I thought they would put it up your nose but I'm not complaining. I suggest if you don't want to wait in queue too long take the earliest appointment you can get and make the appointment ahead of time and if you need to find somewhere to park drive to sainsburys carpark and its probably a 2-5 minute walk from there to the health center because there is very rarely any parking spaces left on the street, and you would be lucky to park near it if ever. Overall, quick once you get in the building and friendly staff when I went in for my pcr test. EDIT!!!!! Also cannot stress this enough but people saying you don't need the app because they will send your results by email.. Not always the case because I needed a test done 24 hours before my flight and anxiously waited for my email until I checked my app around 9:45pm. Turns out my results were not sent to me by email but through the app but I think I do remember the lady saying the results can be checked on the app.β

βDear all, I would like to take the opportunity to review the above centre. I visited the centre twice over two months. Visited two different departments. Physio and the mental health assessment. I am so pleased with all the staff members at the reception, the Dr and the physio. They are very professional people. They assisted me with all that I and my children needed. Explained every aspect of the care and involved me and the children in every decision in care planning for my children, on both occasions. They were calm and very patient with my children. They answered all my and my children's questions.. I found them to be very humble and respectful towards our needs. Thank you to all the team for running this centre and recognising the different needs of different patients individually.β

βWent there to get a blood test done. I parked at the king georges and walked to barley court which was 3/5min walk. Barley court did have its own parking but i couldnt find its entry. There wasnt any queues outside so i buzzed and the nurse let me in. There were 4 ppl at the station n everyone was ready to receive patients n keep things moving. It was clean inside n i didnt see anything that would put me off. The nurse who took my blood was friendly n sweet.β

βI had an appointment with Spiro for a breathing test. The place is easily accessible and has parking outside. (Ringo payment) The receptionist was lovely patient with me because I couldnβt speak very loudly being out of breath. I was early and that was also not a problem. I sat and waited and watched the receptionist who was so good at her job. Dealing with one difficult man who was trying to jump the queue so politely and yet did not allow him to jump in early. This young lady wore a scarf. The lady who did my breathing test was kind and took her time, she was very affirming and good explanation of the process. Her bedside manner was fabulous. If I wasnβt moving to Norfolk soon I would move there for my Drβs.β

βI wanted to leave a positive review for this GP Surgery as I was recently contacted by Sarah regarding booking me in for my Asthma review and flu jab. Whilst on the phone to Sarah I explained I had an issue and would she be able to assist me with this. Without hesitation she told me what I needed to do so that she could help me. Once Iβd done as asked she called me straight back and even spoke to my GP Dr Bolton for me. My problem was resolved and sorted by Sarah and Dr Bolton the very next day. I canβt thank these 2 lovely staff members enough for all their help. It saved me a lot of stress and time. Sarah and Dr Bolton you are both a credit to your surgery. Thank you.β

βThe Rowlands Pharmacy are the closest pharmacy to my workplace and I popped in on the off chance they could help because I had forgotten to take my tablet before leaving home that morning and wanted to know if I could purchase a tablet then and there and not miss a dose.
