The accommodation was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with plenty of room for my rabbits to hop around and play. One thing that really stood out to me was the personalized attention that my rabbits received. he even provided fresh vegetables to ensure that my rabbit's diet was healthy and balanced. “Our standard dachshund, Sniper, recently stayed with Sam and her daughter, Daisy, for five nights whilst we were away. He received excellent care and did not appear to miss us. Sam sent us regular messages and photo/ video updates about Sniper, who was very happy - slept well, ate well and thoroughly enjoyed the company of the other dachshunds and of Sam and Daisy. I particularly liked the fact that the dogs were walked in the fields each day, also the play activities and stimulation which Sam incorporated into their days. We collected a very contented dachshund.”

“This place has many friendly staff, each cat had it own pen, which was clean and spacious. Are cat has been going all its life when ever we are away. He loves it. Covid stuff is handled really well. No need to get out of the car. ONE way system is in place to drive through. Very organized, and helpful. Highly recommend. Been using for years. Best I've ever seen, or found.”

The staff were very attentive to her and made sure that she was fed and watered every day, while also ensuring her room was cleaned and she was given the opportunity to stretch her legs. They also picked up on her personality straight away and knew how to handle her. It was her first time at the cattery, and both I and her were very nervous, but the staff there made sure she was safe and sound the whole time. “The nicest couple I've ever met running a brilliant comfy hotel opposite a beautiful ancient historical park. Free car park. Plus they can have a decent conversation and very knowledgeable about the area and further afield. Modern clean showers phone tv and many drinks snacks on offer too.”

“Very clean, bright, warm, in a great location for the nearby tube station (5 minutes walk away) with helpful staff accessible 24/7. My apartment had a bedroom, kitchen/living/dining area, decent sized bathroom and I felt it was much better value than an hotel. All necessary facilities provided: hairdryer, ironing board and iron and in the kitchen a good sized fridge, a cooker and microwave. Although it was central, it wasn't noisy. I always travel with earplugs, but didn't need them. The mattress was comfortable too - nearly forgot to mention that crucial detail!”

You should definitely consider staying in here in ealing if visiting London. It is a charming town with extremely easy access to the city.”

The only suggestions I'd make are putting better lighting near either of the mirrors in the room, as applying make up was a little difficult without decent light. Also putting a few more plant milk sachets as they are so small and two for two guests wasn't sufficient. Everything else was smashing and I would highly recommend.”

“Very nice standard of rooms, large and clean. Very quiet, especially in inside rooms away from the road. Breakfast was good but as it wasn't busy it was sat under the heaters waiting so didn't feel as fresh as it could have. Bus stop outside or a 10 min walk to the Tube. Staff were pleasant and I will certainly stay again. Good value at the time of booking as had an offer on.”

“We stopped for a snack and drinks. We had duck spring rolls which were served beautifully with sweet chilli sauce and salad with a mustard dressing. Probably the best spring rolls I’ve had – thin crispy pastry with a delicious duck filling The drinks were nice. I asked for lime and soda with bitters (where I am used to lemon lime and bitters in Australia) which they accommodated and it was quite delicious. A nice setting good service and a helpful, friendly girl behind the bar. Recommended highly.”

“Stayed 1 night following an in house party. We had asked for a twin room and were assured our allocated room was a twin. It wasn't but as we were only staying 1 night didn't want to make a fuss. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay. Hotel is modern, well decorated and modern. The rooms are well appointed with hair dryer and safe available. Breakfast was lovely with variations to the menu no trouble at all. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.”

“I know the Dog and Fox very well but had never stayed in the hotel. It was a great decision, a beautifully comfortable bed, spacious and clean room . Breakfast was also excellent with multiple choices of continental and traditional dishes on offer. All cooked dishes were prepared to order and piping hot. My stand out part of the visit were the staff, highly trained, cheerful and helpful. In the bar, restaurant and reception they didn’t fail to impress. I have to also mention housekeeping , although I didn’t see them it was obvious they were working hard in the background to create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Can’t recommend enough and will definitely be back .”
