She gathered necessary information in a preliminary visit and asked us to forward any items we didn't have to hand. She sent us drafts by email so that we could check and if necessary amend, and then had us return to finalise the documents prior to signatures and witnessing.”

“Similar to other reviews, had taken my 15 year old diesel vehicle to 2 other garages. Both with different (more expensive) diagnosis. Thought was the end for my car but SAS were great, identified the problem and had it fixed at a reasonable cost. Great troubleshooters and even advised on other potential issues in the future which need addressing. Top garage.”

“Bought 6 ember tetras here about a month ago. Despite it being nearly closing time, the staff were ever so helpful and friendly. They also showed genuine care for the fishes - they ensured that I had a fully matured fish tank of reasonable size and setting. They also gave me recommendations on where I could get good Indian Almond Leaves to manage the pH. I also saw them reject an inexperienced customer who wanted to keep fishes in a fish bowl (the fish will likely suffer), and for that, I highly respect them. The ember tetras are doing well - sorry for the algae-stained glass in the very bad picture!”

“Rooms were great. No one on Reception a couple of times when we needed help, key card wouldn't let one of us access our room. Quickly resolved when receptionist appeared. Beefeater next door - we had poor service one evening, very slow service by a sullen, unfriendly even rude waitress. Everyone else was friendly, we were just unlucky. We had a show to get to, we did it by skin of our teeth despite having 1 hour 20 minutes to eat. Had to fetch our own menus at one point to try and hurry things up a bit. Food was good just let down by our waitress.”

“Stayed here on business and I noticed straight away was the staff were so attentive and very welcoming. Really nice after a long day travelling! Very relaxing bar area lined in tall glass windows with a very creative bookcase. I didn’t eat there but the restaurant did look good. My room was lovely and comfortable. Clean for sure with a bath and shower which was welcome. Definitely somewhere I would stay again not just for the hotel but also the convenience of being able to walk and eat at very close by places.”

“So we made a mistake when booking (rather than the 21st to 23rd had booked 20th to 22nd!) and panicked when we arrived about the night that hadnt been booked. The manager put us in the room we had booked and was able to book us into a different room for the following night which we were able to transfer into early in the morning. The breakfast is amazing. The pool is incredible. Special shout out to the pool attendant who let me and my special needs child into the pool close to closing time. We weren't that thrilled with the areas of Guildford we explored, but would return purely for this hotel, fantastic”

“Excellent work was done by the trained technicians. It wasn't until the sofa was cleaned that we realized how filthy it actually was. Even when I let my dog walk on it, I couldn't believe how much mud and grime he tracked in. They performed an amazing job of eliminating stains, some of which we weren't even aware had been there to begin with!”

“We had a first class experience with Jethin as soon as we arrived at the showroom. He listened carefully to our requirements, did not try and hard sell anything and guided us through our purchase. Within one hour we had secured a really good deal, and within 2 weeks we were able to collect our car. On collection day, the receptionist showed us to the comfortable seating area and encouraged us to use the coffee/tea machine whilst we waited. Jethin took the time to show us the set up in the car and patiently answered our questions. His communication throughout was excellent and would highly recommend visiting him and the showroom.”

“I’ve been coming to Mori Sushi now for the best part of 2 years. Each time the food is so consistently delicious and of excellent quality. For example the Gyu Teriyaki Don is our go to, it’s fresh, tasty and highly nutritious we explored the menu and everything is just top notch. I also order the sides such as Takoyaki, this is probably the most amazing side I have ever had. It’s so clean, fresh, tasty and sits on our stomachs with satisfaction every time. The service and experience is another thing, we are always well treated, looked after and made to feel part of the mori sushi regulars. It’s our go to and we love it.”

“The team at Artizan is truthfully by far the best supplier we have worked with throughout the entire renovation process. Our designer Rosie is excellent in her communications, attention to details and creative ideas, and she really brought our dream kitchen and other room designs into reality. When encountering tricky design/ installation issues due to the room layout, the team including also Nik and Alex would not settle for the second best option, and would always spend time to present the best design forward. You really can count on Artizan for a great design for your family needs, smooth project management and neat installation on an affordable budget - even our builders were impressed by their output. “I have just completed a treatment with Dr Mina to have front crowns replaced and other work to improve my smile! I am always very impressed with the level of professionalism and care that is shown by the practice. Dr Mina spent extra time ensuring that the end result would be the best it could be, consulting with me all the way through, co-ordinating with the lab and even arranging me to visit personally for the best colour match up. She followed up promptly with any minor concerns and her approach is always one of kindness and care combined with real attention to detail. “I have been visiting M and R barbers for at least 8 years now. Myself and my son have a re-occurring appointment with Raff or one of his skilled barbers. I have found the staff patient and accommodating with regards to my own time keeping and the temperament of my once toddler-aged son. Raff is passionate about his craft and engaging in conversation. I have enjoyed the beverages on offer during my many visits. I find the process almost automated due to the ease of picking a slot on the app and a barber waiting upon our arrival. We have regular haircuts and I have now added a beard trim to the booking. My father-in-law who lives in the north of the country still books in to see Raff during his regular visits(which is a review unto itself) There is always a smile on our faces leaving the barbers due to its relaxing environment and quality haircuts. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend M and R barbers to anyone in the Guildford area.”
