“What a great little find! Well, the pub isn’t little by any stretch but very nicely decorated, with impeccable staff and food. All plates were generous in size, kids meal also quite bit with loads of chunky chips! Great meeting point with lovely views of the lakes.”

“I recently held a wake for my late mother at The Queen’s Head, and I cannot praise the team enough. From start to finish, the staff were incredibly attentive, compassionate, and professional. They truly went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly during such an emotional time. The food was outstanding—beautifully presented, full of flavour, and served in generous portions. There was a fantastic variety, and it was all so well received by our guests—it disappeared in no time! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff made everyone feel comfortable and cared for. I wholeheartedly recommend The Queen’s Head to anyone looking for a venue to host a wake or any special gathering. “I had a great experience at this great pub located just off Esher high street. I had great communication from Liam to confirm my booking of 20 guys. He arranged a room for us upstairs, took table service for lunch and we were so well cared for by Sam. He was very attentive to us. The whole group had great things to say about their food. “The lovely pub hosted our daughter's 40th Birthday party in the side room off the main bar. We were able to decorate the room and also to have a local guitarist entertain us together with a fab face painter. Our party was able to order yummy food and drinks from the bar. “Went in for a lunch deal, which at £6.99 is quite reasonable for burger and fries. Burger was delicious, generous portion of fries, and plenty of sauce on the side. Was cooked to order so was hot and fresh. Really tasty. Will be back again for lunch.”

“I had had a busy day about in Bromley and arrived early from that to a reservation I'd made that day for early dinner (18:15). Prices were properly reasonable for such fine dining. The presentation of each course was spot on, I'd even say en place, buuuuut not my element at this time. The maître d' was professional and courteous. I felt a bit under-dressed but braved through and they brought no attention to this and treated me. At some spirit auguery advice, my royal self reluctantly avoided steak this evening, going instead from chef's suggestion menu, the seared scallops and then sea bass. The scallops were grilled, and tender rather than rubbery as I sometimes 'expect' of scallop. I'd had some grilled halloumi around lunch tiem, and joked that scallops would be right out to pair with halloumi. I think there is this. The sea bass were served seared with skin on, and a sweet tomato salsa, with a potato tower of some kind. Service were quiet and excellent. I did not once feel rushed and I NEEEEED to return for some côte de boeuf or rib-eye some day soon. This should be written. I'll be needing dress better suited. “Their pizza is very good trust me! And their price is also cheap but the most amazing thing is their wedges is also damn tasty! Their pizza quality and price is affordable . Their food quality is awesome .their pizza dough is very soft and crunchy. We ordered pepperoni pizza and chicken pizza 2 7” inch pizza and wedges (actually wedges were so nicely toasted and tasty that I forget to take that picture and yes if they can up the quantity of wedges then it will be much better.”

“Highly recommend this Thai restaurant, the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The food are also very good! Our bill came out to be around £68 (3 people) but we did order a lot of food. Will surely visit again someday!”

“This is the happiest I've ever been at a hotel. Stayed for 6 nights. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Pillows were fantastic (two size options - yay!). The staff is so friendly. Easy check-in and check out. You are close to your neighbors but I didn't hear anyone. The window opened all the way for fresh air. There was also the Eur slot vent with the option to open or close, and an A/C (though I didn't try the A/C). The TV included a handful of channels and the option to login with Netflix. The blackout curtains worked really well (helpful for jet lag). Hot water was hot, water pressure was great. Waterfall and hand held showerheads. The location is walkable to two different train stations. Even in the middle of the night people were walking the streets regularly. It felt very safe. Local pubs had friendly vibes. Hotel bar had travelers in it regularly working or sipping on cocktails. Room came with cotton rounds (yay!), Qtips, shower cap (yay!), hair dryer, body wash, shampoo, conditioner from a good brand. Iron was available on request. Laundry services are a one-day turnaround, drop off morning, get it back at night. Sink basin closes should you need to hand wash. Complimentary tea and coffee in the room. The tea was particularly yummy. The coffee was Nepresso with a variety of pods. The fridge included snacks and alcohol for cost, prices listed. The room also has a safe. The whole hotel was very clean. To set expectations, the room is smaller compared to maybe what someone in the US would be used to (it's London after all). Hangers and one small drawer for your clothes. No full length mirror and no where to place anything in the shower (ie your razor). The shower's a bit tight. No lifts (again it's London) but they are happy to help you with your bags. This place just had a great vibe and getting a good night's sleep is such a privilege when traveling. Highly Recommend.”

“I popped into The White Hart in Crystal Palace and was blown away by their Sunday roast. The food was delicious, portions were generous, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Anastasiia looked after us and made the experience even better — so attentive and friendly. Definitely one of the best Sunday roasts I’ve had in London!”

“I visited The Vurger Co for a quick meal after work and the experience has been very positive. I found the place on HappyCow so I knew that it was entirely vegan, which is already amazing. It's located in a shopping mall so it's only takeaway but as it's part of a food hall one can always find a table to seat. The use of technology to order was good & efficient, and the customer service was friendly. My burger was great, fries so so. I will certainly return to The Vurger Co when I happen to be in Canary Wharf again and I would highly recommend it.”

Enjoyed a garden BBQ, hosted by the manager who didn't set any prices just asked for donations to support the pub. I felt this was a great indicator of things to come for this place and I'm looking forward to returning when I'm in the area again.”

“Gorgeous, spacious, quiet and comfortable room and lovely pub. The only suggestions I'd make are putting better lighting near either of the mirrors in the room, as applying make up was a little difficult without decent light. Also putting a few more plant milk sachets as they are so small and two for two guests wasn't sufficient. Everything else was smashing and I would highly recommend.”
