“My wife attended Confidential, Surbiton on 21st July. We both wish to record our great appreciation for the help Violet gave us - despite the clinic being busy, she was so patient and charming and went above and beyond the call of duty. My wife was already stressed when she arrived (imminent house move etc etc) and was even more flustered when she realised she had got the appointment date wrong! Violet calmed her down, arranged for her to be fitted in with her own dentist ((Tarique) and also arranged further appointments. I waited outside in our car with our dog - Violet came out twice to see if we were all right (it was a hot day) and whether we wanted to come in and offered drinks of water. “Cannot fault these guys. From start to finish they were quick, clean and reassuring. The job took 2 days because of complications with my old boiler setup. The first day, two lads came over to uninstall the boiler (can’t remember their names sorry - but they both seemed great!) and then David came over to begin the install. David is a stand-up guy. Really genuinely lovely, and very knowledgeable. The second day Riley was over to assist, and was also really lovely and explained to me how to use my new system which I have set up tonight. The job was finished to a high standard and the guys cleaned up after themselves. Fantastic service and I’m really grateful to them for taking such a professional level of care.”

“Had a really good experience with Olsi after having my hair get increasingly blonde, damaged, and flat by another local salon when I was actually trying to go back towards my natural, slightly darker colour, so I decided to try here based upon their reviews. He took time to talk me through the highlights I wanted, using a colour chart and ensuring I understood the result and agreed the approach, and didn't feel like part of a production-line high volume generic salon. The result is better than I hoped for and I will definitely be back as Olsi is a true professional and clearly understands not just the immediate outcome but how it will change over the coming weeks. “Adding more context as it is deserved: The team at Vet4life are fantastic every time we go there with our tripod rescue cat. The practice is always immaculately clean (not easy when you handle animals), the staff are wonderfully friendly and professional and every time we have a question, we're given an answer with patience, understanding and elaboration where needed. In short, it's no surprise its such a popular vet for the area and I would thoroughly recommend using them (special shout out to Jenny - our cat's favourite)”

“I ordered a set breakfast here, they were happy to substitute mushrooms for beans; it arrived quickly and was well cooked and a generous size. The service was good, the only sad thing was that the place was empty apart from me. Recommend this place if you want a good, honest breakfast, the rest of the menu looks pretty extensive too.”

“Mouth reconstruction involving braces then 7 crowns and 2 implants. Dr Simin has been amazing. It has been a long journey but the care and the attention I received has been incredible. Not to mention how good my new mouth looks. Dr Simin considered every option in deciding the best course of action for my teeth and always having my financial constraints in mind. I am very happy with the outcome. I cannot recommend this dentist enough.”

“Charming restaurant less than 5 mins from Surbiton Rail station and opposite Sainsbury’s. The old Post Office building has been repurposed as a restaurant, fitted out in a sustainable way with genuine Turkish designs and materials. My server had a Masters in restaurant design so was knowledgeable and happy to point out some of the features. The coffee was excellent and the Nutella and sea-salt cookie was something I’d never tasted before and had a light and delicate texture. Good access for wheelchairs and my go to coffee stop in Surbiton when on foot or a motorcycle or bicycle with parking right outside the door.”

“Used to come here occasionally as a child growing up in the 70s/80s. Moved back to Surbiton with my own family several years ago and was so happy to see they were still going strong. Have been coming here ever since. Dishes taste fantastic, quality is consistent, prices are very reasonable, preparation is fast and staff are friendly. Tried other Chinese takeaways in the area but none of them come close. A real jewel. Bravo, guys.”

“Dropped my car off at the required time and it was straight in for MOT. That normally never happens, so this was a great start. The 2 technicians Jamie and Kasun were brilliant and worked like a well oiled machine together (pardon the pun). I received a call from Roy the branch manager to update me and what I required for the car to pass the MOT. I signed off on the work to be done and was picking up the car by 5:30pm that evening. What an absolutely superb experience from the boys at Halfords Autocentre. Roy and his team were courteous, friendly and professional on all contacts. Well done to the team and this gave me so much confidence that I am booked in for a full service next week. Cheers fellas.”
