“I stayed in Apartment 13 (one bedroom) for a few nights in August 2019. What a great apartment! It was clean, modern bathroom, basic kitchen facilities - everything you needed for a short stay! There was even a laundry available to use on the ground floor. The check in and out process was so easy. You get a message the day before with a door code and then your keys are waiting for you in a letter box inside the building, you just drop your keys back here when you leave. There are several deadlocks to the apartment door making the apartment very secure. Yes there is no lift and depending on which floor your apartment is on you may have to walk up a few flights of stairs - but it is the same for all apartments in this area. If you are wanting a lift you either need to choose another location or increase your budget and stay in one of the hotels in the area. I had no issues carrying my suitcase up the stairs. The location was fantastic for exploring London. It was walking distance to Regents Park, Paddington and Marble Arch. Edgeware Rd station was a five minute walk. Paddington Station a ten minute walk which was perfect for jumping on the Heathrow Express to get to the airport. Plenty of restaurants, bars and supermarkets within walking distance. I was more than happy with my stay here. I think the apartments are reasonably priced for the standard and location. I would not hesitate in recommending these apartments and would definitely stay here again on my next visit to London.”

“Our meal was 2 hours of sheer food escapism. From the minute we arrived we were welcomed and felt it.the entire team were incredibly attentive and welcoming, but not overbearing. The food was exceptional, exciting and innovative and for the first time in a longtime my wife and I just basked in the amazing food and ambience. The whole setup was so wonderful the time flew by. The cocktails were incredible too. We were never without anything and we left feeling like we had gotten a bargain. Also Monica walked through the restaurant and said hello after I waved like a dork. Thank you so much.”

“Only had the desserts and tea, but they were very enjoyable. The location had a nice ambiance. Mango sorbet and salted caramel gelato were delicious with strong flavors. The tea was as expected. The server was very kind and helpful.”

“I didn't know quite what to expect when I went there for a Red Letter Day 3 course meal with free flowing prosecco. I certainly was not disappointed! From the moment we entered, the staff were exceptional. They were all incredibly polite and welcoming. The food was delicious, and the portions were decent. As for the free-flowing prosecco, I honestly thought that there would be a catch, but they were incredibly generous with it! The restaurant was lovely inside, and once it filled up with some customers, there was a great atmosphere. The service was exceptional, and Amandeep in particular was incredibly helpful. I would highly recommend a visit!”

“The hummus was complimentary. I personally prefer it thicker and more aromatic, so I didn't enjoy it that much :) It was more like a dip than traditional hummus. My mum makes it really well, so I guess I'm a bit picky when it comes to hummus :) However, the Turkish tea was really nice and of good quality. I tried the spinach and cheese börek. I honestly have no idea why this is the only type of börek you find in almost every Turkish restaurant in the UK. The taste was okay, not bad, but it could definitely be better. I wish Turkish restaurants offered more traditional starters like su böregi or sigara böregi. They served it with a sweet and sour sauce, which made it feel a bit artificial to me. On the bright side, the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and the service was excellent. I've heard their kebabs are really good, so I'll definitely try them next time. The rice pudding was 10/10, I absolutely loved it. They used coconut and white almonds, which added a really nice touch. I definitely recommend it to everyone.”

“I used to go to Embargo for a night out in my 20's. I have just turned 50 and decided that I wanted a private party, dancing the night away with my friends who were flying in from all over the world. We met with Rania Milat who is the Sales and Marketing Manager and she agreed to letting us take the whole place over for a night in January 2025. We worked together on the theme and my vision for the night and Rania went ahead and sourced absolutely everything and came up with plenty of other suggestions she thought I might like (spoiler - I loved them all!). I cannot describe how perfectly everything ran, how great of a collaborator she is, especially given that I am not based in the UK so it was all done via WhatsApp. The whole crew who were there on the night from the DJ to the dancers to the musicians to the caterers to the bar tenders to the waiters were on point and all in line with the joyful vibe we were going for. But all the credit really goes to Rania for anticipating absolutely every need - always there to change out my drink, give me a tour of all the little details, collect and store gifts which she then brought to my hotel along with the cake and other mementos from the night. But possibly my favourite "touch" was when my feet could no longer handle my stilettos, she brought me a small carpet to dance on that also fit the theme of the party. I could not imagine this party being any better in any way and the feedback we have received from all of our guests were words like "best party ever" and "what a great venue". Our guest list (160 people) ranged from age 18 to 82 and everything in between, with the majority being 40's / 50's. Most people did not sit down all night (we were there for 8 hours) and were dancing and having the time of our lives. Rania and the whole team put in so much effort on our behalf and I could not be more grateful to them or thankful that we made the decision to go with Embargo Republica as the venue for this party.”

“Didn’t know what to expect but every expectation was exceeded. The show was insane, would recommend going for that alone. Shoutout to Brandon and the other promoter’s they were super accommodating, really nice atmosphere overall! Also security by the toilets and on the door to the smoking area were lovely too which isn’t something I see a lot of.”

“they ARE NOT a scam i dont understand why there are negative reviews. very far away from my house which i didnt realise when ordering so it took a while to arrive but it was worth the wait, it was some of the best sushi i have ever had (and iv'e had a lot). The ingredients tasted fresh and presentation was good”
