“First visit to this dentist, having a major fear of the dentist, something I had put off for a very long time. The quick and attentive service I received from the reception team was already 1st class. I had my appointment with Dr Syed he was absolutely brilliant and so very calming, informative but most of all reassuring. Would highly recommend him if you’re a nervous patient.”

“What a great little find! Well, the pub isn’t little by any stretch but very nicely decorated, with impeccable staff and food. All plates were generous in size, kids meal also quite bit with loads of chunky chips! Great meeting point with lovely views of the lakes.”

“This place surely isn't the biggest or most privately contained cafe in a hospital, but that really is the beauty of it. Run by volunteers, these people were wonderful to talk to, and not only to see them with the choice to dedicate this time, but simply considering how long some have lived for (e.g. age 92), and how good their health is. Onto the actual cafe! The price of food here from sandwiches to cafe drinks is the type of reasonable I am expecting and am so happy to see, when comparing to such, including the Costa in the hospital. In my opinion that includes the range of cakes, biscuits and bars too! Having my [veg] sandwhich toasted made it extra fulfilling, and the cappuccino was super! And it gets better: All profits made, go to a certain division of the hospital. More people should visit this cafe to appreciate the efforts devoted by volunteers here. Hospitals should have more affordable, lovingly run cafe's like this! Obviously that doesn't even have to be as a patient!”

“What looks like a little hidden away spa in Uxbridge high street is actually a big spa full of exciting and very reasonable priced treatments. I had Deluxe Normal Polish Manicure, I really liked the idea of this, as it included hand scrub, massage and hot towel.. and OMG it was brilliant. I've never had this treatment on my hands before, oh my hands felt and smelt amazing. The women used some amazing oils and scrubs. My nails..wow!!! The women did such a amazing job, my nails actually look like they are false.. lovely colouring, beautifully shaped and trimmed. Despite them being short on staff, only 2 people on, they were very efficient, really friendly and fantastic at their job.”

“After checking so many online mattresses and reading opinion I decide to check in shop. Prince was looking after us. We used many options. Check the machine for matching mattress and finally i choose one. Delivery was great. Unfortunately we had to change date for delivery and was no problem to do that. I just love my mattress. In the evening I am just looking reason to go earlier to bed, eg reading book.”

“An ideal campsite if you want to visit London without an expensive hotel stay. A short Uber ride into West Drayton where you can get a train or underground straight into the city. If London isn’t your bag then you can walk into Dunham (downhill but uphill on the way back) where the is a selection of eateries and shops. Closer to the site is a small airfield where there is the Biggles restaurant as well as a cafe.”

“I am a real novice when it comes to woodworking and the staff here was very helpful not only with providing me with the materials I need but also gave me an advice that the plywood I was buying may not be esthetically pleasing and suggested me a better one. It's my first woodworking project so I stuck to cheaper material as I will no doubt make a mess of this but for my future projects when I get better at it I'll buy the better one. All in all it was a pleasant experience and I think this may now be my new local hardware store rather than B&Q. These guys know their stuff!”

“I have had no issues with this store. I recently moved into the area, and this store is ideally located on the Long Lane stretch. It means it is in walking distance to me, and I pretty much find what I need every time. This store saves me travelling in a car, or even paying delivery charges when ordering online, therefore for me it works. The store is friendly, and it has a community feel.”

We've had issues with ordering mirrors , damage and refunds from other large retailers previously, which we told the guys here and they were very accommodating so we got what we wanted . “I love this place. I have a membership, and it has a huge amount of classes for fitness to choose. The pools are huge indoor and outdoor. Staff are friendly, and fitness teachers are amazing. Better is a great gym, and I would recommend it to everyone. During summer you can use the Lido pool and have yoga, aqua aerobics outside. There is a car parking with lots of spaces. If you are a member of the gym, you can pay a fee of £5 at the staff desk and your Registration will be added to the Council list and you will have up to 4h free in the car park for a year.”

“Golds gym is a great all rounder gym with great changing rooms which house a woman’s only jacuzzi, steam and sauna. The swimming pool is great and also has another jacuzzi. The gym has two floors of equipment, with an extensive weight selection. The classes are very popular so book early to avoid dis-appointment. The cleaners work really hard in keeping the gym lovely and clean and the staff are all very helpful and welcoming.”
