What really stood out to me was how friendly and approachable he was throughout my stay. It's clear that he takes pride in his work and cares about the guest experience. My stay felt smooth and stress-free. “We stayed here with out 4 children for a few nights due to work being done at our home. I can honestly say the staff that work here are absolutely incredible. They made our stay so easy & couldn’t do enough! From prepping a high chair at meal times before we even came down to making paper aeroplanes with our son & making them fly! The staff here genuinely make the place and I honestly can not thank them enough! The rooms were perfect very large (we had 2 family rooms) VERY clean.”

Local amenities good, petrol station, tesco, subway etc. Parking at the back of the travel lodge at a very reasonable price.”

“The perfect airport hotel. A complementary shuttle bus is available from the airport, which arrived to pick me up just outside the terminal. From my arrival in reception I was greeted by very attentive and friendly staff - the place has a feeling of being orderly and efficient yet still maintaining that relaxed atmosphere. My room had a comfortable bed, super soft sheets and was quiet - I couldn’t hear any noise from the airport. The selection and quality of the buffet breakfast was brilliant. Everything you could want prepared and displayed to an high standard. Mike and John were going over and above to ensure all guests had a great experience. Overall I was impressed with my stay, and glad I chose this hotel after a very long flight.”

“A very pleasant place to stay in a lovely location. I was looking for a proper holiday location within close driving distance of Tameside and Manchester, Christie's hospital in order to look after an elderly relative. I looked for a proper hotel with a dining room, a bar proper cooked food and somewhere dog friendly. I could not have found anywhere better. My elderly step-mum needed modified meals; small portions and easy-to-swallow foods. The chef and all the staff bent over backwards to make sure she was catered for - room service was no trouble. Only wish I'd had time to enjoy The Stables. I'll definitely be back.”

“Very warm welcome by a tall young man on reception and when checking out. AJ on the bar gave excellent service and chat a lovely lad. Food was really good and breakfast was great. Room was good a little to warm though and we couldn't turn it down or open a window. Enjoyed our stay very much.”

“After visiting Dreams and seeing the prices for a good quality mattress (£2000) we decided to rename it Nightmares... We then called in MIddleton Bed Centre and picked up a fantastic British made mattress for a fraction of the cost (£350). The matrees feels every bit the quality of the £2000 mattress.”

“Everything was as I expected for the style and location of an affordable hotel within a reasonable distance to the airport. Nothing fancy, but well maintained and had everything we'd needed. The front desk staff was very helpful and offered suggestions for where my husband could watch a "very important football game" (isn't every game important. lol) as well as restaurant options if we were wanting to eat outside of the hotel. We would definetly stay here again.”

“We only dine here, we don't stay in the hotel as we live locally. The Coach House is our favourite 'go-to' place to eat out. We'll be very sorry to see it close. “Not used for a while, but went in for a nosey. Quiet a selection of beds even though it's a small shop, i picked what I wanted a double ottoman, a nice matching headboard. They had a really nice double mattress and then had an even better one, which had a slight mark reduced, bought that. delivered on time, put the bed together, etc, and took our old one away (for a price, which was decent). Would thoroughly recommend Happy Days.”
