“I recently had Bury jet wash out to clean and re sand my blocked paved driveway which was full of weeds and looked a mess. They are so easy to deal with and the driveway now looks like new. All the mess it created was cleaned away and they even cleaned up the weeds around my walls on the pavement side.”

“Really helpful customer assistant. Wish I could remember his name. Called in late afternoon Saturday. Items we wanted assistant said had to be ordered; wouldn't arrive until midday Sunday. No good for us as we were leaving the caravan site Sunday morning. Then something came into his mind and he looked on computer and the items were in stock in the Bolton store. Said we could pay and then go off and collect them immediately. Brilliant. Did this. Saved us having to drive much further distance to our local Screwfix when we got home. Many thanks”

“I went to the shop with a good idea of what I wanted to buy. I was given good advice and had a nice chat with the 2 blokes in there. This is the kind of sports shop that every town used to have. You can't beat face to face advice and being able to see and touch what you are buying. They stock a wide range of equipment. Brilliant.”

Once in with the vet for my cat’s appointment, she gave him a full health check and his vaccination. She was caring and very helpful. “Very highly recommended. This has to be the nicest Indian meal I’ve had in a very long time. Brilliant service from very helpful, friendly staff, it’s also reasonably priced. Piping hot food that is of a high standard. The portions aren’t too big, but enough to be able to enjoy everything we ordered. The garlic naan is so good, as are the curries. Very clean throughout, including the toilets, which I find incredibly important.”

“Great place looks a lot better on the inside quite a surprise. Staff nice and friendly Food was tasty Steak Baguette needed a bit more cheese was dry near the end and peppers need a bit of finesse to chunky but I enjoyed it. Gravy was a bit weak pie was nice”

“A very pleasant place to stay in a lovely location. I was looking for a proper holiday location within close driving distance of Tameside and Manchester, Christie's hospital in order to look after an elderly relative. I looked for a proper hotel with a dining room, a bar proper cooked food and somewhere dog friendly. I could not have found anywhere better. My elderly step-mum needed modified meals; small portions and easy-to-swallow foods. The chef and all the staff bent over backwards to make sure she was catered for - room service was no trouble. Only wish I'd had time to enjoy The Stables. I'll definitely be back.”

“The lady was so helpful, I couldn't decide which ring to go for, she suggested one looked more elegant than the other and it turned out to be the cheaper of the 2, very genuine, customer service excellent, I went back the next day as the ring was too big (my hands were very warm in the shop) and she exchanged it fir a smaller size. “We popped by to browse around the shop for car seats and prams. Laura was super helpful and on top of that she mentioned an antenatal course held in the store. We booked it and highly recommend it to expectant parents (great value!). The course is led by Rachel, an experienced midwife, an absolute star and wonderful woman. The classes are so well organised, informative and all in a lovely atmosphere. All thanks to Bashy, the shop owner, Rachel and Lauren. Thank you so much ladies for making our journey richer in this lovely experience.”

“Highly recommended. Have a gold twisted rope necklace which has 2 strings of white gold balls wrapping around it. One of these strings had come adrift, not for the first time. Went to 2 high street jewellers on the rock who said could not be repaired despite one of them having repaired it previously. Found this place on the Wed, said no problem and had it repaired by Friday. Not only that the cost was a third of what the high street jeweller had previously charged me”

I was helped by the lovely avais today (I hope that's his name) he qas absolutely lovely. Very helpful and informative and not invasive or pushy. A credit to the store.”

Always a friendly face, and his calm and easy demeanour makes you feel relaxed, especially in a situation that for many people is very stressful. It feels like he genuinely takes an interest in his dental patients and in getting to know their personal circumstances. That attention to detail is unusual in many lines of work, so to find it someone who you know must see 1000s of patients and mouths in between your 6 monthly visits makes you feel like you are getting an exceptional service.”
