It is not a case of roulette and hoping for the one good GP, they are all very good and I can say Drs Thomson, Peet and Malpas really understand women's health and go out of their way to make you feel heard and genuinely care.”

“I had reason to discuss my medication I put in a request for the pharmacist and I received a call from Zahid Iqbal. He was very patient and listened to what I had to say, which was a lot. He asked questions regarding the issue and was very thorough. I have spoken to him previously and he is very friendly whilst being professional. “I can’t possibly be going to the same clinic as most of these reviewers! Both the podiatry and district nurses teams are fabulous and have been fantastic with me whether it’s been home visits or clinic attendances since I came out of hospital in February - l won’t name individual nurses as I want to protect their privacy but be sure l know them. The receptionists are just gorgeous and forever helpful, going out of there way for patients and keeping you updated if you are awaiting PTS. You also wait very little time for your appointment and l have only been treated with kindness, respect and a smile on their faces. Just one point if you would indulge me; to the person who commented about the area being run down and the patients looking much like the area - how bloody dare you, what an absolute vile and narcissistic person you are! For the Grace of God.comes to mind. It’s my first time ever at the clinic and coming from working in an emergency department one thing l have never seen are patients being abusive and berating staff, no loud music from headphones or patients being loud on their phones - you should be ashamed of yourself with your outdated beliefs. Anyway guys, it’s a great place for your treatment here and all the staff are excellent. Apologies for the essay but I do get cross at people’s biases.”

“This is the first GP I've really loved being with, and as someone with multiple chronic conditions I couldn't praise them highly enough. This does mean I have experience with many Drs which can make communication easier for me, but I find all the team here perfectly reasonable. I also will say you must request appts through the app at 8 am as is generally standard, but no phone waits. I have had multiple conditions diagnosed here that are infamously under-diagnosed and ignored, for example especially with regards to female hormonal health. These are conditions I have spent up to 10 years visiting GPs about and bring turned away. The even use local anaesthetic for IUD insertions, before I requested! I have never found any of the doctors here dismissive. I've seen Dr Kandola, Dr Chaudri, Dr Hamza, Dr Collabella, Dr Chhoangalia, Dr Cooper, maybe even more. But I could not highly enough praise Dr Kidd. Both the care she offered and bedside manner were far above standard, and made some pretty horrific experiences absolutely tolerable. She does not sugar-coat either, she is truthful about what is uncomfortable and helps you get through it. Hailey Daniel has been fantastic to see as well. Both these staff have been very thorough to answer my questions and make sure my consent is informed. My meds get regularly reviewed. I get contacted about my necessary jabs. Script refills are done VERY promptly through the app too. The standard of GP receptionists in England seems to be dire, but I've always found those at the Arch to be pleasant and as helpful as they can given the NHS systems in place. They also have an option where you can keep your place in the phone queue for a callback, which I find great. I may often wait 10 mins for my appointment, again a factor of NHS conditions I believe. For Christ's sake they give out free fruit, I don't think they could do better if Jesus himself came down to heal the sick.”

“Called in this afternoon to give a blood sample for a routine health check. Now I'm not ordinarily phased by anything medical, but when it comes to giving blood, think 'Tony Hancock, The Blood Donor' (look it up on YouTube - comedy genius). Anyway, long story short, the Practice Nurse, Caron, was absolutely marvellous - put me completely at ease. Took the blood from the back of my hand - done and dusted within a matter of minutes. Can't praise her enough!”

“Honestly I love this GP. Everyone seems to complain about the receptionist but every time i’ve been in there i’ve never had an issue at all they’re all very kind and friendly and very well clued up too! There’s great doctors at this practice- however there is a very small minority of doctors maybe 1 or 2 that you would have to be very unlucky to get. Careless, dismissive and unhelpful - however once you know who to avoid cough Dr Watson cough and find a doctor you get along with and who cares which is most of them tbh, you will have a good experience. I’ve had a really tough time the last month and have had many appointments and they’ve always been so helpful and reassuring. Actually left one of my appointments with a smile just feeling so grateful for them helping me and being generally so lovely. Dr Price is the best i’ve come across she’s the best! I literally never write reviews but I was curious what other people thought and was genuinely shocked. The emergency appointment system is much better from when they used to make you log onto AskMyGP at 8am. Now you can call anytime from 8am to around 12 noon and then that’s when they will start to triage all of their appointments in order or priority for that day. Much fairer, don’t have to be first in the queue just have to have a priority issue. Even routine appointments are quite good now too, longest I waited for an appointment on a routine basis was around 14days. Good for a routine appointment. The late evening appointments eg at 19:30 are a really good idea and very helpful. Only downside is the pharmacy is closed at those times so you’d have to wait till the following morning to pick it up from the pharmacy downstairs. Overall great practice par the couple bad apples.”

“We have been registered here for 4 years, and especially for children, we are usually able to get appointments on the same day. For adults, appointments may take a bit longer, but overall, things move quickly compared to the rest of the UK. Everyone is very friendly and organized.
