“The room was very clean and comfortable, basic amenities, bed very comfy. The house keeping was very good. The location for MRI hospital could not have been better. 10 minutes walk away. Local amenities good, petrol station, tesco, subway etc. Parking at the back of the travel lodge at a very reasonable price.”

“Very friendly, clean rooms, good TV channel selection. Cooked breakfast was decent. Only slight thing was the lack of an exit to the car park from the other side of the hotel which meant going back via reception, but I'm really being picky there. Staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Would absolutely recommend if you need to be in the area.”

“Really enjoyed my stay at the Manchester Portland Hotel by Sunday. The place has a cozy, welcoming vibe from the moment you walk in, and it feels like a nice little escape while still being right in the heart of the city centre. It’s super convenient for getting around, and the atmosphere makes it easy to relax after a busy day. I’d happily stay here again!”

“I had an excellent experience at the bar in the Marriott thanks to Wade. He’s one of those rare bartenders who makes you feel welcome from the moment you sit down. Professional, friendly, and genuinely attentive, Wade mixed fantastic drinks and offered great recommendations based on what I liked. What stood out most was his service—fast, thoughtful, and consistently upbeat, even when the bar got busy. You can tell he really enjoys what he does, and it shows in the atmosphere he creates. If you’re staying at the Marriott (or even if you’re just passing through), make sure to stop by the bar and ask for Wade. He’ll make your visit a great one. He really made my birthday so special x”

“Best hotel in Manchester! The room was absolutely amazing. Lovely and clean and a really good amount of room. The bar and grill staff are amazing, they gave me a complimentary cupcake and sang happy birthday to me. So sweet. Cannot praise this place enough, will definitely be coming back!”

    Premier Inn Manchester (Cheadle) hotel

    ★★★★☆ 4.1
    Open

“It is well located as it's close to the airport and motorway network around it. The parking facility is free and also the wifi. This is a saving of at least £10 compared to other similar chain of hotels. The room was of that of a 4* or at a stretch even a 5* standard. Very calm, restful place with a restaurant. I would recommend it without any hesitation.”

    Clayton Hotel Manchester Airport

    ★★★★☆ 4.1
    Open

“The perfect airport hotel. A complementary shuttle bus is available from the airport, which arrived to pick me up just outside the terminal. From my arrival in reception I was greeted by very attentive and friendly staff - the place has a feeling of being orderly and efficient yet still maintaining that relaxed atmosphere. My room had a comfortable bed, super soft sheets and was quiet - I couldn’t hear any noise from the airport. The selection and quality of the buffet breakfast was brilliant. Everything you could want prepared and displayed to an high standard. Mike and John were going over and above to ensure all guests had a great experience. Overall I was impressed with my stay, and glad I chose this hotel after a very long flight.”

“Salford Quays Travelodge is the best in the whole country! Our favourite place to stay. Perfect for getting around Manchester by tram, and ideally situated for The Lowry theatre. And lovely Ordsall Hall. This Travelodge is always comfortable, warm and welcoming. The staff are smashing. Big thanks this time to Lavinia, Kevin and the nice young man who kept our delicious breakfasts topped up - I'm so sorry I didn't get your name. Already looking forward to our next visit.”

“A very pleasant place to stay in a lovely location. I was looking for a proper holiday location within close driving distance of Tameside and Manchester, Christie's hospital in order to look after an elderly relative. I looked for a proper hotel with a dining room, a bar proper cooked food and somewhere dog friendly. I could not have found anywhere better. My elderly step-mum needed modified meals; small portions and easy-to-swallow foods. The chef and all the staff bent over backwards to make sure she was catered for - room service was no trouble. Only wish I'd had time to enjoy The Stables. I'll definitely be back.”

“Perfect over night stay before our early morning flight to Disney. We was checked in by Cibril (sorry if spelt wrong) who kindly gave us 2 drink vouchers for the bar. Another staff member asked if our little boy would like a biscuit and brought him out a shortbread. The rooms where lovely and spacious as well. Of course you could hear the planes but that didn't bother us, apart from that we thought it was a quiet hotel. The walk to the airport is between 5-10mins. Will definitely stay again.”

“There are hotels, and there are hotels, right? Equally, there are hotel staff, and there are hotel staff, with me so far? Well, the hotel does what it should, it’s clean, comfortable, well equipped and superbly located (if central Manchester is where you want to be?), so far so good! Now the staff, what a treat to be served so well by everyone, from the courteous cleaners that smiled and represented the company well, to the bar / reception staff that went above and beyond, really well done. In particular, the wonderful Nicole, service with the most wonderful smile and utterly professional, Accor, are you reading this ? She’s management material in the waiting right under your noses!! Dominic too was professional, smiling and uber efficient, the pair of them working together like a Swiss clock, effortless and confident, that’s how we guests like it, a big no, a Huge thanks for the stay! It gets another “Arnie” - a I’ll be back!”

“wonderful stay. Room was modern, comfortable, and more amenities than you might necessarily expect do the price. Didn’t even spend that much time in the hotel but it had a decent bar, breakfast and pool table downstairs. Excellent location right next to the station and trendy locations in Manchester. “Me and my grandparents stayed here for a weekend, we had one accessible room and one double room. The rooms were clean, the staff were absolutely lovely, and so accommodating, and the location whilst near a main road is perfect for going towards the city centre without having to stay right in the centre. The breakfast had a good range of choice from cereal, to fruit to toast and a fry up sort of thing. The man in reception on both the Friday night and the Saturday was absolutely amazing and I unfortunately didn’t get his name, but he deserves all the praise as he was just an absolute joy and definitely made the time spent any time sitting down in the bar area worth every second. Overall it was an amazing stay, and I quite liked the old style feel of it with the key instead of the typical card you swipe, made my grandparents feel at ease knowing it was a key lock”
