“Fantastic pub right in the heart of Manchester. Sam smiths brewery so you know exactly what you're getting. Larger for £2.80 is an absolute steal these days. Lovely country pub feel inside and good size beer garden. Can get busy when football and events on so plan accordingly!”

“Very impressed. Visited on a Sunday and took advantage of the 'Sunday Offer' menu which is £15.95 for two courses. Considering the size and quality of the meals this really is fantastic value. All food was excellent. Special mention to the girls waiting on, who were friendly and efficient. Will definitely return.”

“Went for Bottomless Brunch at 2pm on a Friday and the food and service by Georgia was excellent! Friendly and attentive and very happy to serve our table. Gave atmosphere 4 as it was quiet when we went and I must admit I did think it would be busy so can’t really say there was a ‘atmosphere’ but overall it being quiet didn’t spoil our time there.”

“The Smoker looks great after the recent renovation, but still retains its quaint, welcoming old coach House feel. The menu was superb. We each had something from the specials board, mine was chicken with potato cakes, topped with a mustard sauce. The food was excellent value, well presented and was really tasty. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, great beer selection. I'd recommend the smoker to anyone wanting a meal out with friends or family.”

“Last minute booking to stay the night. I wanted good pub food, comfortable bedroom and great service whilst being able to watch the football. This is what I got. Jordan behind the bar offered great service, Emma and Beth served me my food and Keira checked me into the hotel and constantly was checking i was happy and asking if she could help. Excellent service throughout. Greene King have a great team here.”

“Great experience at this place on a Wednesday almost noon to try some breakfast food. They prepared the eggs to our liking. The French toast was wonderful and maybe enough to share. The latte was ok but maybe sweet for my taste.”

“My recent restaurant visit was a truly delightful experience. I kicked things off with a wonderfully decadent chocolate gelato, which was rich and incredibly satisfying. To drink, I had a crisp Sprite, a refreshing choice that perfectly cut through the sweetness of the dessert. For an appetizer, I enjoyed some soft and flavorful focaccia bread, served with classic balsamic vinegar and fragrant garlic oil for dipping. Beyond the enjoyable food, the staff truly stood out. James was my server, and he was incredibly kind and polite throughout the evening. We had such a funny and engaging conversation, full of laughter and interesting banter. And a huge shout-out to Kelly, who was the chef! It's always great to know who's behind the delicious food, and it certainly tasted like it was made with skill and passion. Their warm personalities really enhanced the atmosphere and made the meal even more memorable. I'm truly grateful to both James and Kelly for such a pleasant and entertaining evening.”

“Came Saturday 3rd December for our Christmas do. We all had food and drinks. It was very busy so our food was miss ordered but once it came it was out of this world. Most of us had loaded fries. Because of the delay we got a discount. The food prices were really reasonable. Would definitely recommend.”

“I was staying in the adjoining Premier Inn, as I was working in the area. The menu is extensive and reasonably priced and there’s also a dinner and breakfast deal for hotel guests. I ordered the smothered platter which was fresh and tasty, with the steak cooked medium perfectly, which is usually ruined with mixed meat platters. Thanks chef. All staff are really friendly and the restaurant is clean and nicely appointed. The Doombar was spot on too, so I’ll definitely be back for my next trip to Denton.”

“I had this place in mind for months before deciding to visit here on a date night. We booked a table easily online (via their website) and the pictures there lived up to the real thing. The deco in this place is amazing to create the right atmosphere for any occasion.... Date night, drinks with friends at the weekend or during the week. The staff were very friendly and the food....
