We were greeted by jess she was very nice and friendly and showed us our seats and after a few moments taken our order just before our food came out she told us it won't be a few minutes. “We visit Chorley almost every month and love to eat at Hartwood Hall. Our favourite is the filet steak which is always cooked to perfection. All the staff are friendly and helpful. On our latest visit we were served by John and Pippa, always a delightful experience. This is a popular restaurant and yet there is always a parking space and it’s free. You know you can relax and enjoy the gentle atmosphere. In summer there are tables outside, a bit close to the main road for us, so we stay indoors. So are there any problems? Only two as far as I am concerned, they don’t offer blue cheese as a cheese or a sauce and pouring cream is not on the menu either. Despite this we keep coming back for the great food, try the Mac & Cheese as a great side dish, it goes with anything.”

Booking is recommended as it is a popular place to eat. I would definitely go again thanks to the affordability factor!”
