“Visited Monks Park Working Men’s Club on a Sunday with a group of friends, and we had a really good time. We joined in with the bingo, entered the raffle, and had a few friendly games of pool — exactly the kind of relaxed afternoon we were after. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and there was a nice community atmosphere throughout. Drinks were reasonably priced, and it felt like the kind of place where everyone looks out for each other. We’d definitely visit again — and who knows, maybe even become members if we can! A great spot for a laid-back Sunday with friends, assuming one is a member.”

Clean and tasty food. The Duck was near perfect. Not greasy but still juicy shredded duck. Sure it's very busy peak times because it's a nice place for a take away.”

“I'm really fussy about dining out for a Sunday lunch. An upsetting trend in most pubs and restaurants these days is the roast spuds not being freshly prepared. All too often they are clearly frozen, pre-part cooked potatoes; akin to the 'Aunt Bessies' corner cutting model. They're not necessarily unpleasant; but they're not traditional roast spuds. We have visited Molten's on a Sunday a couple of times now for their carvery. I have to say both visits were spectacular. All elements of the roast dinner are lovingly prepared. Gorgeous beef. Stunning gammon. Perfect chicken; and all veg (including those roasties- woop woop!) absolutely delicious . On top of this, the place is immaculately clean, comfortable and all the staff went out of their way to make sure we had a 5* experience. Suffice it to say; we'll be back. We'll also be recommending this to many many people. Keep up the good work!”

“WOW what a stay!! From the moment we walked through the door, Adam made us feel so welcome. We checked into our room which was lovely and booked for food in the evening, which was amazing. We stayed for 2 night and staff were super friendly and chatty, we didn't want to leave and would defiantly stay again. This is a beautiful local restaurant with only 9 room off it, all on the flat with easy access.”

“High standard Hong Kong style food with very reasonable price. The satay beef instant noodles tastes exactly the same as I had in HK, one of the best. Beef tendon noodles really worths trying, portion is large enough. Salt and pepper squid is irresistible, my kid finish half of this dish with fried beef ho fan as main dish. I had grass jelly tea, tastes really nice and it’s a very special HK style drink. Free parking at the back of the pub. Staff are all very kind, you would feel very welcome.”

“I had recently booked the pub for my partners birthday.. the landlady April was very accommodating and was very helpful, April even offered to set up tables and decorated the place for me she and her staff did an amazing job The staff were all very lovely and helpful and the service was very good. There where children who came to the party, and again April and staff where lovley with them, and very understanding when the children where acting up a little. Everyone who came to the pub commented on how lovley the pub was and the staff. I want to say thank you for having us, and we will see you all again soon.”
