“What a beautiful quaint little pub. Lovely atmosphere and humble patrons. Met the lovely locals and felt welcomed as soon as i walked in. My friend even got invited outside for a tour of the neighbourhood surrounding the area. Pool table is in prestine condition also and was very unexpected due to other pubs standards. Your kids will love it here.”

“We booked bottomless brunch just a few days before going as our usual place was fully booked and we were pleasantly surprised. The place has had a total make over and was absolutely lovely inside! The food was fab, service fantastic and we had the best time! We then had the Drum Room, which is a decent sized private room upstairs that has also had a make over, all to ourselves and it was turned into a private karaoke room! We didn’t even know they offered this as a service but they couldn’t do enough for us and we’re already planning our next visit! Thank you so much - we had the best evening! “I recently organised an afternoon tea baby shower at Papillon Coffee House - From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and we had a whole room to ourselves. They allowed us to get there early to set up decorations and offered to help set up too. The afternoon tea was amazing and everything was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend Papillon Coffee House for any event, especially a baby shower. The ambiance, service, and attention to detail made it a really special day for the mum-to-be and all the guests. Will definitely be back in the future!”

“We held our Pearl Wedding anniversary celebrations here and the service, food, venue were absolutely fantastic. Beccy and the team work tirelessly to make everyone feel welcome and make everything run smoothly without any hitches. The outdoor area was beautifully set up and decorated tastefully with music and lighting into the evening it was perfect. Could not have asked for a better day.”

“Cool little local pub in the heart of the country, Staff were really friendly as were all the locals and the food (although I didn't have any) looked really good. They had a decent sized back garden and seemed like a meeting place for all of the local villagers but I didn't feel out of place or like an outsider, of your in the vicinity it's well worth popping in for a drink or a bite to eat, will deffo stop by if in the area, they do take card payments but prefer cash ❤️”

“Welcoming pub in quiet neighbourhood with beer garden. Nice beers, friendly service and locals. I don't know if food is served but I was able to sit outside with my fish and chips.”

“This is a hidden gem of a pub. You can stay overnight in your campervan, they have electric hook up and WiFi. The owners could not do enough for us, we rang to book and was told they stop serving food at 16:00hrs on a Sunday, but if we were late they would sort us out for food. We arrived an hour after they stopped serving but still welcomed us and let us choose whatever we wanted from the menus and the food was delicious. The locals were very friendly as was the staff/owners who could not do enough for us. We will definitely return when we are back in the area. 10 out of 10.”

“This is a Lovely village pub run by very friendly people. Alas their Google presence is out of date so they don't food (hence no stars) except for Friday evenings but when we're dropped in for lunch they very kindly gave us some roast potatoes and sausages to snack on. I had a really nice pint of ale too. Thanks!”

“First time I've ever had a lamb and haloumi (signature lamb burger) and my mind was blown. The mix of flavours and textures was just amazing! My only regret is only staying in town for a single night, so I could only sample one dish. The watermelon mojito and basque cheesecake were a real discovery as well! I still dream about them to this day.”

“Friendly people in the, nice choice of cocktails and love the local ciders. Hubby also liked the local beers. Great choice in drinks and the outdoor garden is cute and has good space in between the tables, there's a gazebo at the back to for extra sun protection / rain etc.”

“Can I say, that Chris and team are doing a great job, the food each time we have eaten has been excellent and really good VFM, the decor has been spruced up and most importantly for me and my mates, there are now, a couple of cask ale guest beers on tap, one of which is usually from a local brewery. We have seen tenants come and go with very mixed results, however Chris and team are right up there. Myself and everyone in the village are so pleased we have our lovely pub back!! Thank you!!!”

“Lovely country pub in the village of Piddington. A wide range of good beers including lager, Cider and Cask Ales. Friendly atmosphere in the bar and Sky Sports on the TV for the sporty people. I highly recommend you visit this pub if you are in the area.”

“This pub is just perfect for a drink or some good food. The atmosphere is amazing, with a large glass wall allowing you to see through to the brewery where beer is made in house. The food is also very good. There are nice tables to sit in as well. I would definately recommend.”
