“Great store with great products and prices! Definitely worth checking it out. From homeware to cookware, furniture, decorative items, food items, medicines garden pet supplies luggage’s and so much more.”
“Great place for entertaining our grandchildren as well as good fun for us oldies.”
“Emma at the John Lewis Nursery department was incredible! Even though all appointments were booked, she kindly fit us in last minute when a slot cancelled. She patiently explained everything about prams and car seats, including safety features. Her expert advice about spine health and car seat use really put us at ease. Emma was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about our baby’s safety. Highly recommend her for anyone needing honest, helpful guidance!”
“Stayed for one night and really enjoyed our stay. Lovely room, comfortable and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was great, delicious food and lovely staff as well. Highly recommend, would stay again.”
“A small soft play facility for age 5 and below I will say. £5.25 each child, parents free of charge to enter (a few tables inside). Each session is 90 mins, starts from 10:00 to 11:30am then 12:00 to 1:30pm etc. There is a cafe here (it does say no food from outside unfortunately). Great toilet and changing facilities (new, modern and super clean), super clean soft play facility, will recommend! Worth the price tag.”
“I had a great experience with Hyper for my daughter’s birthday party! The team were professional, supportive, and made everything run smoothly from start to finish. The soft play area was a real highlight— thoughtfully designed for children to explore and enjoy. Communication was clear throughout, and they genuinely cared about getting things right. Would definitely recommend to other families looking for a fun and friendly environment.”
“Mid sized modern venue. Large stage. Great audio visuals. And a lift for disabled access. We used them for a conference. Staff and security were unobtrusive. There is a bar downstairs and a longer one upstairs in the gig venue/performance space. I reccomend this place for the above reasons. Id like to attend a gig here and see what it's like in that context.”
“Great craft fairs & pre school , Beavers , cubes , scouts Evenings”
“There is a toddler group that runs every Thursday including kids half term breaks.so handy esp when you dont know where to take kids on half term.they serve a hot drink for the grown ups with a biscuit and soft drink or water and a selection of healthy snacks for the tiddlers.try it out.”
“A great village venue for varied activities”
“Knowing nothing about what would be the best equipment my daughter would need for her GCSE Art, we went into this store and asked a member of staff for advice. We were assisted by an extremely knowledgeable, helpful and enthusiastic staff member named Ellie. We got everything we needed and got great value for money. What an asset this young lady is. What I thought would be a tricky buying experience was actually very simple.”
“Really nice place with amazing interior. Plenty of space and really welcoming and friendly staff. Good food at a decent price. I was a tiny bit disappointed with my Buttermilk chicken burger. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't amazing. Went with my daughter on father's day and got a free beer! The toilets are downstairs in what used to be the vaults and a couple of bits have been retained for character. Would definitely go again but would order something else. Easy to book online. Recommended.”
“I attended a fun day which was well attended. The grounds provided picnic tables there was an outside bar and Burger stall where service was both friendly and fast, good burgers at a very good price there was also live music for people to enjoy and lots to keep children entertained and busy.”
“We've just had a child's birthday party, hosted by Ryan and Ellie. A really great experience: enthusiastic, helpful and friendly staff, kids had a fantastic time. Even better than expected!”

“We had are daughters’s party yesterday at jump. We never been there before or had a party there before. We will definitely be using you again in the future. The staff was very friendly and nice & polite. The food was lovely well presented with lots of it. My daughter and her friends had a lovely time at jump warehouse.”
“Lovely little softplay, good value and food very reasonably priced. My toddler loved it, the small size meant he had the confidence to go round by himself. Best soft play in the area.”
“Nice Hall. Great for meetings and small events. Quite a bit of parking. Playground behind is great for children.”
“Very enjoyable stay before Latitude. Staff are always very nice and the room we had was excellent. Booze and food very well priced. Perfect starting point for Latitude.”
“Lovely place to take children for fun.”
“Very modern feel, great toilets and nice friendly community feel”
“My sister and I chose to enjoy a traditional English buffet breakfast for a very reasonable £7.50. It tasted much better than I had anticipated! We were greeted at the door by the delightful Naomi and her colleague Demi, who took our orders. Both were extremely polite and accommodating, contributing to a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Finding a parking space has never been an issue, as there is a spacious car park available.”
“Good service but one staff couldn't locate where the curtains rod were Let assume he was new”
“Chose to ignore the bad reviews and go try for ourselves. Soo glad we did. Great holiday. First holiday as just a couple with our 18 month old. Very quick straightforward check-in. Caravan very clean on arrival, smelled fresh. Nice and warm, heating system easy to use. Beds comfortable. Enjoyed the use of the pool. Good free activities on with their tots week for my 18 month old. Soo convenient being able to park outside your caravan. Nice food and drinks at the boathouse restaurant, reasonably priced and free food for kids during the tots break with good options available for them. Shirley-Ann in particular was really helpful and approachable at the bar, but we didn't have any bad interactions, everyone would give you a smile as you went by. Didn't get to see the evening entertainment at the show bar, but there was something on every night. Easy checkout process. First holiday with parkdean and will 100% be coming back.”
“We had an absolutely fantastic stay at California Cliffs — it exceeded all our expectations! From start to finish, it felt like the perfect family escape. Pool & Facilities The park’s swimming facilities were superb. There’s both an indoor and outdoor pool, complete with waterslides and fun features that kept everyone entertained, no matter the weather. Whether we were splashing about outside on a sunny day or enjoying the indoor pool when it was cooler, it never disappointed. Entertainment & Shows The evening entertainment programme was stellar — there was something for all ages. The Trouper Productions shows were full of energy and variety, with themed nights that kept us excited to go back after dinner. We also enjoyed the Park Live acts and street performers throughout our stay. Kids adored the “Milkshake Mornings” with dancing, singing, and crafts, and the Starland Krew appearances were a hit too. Food & Dining Dining options at California Cliffs are excellent. The on-site Boathouse Bar & Restaurant offered a broad menu of family favourites, and the ambiance made dining feel like part of the holiday experience. We also appreciated the takeaway fish & chip options and the convenience of Costa Coffee for quick snacks. Overall Atmosphere & Staff The park has a warm, friendly atmosphere throughout. The staff we encountered were delightful — always helpful and ready with a smile. The grounds, amenities, and communal spaces felt well maintained and inviting. Many previous guests mention the same: “All staff we encountered were lovely and extremely helpful.” Summary If you’re after a holiday where entertainment, comfort, and convenience all come together, California Cliffs is a fantastic choice. Pools, food, shows — they’ve nailed it. We can’t wait to return!”
“My grandson had a party here, I must say the staff here amazing. Giving as a party organiser to stay with the table. Good food, kids loved it. Clean and tidy couldn’t fault from start to finish.”
