“We love Ian and Nikki! There's always a lovely atmosphere in The Olympic since they've taken over! Kareoke's are so fun, Sunday lunches are great, and it's always nice to put some songs on the jukebox! We also love that the pub is dog friendly and has a lovely big garden/seating area outside.”

“Last Saturday ( 27 May ) twenty-nine of us enjoyed a lunch at the Peartree. It was a very happy carefree occasion with very good food and the most attentive and caring service. The staff really put themselves out to ensure we all enjoyed ourselves and they succeeded. The only downside is that some of us will have to diet as the sticky toffee pudding was not as low cal as I kidded myself. Congratulations to a first class team.”

“Great place to meet friends on a Friday after work and have drinks and a laugh The new landlord has a leveled head snd will get that place back where it needs to be after this horrific lock down. She is great with the customers and always makes pleasant conversation with everyone.”

“Hi, this is a great family pub.tou can take your kids it's also good for the atmosphere. Darts and pool are still popular, the pub does rub it's own teams if that's what your after. They do have a garden during the summer months and do accept party bookings. All in all a nice typical British pub.”

They offer a good selection of drinks, catering to various tastes. The staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making the experience even more enjoyable. “I have bought food from the Marina for about 6 years now. I’m in no way a regular customer, I’ve probably averaged once or twice a year, but I still wanted to review. Tonight, I got their isiewu, beans , plantain and assorted meat, and suya. Really really tasty, very generous portions and authentic Nigerian food. The owner’s customer service has also greatly improved. He’s nice, and will greet you with a smile and chat with you if you’re so inclined. Highly recommended.”

“Lovely and clean pub with friendly staff. Reasonable price drinks with plenty to choose from. Nice big function room with lots of seating and a stage. Always something on from pool and darts night to karoke, sticky 13's, bingo, quiz's, penny raffle and bounus ball. Definitely recommend weather your single, couples or a family. Dog friendly”

“Had table booked for 7 with it being a Saturday night was seated straightaway By crystal who was very helpful and polite was told it could be 45 minutes to wait for food but got within 30 minutes which was a bonus food was lovely and with 40% of it was a bargain .”

“First time visiting the Limekiln at the weekend with my family. When our meals came out we commented on how attentive and polite our waitress, Demi was. She told us to enjoy our meal, came back to check everything was ok which is so rare these days and asked if we needed anything else. She will go far in customer service and made our experience great.”

“Pleasant looking hotel from the outside which is situated 2 miles from the centre of Nottingham easy to drive with plenty of parking in the area. Entered reception, quick and easy booking in, and simple directions to the room, hotel was clean, tidy and pleasant decor. Restaurant with a simple menu catering for coeliacs, vegetarian and grass munchers, separate bar and lounge for relaxing in the evening with comfortable seating. Room was a double room, better suited to a single occupant. Double bed, large 48in Smart TV, coffee and tea facilities with limited coffee, tea bags and sugar, hair dry (not needed on this visit as I have little to no hair) iron and ironing board. Room itself was at the rear of the building which ment being away from the road facing a quiet residential estate and was peaceful unable to hear any road noise. Bedside table on both sides with a small dressing table with stool. There was a walk in wardrobe with plenty of space for hanging clothes (limited hangers) I would consider bring some from home. Small functional en-suit bathroom with shower and a good constant source of hot water and you didn’t need to run around in the shower to get wet. Toilet and sink with small hand and bath towels provided. Breakfast included served in the dining room, this is a full English with, Fried and scrambled eggs, button mushroom, hash browns, sausage, bacon, baked beans. The usual assortment of cereal’s, fruit, orange juice, various teas available (including herbal” & coffee, self help with toast. Breakfast is self service. Menu simple to navigate with the usual GASTRO type food available at reasonable prices. Staff were all very helpful, curious, plate and respectful, nothing was too much of a problem. Plenty of parking to the rear of the premises for cars. I stayed for 4 nights on business, main doors close at 11pm however if your a night owl your door keycard gains you access to the hotel through the reception entrance giving you a little freedom in the evenings. The hotel have free WiFi which was accessible even from the room at the back (RM 38). My only gripe was I needed a team of sharpers and oxygen for the long climb to the room, I as a little dizzy and threw myself on the bed. It is highly probably I will be in the area again in the near future and have requested my Company book me that hotel again. Very pleasant place highly recormended.”

“The staff were so lovely and welcoming, shared bathrooms were nice and clean. Rooms were very comfy, had a great nights stay. Location is very good too it’s walking distance from most attractions and close to car parks too. Very nice breakfast in the morning. Definitely recommend!”

“We ordered Platter for 4 people, and it was absolutely fantastic! The portions were generous, the presentation was beautiful, and every single item tasted fresh and full of authentic flavour. The mix of kebabs, curries, rice, roti, naan, and sides made it a perfect meal to share. The spices were perfectly balanced — rich, aromatic, and comforting without being overwhelming. The meats were tender and well-marinated, and the biryani had that classic, irresistible Pakistani aroma. The naan was soft and fresh, and the chutneys added the perfect finishing touch. This platter is great value for money and ideal for families or groups. We all loved it and will definitely be ordering again. Highly recommended!”

The bar staff are very respectful, and the bouncer (foggy) is a lovely person. Always been respectful good atmosphere good music, and a very good place to socialize I've been coming this bar since I was 18 it was the first bar I've ever been too and I came out in this bar.”

“Went here for a party. Loved the whole experience. Friendly staff. Spotless premises. Good beer at fair prices. Great atmosphere. This is a good local pub with no pretentions of grandeur. Good tasty beer without having to find one I liked from 26 craft ales. The finger buffet was fine, but I can't give a score as it didnt have a meal so it would be unfair to judge. Will go there again.”

“I went to a private event here where they provided food and, because I'm vegan, they provided me with my own separate plate of food, with vegan cheese and other yummy things! They also did the same for another guest with dietary requirements (gluten free). I was really impressed and their service was lovely and friendly too. They were also dog friendly :)”
