“Nice and decent wetherspoon in Carlton. The service was fast and good. You can get the reception even if you go in to the back part of the pub. Plenty of foods that you can choose. I was just surprised how fast they brought out our pints. The foods were amazing, my chicken was nice and tender, the Tikka masala was also tasty. Highly recommended place.”

“We had a fantastic visit to The Apple Tree in Nottingham. As a booking of seven people I expected at least a few errors. However there was none. The service was excellent from the beginning, the barman who took our order was amazing, really pleasant, patient and thorough throughout. (Unfortunately he didn’t have a name badge on, however is had a distinctive piercing so please pass on our thanks). The food was absolutely delicious. The mixed grill was one of the best I’ve had in years! My wife had the gammon and said exactly the same about hers. The desserts were fantastic too the Apple Pie and Creme brûlée were to die for. We’ll definitely be returning, especially as the service and value for money was outstanding. Highly recommend!”

She told us to enjoy our meal, came back to check everything was ok which is so rare these days and asked if we needed anything else. She will go far in customer service and made our experience great.”

“We have recently had a party at the royal oak in the lodge for around 100 people for an after wedding get together as we got married abroad and wanted somewhere for family to get together , we would like to say thank you to everyone who made the food it was amazing and everyone enjoyed it ! “The staff was pleasant and nothing was too much trouble, food came out really quickly , it's affordable and delicious. Parking is capable but is you take the refund part into the pub, you guessed it. It's refunded. This helps prevent non patrons using your space.”

“Had my son’s 30th birthday party here last night ! Great afternoon and everything was taken care of from dropping cake off earlier and the lovely bar staff helped put up birthday banners. “Lunched today there with the girls and had a lovely time. Staff great. New menu. 2nd review. Been asking for months for vegan breakfast and was so excited to try my first one today. Toast came without butter (will take my own next time) but otherwise was FAB. Again, super service, hot fresh food, lovely atmosphere. Thank you. And now they have Ve mushroom and ale pie. It was SO good. New review. Still perfect. Sept '25, £6 deal had the vegan burger on it, so we took advantage of that today. Very nice, service great, will be back again soon.”

“We used the venues upstairs room for a private event.All staff where friendly and very helpful.Had a glitch with sound system but they did there absolute best to resolve this as soon as they could. We was told we need to take our own rubbish and we did and received full deposit back no problem.Over all very pleased.”
