The place is lovely inside and out, we were there for dinner tonight (30th December), only thing wrong with the evening was that the table behind us seemed to have a couple seated who were “influencers” (idiots) who seems to be streaming whilst complaining constantly about everything and each other……. I can only hope they catch me in the background scowling at their effort to ruin our and everyone else’s enjoyment of this excellent restaurant.”

I admit, burger wasn’t massive but with the chips it was really filling. Comes wrapped in ‘newspaper’ love that and then in a massive box. You get a few warm wet wipes as well. For me, love this as I have a big beard and came in handy. Top marks, will definitely be back”

“Wow! This Carvery was amazing! Even though we are Liverpool Fans, the Chef gave us a huge Welcome and a generous amount of meat (I had the Beef and Pork). We moved onto the Vegetables and honestly, I can't think of a single Veg that wasn't present. All of them looked fresh (2pm ish) and replenished regularly as well as being crunchy and piping hot. The table staff were welcoming too - it was worth the drive and, we'll be back. I have a modest appetite so, don't let the size and selection of my plate put you off - there were Yorkshire's, my bro had 2, and potatoes - you can have as much as you want!”
