“Today was my daughters Hen party and we all had a blast. Drinks never stopped food was ace and James who looked after us was so accommodating. He made sure everyone got what they wanted and really looked after the two in our party who were not drinking. It was a great experience and we will deffinitely be back.”
“Ate here on a Saturday evening. Food and drink were excellent. Food was cooked perfectly and served very promptly, with the main course a good time soon after the starters. Staff were very attentive to the empty plates and when drinks were empty. Atmosphere was nice, with several other tables dining at the same time. The one issue that our party had would be the temperature of the room, it was slightly on the cold side, but that could also be because of the time of year.”
“Homemade Burger I had heard a lot about the deliciousness of this Hungrilla. I decided to take the opportunity while heading towards Sheffield. I couldn't have guessed that I would do this to myself. I shouldn't have eaten this much. But it was delicious. I am also sensitive about cleanliness. I was very happy. I wonder if it was the effect of the excess protein I ate?”
“Always had a takeaway from here, and it's never been disappointing. Service with a smile, professional, very clean surroundings & above all the combinations of noodles, rice, saucy mains with dry main flavours are always perfect on the palette. For the quality of food, the prices are more than reasonable. Would definitely recommend.”
“Rynos is the best in Nottingham, just tried the new chicken tikka and chips, recommended top banana.”
“Great tasting food, big portions and excellent value for money. I got the Rotana special thinking its for 2 ppl but can easily be enough for three. My favourite was the grilled lamb. Chicken wss really food. Salads, soup as starters are complimentary. Will definitely visit again”
“Creative Cocktails and Grand Atmosphere at The Alchemist Rating: 5/5 Stars We popped into The Alchemist King Street for a pre-dinner cocktail and were thoroughly impressed. The setting alone is worth the visit: it occupies a grand, stunning Grade II listed building that truly reigns over King Street, making for an instantly luxurious experience. The atmosphere is sophisticated, and the decor is highly unique—the space is cleverly decorated with labeled and thematic elements, reinforcing the bar's name and concept. The real highlight, however, is the drink menu. The mixology here is truly creative. We ordered the Espresso Martini, and it was one of the best we've ever had. It was delicious, strong, and beautifully presented, creatively adorned with a dark chocolate edible spoon and a dash of caramel caviar. This attention to detail elevates the experience beyond a standard cocktail bar. If you are looking for an inventive drink in a stunning location near Nottingham station and the City of Caves, The Alchemist is an absolute must-visit.”
“Authentic food, good portions, great service, and only for £5. What more can you ask for!? The Pad si-Ew has become a lunch time staple when I'm in the Notts office. Definitely recommend.”
“Food took a little longer than expected, but it was very busy and the food was bang on again. Only been here 3-4 times in the last couple of months and it’s been very nice each time! Highly recommend”
“Splendid delicious food, friendly staff, number one indian cuisine in whole of Nottingham, very nice ambience too.”
“The whole experience was great staff came to take orders very quickly asking if food was ok any more drinks food was amazing highly recommended going”
“Hooters isn't what I expected, in a good way. The food is absolutely outstanding! The best American food in Nottingham and the chicken is to die for. Far from being a seedy place where creepy blokes leer at vulnerable women, I've found Hooters to be quite the opposite. Young families sit around tables, sharing food together and it's a decent casual date location, with plenty of couples eating together. The menu is really good. It's lots of the same stuff in different combos, but this has two great benefits. First of all, with less ingredients you generally get better quality food and that's true here. Secondly, it's made a lot quicker than it otherwise would be as the chefs have more experience with each item than they would at a restaurant with many different items. I recommend the Cajun wings and the Parmesan garlic shrimp, with a side of tots. The coleslaw is a nice side to add. Beer options is probably the worst part of the menu. It's boring and really misses Blue Moon, with nothing similar since they removed it from the menu. I love it, I'll be going again with my fiance, or my work mates, or before the hockey. It's so good I've made it my standard go to food option in the city. Check it out.”
“Nice cafe. Great food. Great value. Can get busy at peak times. The food served here is really good value, particularly the meatballs which are extremely tasty. They also sell them in the food shop. If you are an IKEA Family Member you can get free Tea or Coffee on weekdays. Lots of seating. Very light.”
“Had a spot of light lunch and a few drinks (non alcoholic) whilst waiting for my car to be serviced at the nearby Volkswagen garage. It's set on the main road but has a lovely outdoor area as well as plenty of space inside. Was pleasantly surprised with how busy it was on a Monday lunchtime! The staff are absolutely lovely and very polite / attentive. Really clean environment - including the toilets which were spotless. The food was really fresh, incredibly tasty and good value. It's a greene king so you know that the drinks are going to be cheap but they were still nice. Overall I was really satisfied with the experience and I look forward to coming back and trying some more of the menu.”
“A beautiful picturesque place to go for a meal or just a general drink. Professional service, ample parking etc... Its the place to go after lockdown!! Make an effort to drive down Mansfield road as this place is a must see. All customers are respectful hence no drunkenness to contend with. Also they cater for weddings which I would expect provides same level of service.”
“Amazing food and service! Reccomended by a friend and I'm glad I came, the food was insane! We had the Tapas for 4 people (minimum 4 people) and we had food left over. The Estrella was delicious and Sangría went down a treat. It's a must try! Make sure you reserve a table as it gets busy and they can't seat walk-ins during peak times”
“I love this restaurant! A must visit! The service is so good with friendly and knowledgeable wait staff. The food absolutely incredible! Cannot wait to go back already!”
“I had the taster menu with my son and friends to celebrate his GCSE results. The staff were fantastic explaining every course and the food was delicious! Definitely worth visiting for the menu.”
“This is a brilliant restaurant serving Greek cuisine. The food was excellent served hot, tasted great, the meats were not dry and it was a good portion for the price paid. This was the second time visiting this place, and both times we have been very impressed. We have tried the stuffed mushrooms starter (highly recommended), the mixed grill for two people (again amazing!), the Moussaka and Kleftiko. Honestly highly recommended for anyone looking for somewhere new! Not a negative point, but certinley something which would improve the menu, is about the Mixed Grill for 2 people. It would be better if you offered a mixed grill for 1 person, as there is nothing similar, and limits the options available to customers.”
“Superb. The most authentic cuisine we’ve had this side of Thailand. Pad Thai with prawn is great, Tom Yam Gung is epic! Update: Third time and it’s still amazing!”
“Being a regular weekly patron of Iranian cuisine, I can confidently say this restaurant nails the flavors flawlessly. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, coupled with their friendly service, genuinely makes you feel like part of their family. In simple terms, choosing family-owned restaurants is a surefire way to guarantee a delightful dining experience where the authentic taste of the cuisine meets the heartwarming touch of familial hospitality.”
“On the 1st of November I had the most incredible 40th birthday party at La Rock. Daiva, Nick and all of the staff absolutely blew myself, my husband and all of the guests away with their exceptional standard of service. Now as regular customers we are used to their high standards but with 55 guests, nearly all of which were drinking they made sure everyone was attended to leaving everyone as impressed as we always are. There was never a queue at the bar, the food was incredible and the way they constantly checked in with me to make sure I was enjoying myself and everything was ok just added to the whole experience. I have the most ridiculously long list of foods I have to avoid and this never seems to be a problem. No matter how complex this gets they take it in their stride and serve me with dishes that look as good as every other guests. Their relaxed and calm manner helped when at times the night became quite overwhelming. I really can not recommend them more highly ❤️”
“Fantastic breakfast, a good menu with a Caribbean twist and owners that care about their customers and business. Clean, tasty food and very very well priced. A real find. Plus they gave us their new menu to look at and it looks great.”
“My husband and I stumbled across this pub after doing a walk in the area and we were really pleasantly surprised. This has to be one of the nicest outdoor seating areas I’ve come across! So many gorgeous flowers and just such a pleasant atmosphere. We had the steak pie which was lovely and a nice cold pint that went down a treat. The staff were lovely and friendly and the prices were very reasonable too! So, if it’s a nice day and you’d like a drink in a lovely, quiet beer garden, look no further!”
“We had afternoon tea here today and it was incredible. Lovely homemade sandwiches, cakes and scones which were fresh and delicious. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!”
“Lovely cafe, lovely atmosphere, clean and all staff we're really friendly. The food and drinks we're delicious and we would definitely return highly recommended”
