“Amigos is a fantastic spot for delicious chicken meals! I recently tried the Chick n Strip Meal, Macaroni Bites, and Popcorn Chicken, and I was genuinely impressed. Food: The food was served hot and fresh, which is always a great sign of quality. The Chick n Strips were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The Popcorn Chicken was seasoned just right, with a satisfying crunch in every bite. The Macaroni Bites were a standout – creamy, cheesy, and golden-brown perfection. Every item tasted fresh and flavorful. Service: The staff were friendly and efficient, making the experience even better. I didn’t have to wait long, and they made sure my order was accurate and well-packaged. Their attention to detail and welcoming attitude made me feel valued as a customer. Atmosphere: The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained. The seating area was inviting, and it felt like a place you’d want to sit and enjoy your meal rather than just grab and go. Overall: Amigos has quickly become one of my go-to places for a great chicken meal. Whether you're craving comfort food or something quick, they deliver on both taste and service. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu.”

“Lovely place with a good atmosphere and selection of ales and the usual drinks. The staff are really friendly and the service is great. A simple menu with good variety, well prepared and quick. The gents toilets were by far the nicest I've seen in any pub - clean, smelt fresh, all facilities functional, and nicely decorated. Yes - a well kept and decorated men's pub loo!! Unheard of!”

“The ownership & excellent Food & Service are still the same just a change of name from The Chocolate Cafe. We popped in for breakfast today as not been in for a while. The sausage breakfast bap was so fresh & the sausages superb. Sliced so easy to eat and put together with care. The Bacon Bap the same, husband had the delicious home made hash browns with his. Great coffee & take away a slice of cake. Come with an appetite & expect good things!!”

“Once Upon a time there was a immigration raid and it left me questioning everything. Was the chicken brought over illegally? Is the owner dodgy? Was the chicken foreign?  However with all of these questions on my mind I thought let me walk in there and find out As I approached the counter I felt to ask can I see your right to work but the overwhelming smell of fried chicken warmed my heart. I then went ahead and placed an order for a chicken burger with cheese and peri chips and once I took my first bite I didn’t care if the workers came over on a lorry or a boat I just thought BRING MORE OF THEM. The most amazing chicken burger I have tasted. Since that day which was the 17th of December 2023 (me taking my first footstep into this chicken wonderland) I have ordered the same thing over and over again and honestly it never disappoints. Whether your workers are legal or illegal I honestly do not care all I can say is you may not check their right to work but you 1 million percent do check their right to make chicken. I love you chicken cottage please fry up a burger I am on my way. You’re opposite heavenly desserts and honestly you deserve the name heavenly chicken.”

“One of the best experiences in terms of eating out I've ever had. Halil showed me around, the food was incredible, very filling, got a complimentary Turkish tea, and the restaurant is so clean. Can see why it's been nominated for awards. A must in Wycombe! One of the best!”

“We celebrated a 40th birthday with 16 people, ranging from 7 months to 78. Chutney was recommended as we live out of town but have family in the area. Chutney’s did not disappoint. Service was friendly and went the extra mile, and the food was fantastic. We had two people with gluten free diets and the menu is well marked out but they were very accommodating also. Would thoroughly recommend for all occasions and especially for larger groups (no deposit required). Well priced for the area, but a bit pricey compared to where we safe from. However, the food is worth every penny.”

“After a week of early starts at work I decided to be crazy after finishing work on day 7 by visiting three Brewdog bars along with my wife. Starting at 11 am we took a 2 hours 45 minutes train ride with two changes to get to bar number one, then another 50 minutes on the train to bar number two. Again onto another train for 1 hour 20 minutes to Oxford. On arrival at the bar we was warming welcomed by the bar staff. We had a couple of tasters of the brews that were on offer, my wife had had the Vault City Orange Creamsicle a 4.8% modern sour beer and I had a pint ot Brewdog Clockwork Tangerine IPA at 4.5%. We sat in a booth and looked over the food menu not that we truly needed too as we have eaten from the BrewDog menu so many times. The bar manager came over and asked if we wanted to order food. My wife went for the Plant Powered Patriot served in a beetroot brioche not that my wife is a vegetarian but these plant based patties are the best she has ever tasted. These plant based patties are not dry like some well known branded vegan burgers. The plant powered patriot patty is just as juicy as the meat based patty. I had the Jackpot a meat patty served with black pudding, chorizo sausage with a blue cheese sauce. Both our Patties hit the spot and were cooked to perfection. A visit to Brewdog Oxford is highly recommended.”

“I have been going to Malebon for, let's say decades now. The food has always been of the highest quality and so fresh. The prices never seem to increase, which is a miracle these days. There are so many things to recommend from the menu, but my personal favourites are the kofta wrap, available as a meal deal too. The mini half Marocain chicken, and the breakfast tagine are also fantastic. Plus their chips always taste like holiday chips, which is so amazing. Highly recommend visiting if you've never been. Keep going, keep this place here for many more years to come.”

“What a pub… Whenever we go in, the staff are friendly and accommodating. Since the refurb it’s so welcoming and inviting with a great selection of beers on tap (that always helps) The food is great fresh pub food, roasts are cracking and priced at just £15, can’t complain! Dessi and the whole Wheatsheaf Team are a credit to the local community. We’re so lucky to have such a great pub at the end of our roads!”

“Value is the key here. Meals aim for burgers and pizzas, but other choices are there. Steak Tuesday has been abandoned, a pity, but meat was not always that tender. If you love real ale this is staggeringly good value, and cask ales change regularly. Roughly 10 are available, 6 regulars and 4 are replaced every 3 days or so. Tasting notes always available. Beer prices under half that elsewhere. Not a lager man but plenty there for them who are. Clientele can be a bit dubious at times, but value wins. Small breakfast with unlimited coffee for less than £4 is a good example.”

“Great Fish and Chips! Large portions and delicious fish, well-cooked. Only 4 stars for atmosphere as there is no restroom. Everything looked great and they were very fast. My daughter ordered the chicken loaded chips in the Chioptle flavor and was very happy. Thanks for making these London travelers happy today!”

“I ordered super late close to closing , was my first time ordering a German kebab I have to say I was not disappointed! Meat was great not greasy loved the bread it came in and the pickles I would definitely recommended ! chips nice and crispy also chicken strips was real chicken not processed also nice and crispy will definitely recommend delivery was quick and the courier was very polite !”
