“A friend an I had the festive afternoon tea at the Pantry this week and I would highly recommend it. Lovely touches like delicious warm festive punch, and the option of fig jam for the scones - one if which was orange and cranberry flavour. It really was a bit different, and all the items were delicious - especially the fluffy as a cloud brioche bun option. We loved the experience and may well return again later in the festive season!”

“The best coffee in Reading! I’ve been coming here for years now and can honestly say it’s my favourite coffee shop. The bagels are incredible and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming. Also dog friendly which is quite rare in Reading centre.”

“Stopped in Athlete Service in the middle of a long ride after a friend’s cleat broke. Rob was incredibly friendly and helpful, and broke one of his few remaining packs of pedals to replace said cleat. Great selection of brands and products in store; if I lived in Henley I would be delighted to have this as my local bike shop!”

“A busy cafe on the edge of the airfield with tables both inside and outside. The food is good and service is quick. It can be very pleasant to sit outside to eat / drink as then you can watch the activities on the airfield which is generally quite busy with light aircraft and helicopter flights.”

“Had a lovely lunch in here today (Thursday). Thought I'd take my mum and son. Lovely greeting from the staff, really helpful and sweet. They have a great choice of tea. The food menu was great too, tricky choosing what to have. Had cheese scones, that came with cream cheese and a chutney that omg I loved. I'm recommending this to all my friends and family. ❤️”

“This is a lovey little theatre in a very good location for parking and the town centre. We took our grandchildren to the panto.. All the Staffa are so friendly and helpful, free cloakroom, easy access to snacks and treats within. The seating is well tiered to ensure good views of the stage. Lots of different shows on all year. Quite a gem.”

Where many breakfast places were empty, this place was absolutely jam-packed, which is a testament to how well-loved it is in the community. I wouldn’t say that the food or presentation is trying to blow your mind. It’s more of a home-cooked, comfort food. The best part is really the staff; the young servers are so polite and hardworking. The staff, led by the incredibly friendly and accommodating Paul, went above and beyond to make my day unforgettable. Despite my late arrival for the last session of the day. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and well-cared for. The team provided everything I needed to hit the water and have a blast, ensuring a safe and hassle-free experience. He even offered to delay the end of the session to give me more time on the water. One of the highlights was Paul's kindness in arranging for a colleague to bring his phone from the office to the boat. He then took the time to capture a series of amazing photos, which he later sent to me, creating lasting memories of my adventure with my beloved dog, Xena Warrior Princess. I'm so grateful to Paul and his colleagues for making my last road trip with my dog so special. Their dedication to providing exceptional service made all the difference. If you're looking for a fun and memorable day out on the water, I highly recommend Horseshoe Lake Activity Centre. You won't be disappointed! I will certainly be visiting again:)”
