“A Fabulous place to meet friends, have lunch, tea or coffee and homemade cakes. Whether walking, cycling, driving, you are always welcomed by the friendly staff. Yummy food fills you to the brim, comfy seating to chat with friends. Our four legged friends feel at home aswell as our kids with the secure play area. Sadly moving away from the area means I will miss this place so much. Thanks Sash x”
“I enjoyed my latte here after making an enquiry in the Council. It was my first time visit. The coffee was amazing, in reasonable price, and was prepared by the cheerful barista. It was lovely to have sitting area where I could take a little rest and relax.”
“Lovely place, fantastic quality of coffee! I would highly recommend it.”
“First time visit - really nice hot cappuccino with moist home made tasting carrot cake - perfect”
“Friendly, welcoming & lovely coffee (the hot chocolate takes some beating too). The staff are lovely, always smiling & happy to share a giggle or lend an ear when needed.”
“Love it, perfect stop just before the playground. Very nice ladies have served me. Daughter loves the shortbread biscuit.”
“Delicious coffee and homemade cakes, and also drinks and treats for the kids! My daughter loved her gingerbread person. We already liked Albert Road Park, but this has made it even better!”
“Fantastic for a cycle pit stop. Plenty of space for bikes and great to be on the river.”
“A hidden gem! Second time for my wife. Spent a lovely couple of hours creating a Christmas present for the grandparents with a tea and hot chocolate. The lady running it was very helpful and has twice now helped paint the baby’s hands and feet as we were struggling! Definitely recommend.”
“Jade was fantastic, really helpful and dealt with our request really last min. Everything was perfect. Thanks”
“A great addition to the village! Lovely coffee, and the mini egg brownie was really tasty… and huge!”
“Awesome coffee, lovely people and best price in Woodley even without using a Loyalty card :) (their large mugs actually make you think large) Very peaceful and cozy during the working week and on the weekend if you time it right”
“Lovely location, delicious cake, great coffee. Can’t ask for much more. My advice would be to ignore the snippy negative review and support this fantastic local business.”
“Delicious cooked breakfast, everything was done really well and the staff were polite and friendly. Definitely be returning if in the area in the future”
“Lovely little place to stop for elevenses or a mid-afternoon cuppa. Tea £1.20, selection of cakes available. No indoor seating, all tables are outside on a little terrace overlooking the park and river. Stunning park.”
“Good quality food van that's now startled doing kebabs and open longer hours.”
“A great spot for coffee and cake pr breakfast / lunch hidden on a business park Quiet, clean and reasonably priced this place is well worth a visit. They also have a few parking spaces of you need to drive Lovely service too”
“This was our second time here and it was just as good as the first time if not better. Our waitress for the night (Lara) was brilliant and made our experience perfect. It’s nice to see someone so young take so much pride and have so much awareness in what she’s doing. Thank you to the whole team for another fantastic experience, and we are already looking forward to visiting again soon.”
“Had a two course lunch off the Festive Menu. Turkey Roulade and Black Forest Gateau. Wonderful food. Marc was very professional and attentive.”
“Last-minute meet-up with a friend to put the world to rights, and Wellington Farm Shop didn’t disappoint. I walked in at 11:45 and it was absolutely packed, so I was fully prepared for a 30–40 minute wait after ordering. Instead, the lady who took my order—who had a brilliant sense of humour—had my breakfast out in just 15 minutes. Wow! What fantastic service delivered by genuinely great staff. I couldn’t resist picking up some of their fresh marinated chicken before leaving, and served it the same night—delicious. A return visit is definitely on the cards. Highly recommended. 5/5”
“Lovely food this afternoon, I had the Lamb Shank, which came to me piping hot, with lots of vegetables & piping hot minty gravy. It was delicious and the hottest meal I’ve had in a very long while .. well done team. Hubby had a burger & chips and his was tasty, and again served piping hot. The main meal came after a little wait which was fine. The drinks came quickly & the only concern was the wait for our dessert, which the one waitress who was serving everyone with food, brought to us as quickly as she could. She was rushed off her feet & She didn’t stop, but was very efficient and had a smile even though she was so busy. I really admired her. The wait for our dessert was a bit unfortunate and unnecessary, but it was delicious. I think they needed another waiter / waitress as one was not enough for the amount of people there today. The main problem was with the state of the restroom / toilets… that seriously needs addressing asap. We’ll definitely return though as the food is always delicious & fresh & piping hot, & we’d recommend it to anyone too. Lovely setting by the river.”
“Definitely a unique experience. Been there only once for breakfast. Not only were the staff kind and courteous, they were very quick with service and I was able to pay easily for my food and drink. Not to mention they had some foods I'd never even heard of, and new pasta shapes. It was kind of relaxing, just sitting and enjoying a simple brownie and a cup of tea. Would definitely recommend for you early birds.”
“Some people like what they do; these guys are passionate. A huge variety of roasts and beans from around the world. Extremely knowledgeable staff and the owner is the roaster. If you love coffee, Workhouse would love to give you what you want.”
“One word - sausages! They are fantastic; particularly the Welsh Dragon Sausages and the Pork and Apple Sausages. So flavourful and lovely texture. The Chipolatas and Bacon are also good too.”
“Vivs is a gorgeous cafe, perfect to stop in to when your in Goring to fule you for you day!! Betsy was lovely and gave great customer service. Personally i adore the chocolate brownies they are SUPERB.”
“Alto Lounge is one of my favourite locations to enjoy a good breakfast and a lovely cup of coffee. It's always spot on and the lovely people working here make sure you are always having a good experience. We asked for substitutions, they've done it. We asked for recommendations, they've provided extensive info. They checked on us to make sure everything is top. Can't fault them. Thank you very much for everything you do!”
“An absolute gem of a spot, authentic in terms of food and atmosphere. A good variety of halal/veg options as well. The roast duck was especially good, perfectly cooked with a nice crispy skin. Highly recommend. I'm looking forward to being back soon.”
“Good place to stop just off the M4. Baguette, wraps, & paninis alongside a good coffee”
“I regularly take my daughter here because it is such a lovely experiance. We travel here for movies even though there are 2 cinemas in our town. Plenty of parking, all seats are recliners and there are no bad angles.”
