“1st visit after a walk, good beer and wine and really friendly lad behind bar made us feel welcome”
“A truly wonderful place to stay! The hotel room was spacious, stylish, and spotless, providing the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the outstanding service. The staff were proactive and incredibly kind, always there to help with a smile. The dining experience was equally impressive. The meals we had at the restaurant were exquisite and left us wanting more. I can't recommend this place highly enough”
“Out first time visiting in over a year. Came for a Birthday/anniversary meal as a family. Food was really good and really big portion sizes for the price! Booked in advance to sit up in the orchard room as its much quieter so I'd recommend that!”
“Called in here with a workmate, killing a couple of hours between jobs. It was very quiet at around 4.30pm, but within an hour was very busy. Cracking selection of beers/lagers. Very friendly lady behind the bar. We both ordered the fish fingers on ciabatta - very, very nice, and the chips were proper ones too, none of your oven chips here! Staff were very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!”
“Nice place. Food was really good!”
“Absolute gem nestled in Woodseats, Sheffield, and it’s no surprise it consistently ranks among the top 5 beer houses in the city. “Such a wonderful, wonderful bar. Always have brilliant service and drinks. Lovely atmosphere. If you're looking for arguably the best cocktail bar in Chesterfield (and probably Derbyshire/Yorkshire), come here. You won't be disappointed. Louise and Becky and their team will make your evening!”
“To say it’s a small pub, they offer a wide range of beers & ciders and at a really good price! Probably the best priced in the area(Whittington moor) I can imagine this place having a really good atmosphere on a match day but unfortunately not the same at 1pm on a Friday. But overall it’s a lovely pub with comfortable seating and a decent beer garden with plenty of seats available outside too. You can vape inside too, big plus for some…”

“We had a fabulous overnight stay at the Pebley Inn. It has a lovely deck outside overlooking the countryside, luckily we had a lovely autumn night to make the most of it. We were greeted at check in by the lovely Olivia, it was such a warm friendly welcome and she continued to look after us all night. We stay in a lot of pubs on our travels and don't normally get such amazing service. Food delicious. Beers kept well. Warm atmosphere in the pub. Room well equipped. The whole night was excellent.”

“Family party of 10 plus the dog, requested that we pre-order which was fine. It meant we weren't waiting too long for our meals. Gorgeous food. Everyone enjoyed it and the staff were lovely.”
“Food was lovely. And great value. Always a service with a smile. Always a good selection of IPA and beers. I Love this place.”
“Delicious food and always great beer here. The staff are lovely and the buildings are beautifully kept both inside and out. Outside, there's a nice beer garden and a covered wooden decked area which is lovely on a summer's evening with the "Crooked Spire" of Chesterfield visible in the distance. The log burner makes the inside toasty in the colder months and the low ceilings, oak beams and pretty lighting create a lovely atmosphere. The Blue Bell Inn is definitely worth a visit.”
“Enjoyed the roast dinner sitting outside in the sunshine one late April Sunday. Great pint of Landlord, too. Themed nights including Caribbean. Nice pub with contemporary decor that has kept some traditional features inside, with the added outside area having been created to a great standard. Bikes zooming past along Chesterfield Road a bit annoying but the food distracted from that. Choice of beef, chicken or gammon, large freshly made yorkies, cauliflower cheese, a massive boat of gravy and accompanying veg. Good portion.. although it needed to be at £16! I would mention more about the high price of a Sunday lunch here, was it not for the fact that it was blooming delicious!! Grandma's Bread and butter pudding to finish (bloody lovely Grandma) and a couple of pints of Rutland ale. Great pub and well positioned for local walks before or after to Ashover and beyond. Great food, Good beer selection, well placed to explore the area and make a day of it.”
“Hands down the best pub round Chesterfield up and coming with fantastic regulars with the warm, classic homily and welcoming feeling competitive pricing on all services and without the watering down unlike many others. Will reman my regular watering hole till my last breath”
