“I visited early evening to the Clowne store with a long list of items due to me moving house. The store was fairly busy but not crowded. Every member of staff that I dealt with was very friendly an helpful and to cap it all every item was in stock. I akso remembered other things that I needed and they were all available as well. First class.”

Lee help me pin down the right bricks from their large selection, explaining the different types, and patiently answered all my questions. I couldn't be happier.”

“Last night I was the caller with the J J Galway ceilidh band at a 40th birthday party held upstairs in the Assembly Rooms. We had a great time, even if the only "beer" available was John Smith's at £3.60 a pint. The venue is a little hard to find, but repays the effort.”

“The New Chopsticks- at last the good times are back, new owners and our food was fantastic and delivered as well a first for chopsticks, we had sweet & sour Chicken HK Style Chips,egg fried rice spring rolls and gravy wow as good if not better then Pete' s days, can't wait to try other dishes out. DO NOT LET THE QUALITY SLIP PLEASE and they'll be queuing out the door again.”

“We booked a room at The Riverside for an 18th birthday party. Communication from the start was great. Rooms to hire are lovely and all the staff at the Riverside are very polite and welcoming. Extra special thanks to the two young bar staff last night at our party, nothing was too much trouble for them, very friendly and polite :-) would definitely recommend Riverside for venue hire and would happily use again in the future.”

“We received our bespoke dinning table yesterday and couldn't be happier. Fantastic service from start to finish from Nick and the team. It's beautifully made and fits perfectly in our kitchen. I found Nick to be very accommodating, nothing was an issue. Gary and Mick delivered the table in pieces and built it on site at a time to suit us. I highly recommend Hand and Craft, fantastic product at a reasonable price and topped off with a friendly service.”

Delivery was spot on aswell.”
