“Just been for a meal with my wife for the first time. Have to say from the moment we got there they made us feel welcome. They brought us a bottle of water and some olives and bread while looking at the menu. I had the 1/2 chicken and chips which was beautiful and good size. My wife had vegetarian lasagna and roast potatoes which she loved. Pudding was homemade tiramisu. We will definitely be returning again.”

Staff are absolutely lovely, food is delicious and extremely reasonably priced. Been here in a couple, in a group of four, for a family birthday, as a work team social… Never disappoints!”

“We decided to stop by The Big Smoke for lunch while out and called ahead to reserve a table. The staff were very accommodating, telling us we could arrive in 45 minutes, and upon arrival, they had already prepared a baby high chair, which was a thoughtful touch. The service was friendly and attentive throughout, with the team recommending the day’s specials and checking in on us regularly. Drinks arrived promptly within 5 minutes, though the mains took a little longer, it was nothing too concerning. Overall, we had a pleasant dining experience and would definitely visit again!”

“Called in here tonight on my journey back home. Straight away I was greeted with a warm friendly welcome. I ordered a thin crust meat feast pizza garlic sauce and can of tango which came to £15.40. The pizza itself was very tasty with plenty of toppings however the star of the show was the garlic mayo. I have never had such a morish sauce in my life. I would highly recommend visiting this place if your in the area.”

“Love this restaurant mainly because of the lovely people who work there. They are always so helpful and friendly. The decor of the place is wonderful, the food is very good and a reasonable price. I've visited several times, and it's definitely my favourite place to eat in Epworth now. Something to note. I take my elderly mum there for a meal and she can't climb stairs and the restaurant and toilets are upstairs! However, the staff are happy for us to eat in the bar downstairs, and the service is prompt, so this has not been an issue.”
