Had the nachos to share for starter, this was plenty, then the steak with scampi and the mixed grill and wine, plus a couple of drinks to start with all for under £50.00. The whole experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. ​The restaurant itself is incredibly cosy, and the entire team was just amazing and attentive. A huge shoutout to Joss, who was absolutely brilliant! Due to a last-minute business trip to Sheffield, we needed a table, and he went above and beyond to fit us in and was so helpful in explaining the menu. ​The food quality truly blew me away. Everything tasted superb, proving the dedication to using fantastic quality local produce. “We spent Easter weekend at this lovely B&B and will most certainly be back. Our family room was excellent, spotlessly clean, breakfast was delicious. Also did some fishing in the onsite lake. 10 min walk from the Horse and Jockey pub where we had a nice evening meal and also another meal at Pesto at The Peacock which was also very good. Bottle feeding the lamb and the Easter treats were a lovely touch. Thanks for hosting us!”

“Busy and delicious local cafe with scrummy bakes filling the window and always delicious brunch dishes on the chalkboard menus. Only let down is that the best sounding dishes sometimes run out before you get to try them! Great coffee, super friendly service. Be prepared for a wait for a table at lunchtime, especially on the weekend, but definitely worth it! Been here a few times now and it's consistently good!”

“We had such a lovely time at PlayTown Sheffield! It’s such a well thought out space with 8 themed areas perfect for little imaginations. My two absolutely loved dressing up and exploring all the different zones from the mini supermarket to the vets and the shops. We also went during their egg hunt and it was such a fun bonus activity! The staff were friendly, the space was clean and well-organised, and I really liked that everything is reset between sessions so it feels fresh every time. The outdoor play area was a great extra touch, and having a little coffee spot for grown-ups is always appreciated! Definitely recommend for anyone with young children looking for something fun and different to do in Sheffield.”

The small range of beers are always good, and they've got a great little spirit selection (the food rating is for the drinks). “This is by far the best independent deli in Sheffield. The stock is wonderfully and thoughtfully thought out. I had a ciabatta sandwich and just asked the gentleman behind their kiosk to put in what he thought would work and boy did it! Also the espresso was perfect. It’s obviously run by someone who is passionate about Italy and it shows in the products and the passion which they are enthusiastically served. Sheffield is lucky to have La Coppola.”

The price was great and we also had some lovely gelatos that were great quantity :) The restaurant was full but they called us for when the space was empty and it was great :)!! “Had a fantastic afternoon tea yesterday. We had a disabled lady with us, so requested a table downstairs which we were given. In our group of 8 we have 2 vegetarians and 2 people that are gluten free and all were catered for. Our drinks orders were taken promptly and they kept coming. The food came out very quickly and everything was beautiful. We were all grateful for boxes to take our leftovers home. I have eaten here many times and the food never disappoints! “After suffering a lot of debilitating pain from a pinched nerve in my neck caused by a deep tissue massage done else where. I came into the clinic and was given a consultation and kindly fitted in for a session, after this session the pain eased by 50% after taking codine for 3 weeks prior. she put me at such ease and assured me it will be better soon, I felt so zen after this I didn’t hesitate to rebook. When I came the following week, less pins were applied and pretty much released the rest of the pain in the following days, I’m amazed. No further treatment needed was advised unless I felt the pain returning at all, very honest and reassuring service with amazing results. Have highly recommended ever since and would definitely return. Thanks again so much!”

“If you like Italian food,then you don't need to look any further than here. We booked a very early evening time slot on a saturday evening for 5.00pm. Thinking we would get there before the crowds. How wrong can you be? The car park was almost full. This is no more a hidden gem. It's shining in the spotlight and so pleased to see them doing so well. This is one of those very rare restaurants, where if you can't choose what to order you could just leave up to the chef to decide for you. The food is all so fresh and absolutely delicious. Even though they were busy,the service was spot on and friendly. Staff are totally on the ball and constantly checking on every table. If you are going to go,make sure you book!”
