“My daughter and I popped in for tea before going to a concert at the Utility Arena. The burgers and fries were delicious and the service was quick and friendly. A bit noisy for an oldie like me but it was very clean and tidy. A handy place to eat if you're in the area”

“Wow is the first word that pops in my head, I came for my 6 year anniversary for the first time last night. The entrance is stunning, the restraunt itself is beautiful. The service we received I have to say was the best I've ever had in Sheffield the staff were so polite, friendly and helpful Now the food, this is hands down the best Thai I have ever eaten the flavors are incredible the portion sizes perfect and the presentation is stunning, each dish hot and full of flavor, I had a mock tail which was also amazing. I would recommend to anyone and will be returning. Advise booking to ensure you get a table.”

“My favourite restaurant in London Rd. They have variety of bases and toppings, as well as side dishes. All of the foods are halal. The staff are also helpful and friendly. I would recommend their udon noodles and Malaysian chicken, me and my husband love it so much.”

“What a stunning place this is. The decor is tasteful, subtly lit, but not too dark. The staff were attentive and not in your face at all (very much appreciated). Our large group ordered a variety of things from the menu, but we all received our food at the same time. I ordered the red Thai curry, which was unbelievably nice. I'll definitely order it again on our return. All in all a very good experience and somewhere we'd definitely recommend and definitely visit again.. Sean.”

“Stayed a night after seeing Saints play Blades away. Great hotel, room was clean and comfy, price was excellent. Arrived before 3pm check-in, if you want to check in early it will cost you £15. I checked in after 3pm, and there was a line and it was a bit slow. That's the only con. Super easy walk to and from Bramall Lane if you're there for the football. Would stay again for sure.”

“Been to Papa’s a couple times in the past month and its been fantastic each time. Food is great value, portion sizes are generous and the staff go above and beyond to make sure you are having an enjoyable experience. There’s a lot of chippys around Sheffield but Papa’s is levels above them all - the curry sauce alone is worth making a special trip for!”

“Been in several times since reopening post lockdown. Much improved atmosphere since reverting back to a live music venue rather than being dominated by sports. Staff were super friendly and accommodating and prices very competitive. No longer serves food but welcomes you to bring your own or order takeout which I took advantage of both during a visit with adults and a visit with my two children on another occasion. Cutlery, serviettes and condiments were provided and staff happily cleared away our rubbish afterwards. I shall definitely be returning!”

We always start with the camembert, and honestly, it’s unbeatable. For mains, we can’t resist the chicken burger. It’s consistently amazing. You can tell the kitchen really cares about quality. The service is always outstanding too. The staff are so friendly, attentive, and genuinely make you feel welcome. “Booked DB&B via wowcher for a quick getaway. Warm welcome on check in with Nicky & co. Explained where everything is and facilities on site. Room clean but furniture tired looking and in need of TLC. The evening meal although smaller menu than other hotels of thus size was exceptional. Highly recommend the Yorkshire Fish cake starter. Wish I'd ordered it, had to steal a taste of the husbands. Sorry forgot pictures of main course!! Comfy bed in warm rooms. Paid short visit to spa area before checking out. Only small but good to sat inclusive of the price. Ps also dog friendly hotel.”

“Great customer service, very attentive and helpfull. The rooms are big, clean and well organized. They offer a spa, swimming pool and many other features. The hotel is very beautiful, its architecture and plant-instalations. The location is amazing, it’s next to a beautiful church and square with a water fountain and water sculptures. You can walk to all needed places : museums, theatre, shopping and restaurants. It’s has a winter garden , a terrace , it’s really amazing place to book. Definitely recommend.”

“Absolutely loved this place, the food is amazing and at £21 a head at the weekend it’s amazing value too. Everything is cooked to order rather than being left on hot plates. The staff are really friendly too explaining what each dish is and also allowing changes to the dish to be made. £49 inc drinks each for a Saturday late lunch and all you can each was so good value. We will be back for sure !!!”

“Went here with my partner for a spontaneous date and it was lovely! Seated quickly food was hot and fresh and service was great, it was very quiet which was a surprise and at first it looked like they only had one lovely member of staff working and she looked swamped bless her but she did an amazing job! By the time it was time to get the bill our table had been taken over by another staff member and I didn't get her name unfortunately, food was expensive but the quality was great and for a once in a while treat cant really complain!”

If you like Gin, this experience is truly excellent. Highly recommended to all. Just remember to catch the bus, or train when you visit, as the various Gins keep coming as you are distilling your own unique blend.”
