βBlown Away by The Garrison, Wickersley! βI honestly can't say enough good things about our recent meal at The Garrison, Wickersley. The whole experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. βThe restaurant itself is incredibly cosy, and the entire team was just amazing and attentive. A huge shoutout to Joss, who was absolutely brilliant! Due to a last-minute business trip to Sheffield, we needed a table, and he went above and beyond to fit us in and was so helpful in explaining the menu. βThe food quality truly blew me away. Everything tasted superb, proving the dedication to using fantastic quality local produce. The presentation of every dish was top-notchβreal eye candy! βIf you're looking for an unforgettable meal with incredible service and a warm atmosphere, you have to try The Garrison. βWe were absolutely delighted and we'll definitely be back soon! Thanks again ! Charlieβ
βBest chip shop in the whole of Derbyshire, but went today, and the chips were nothing like what are normally. Don't mind the long wait to get perfect chips, don't know what happened today. Hope it's just a one offβ
βReally great service, so cute inside and the food was perfect i wish i found this place sooner! Arancini and cannolis were perfect β

βFabulous pizza and interesting selection. Enjoyed watching the pizzas being made in the window reflection. Usually we have pizza with wine but water was fine. I can see them.having a bigger place one day. Lovely arancini too.β
βI went there for Sunday lunch with my family. Iβll cut to the chase - book it and go, if thereβs actually any space left. The value is unbelievable for the quality of food. This would cost at least double in London and at least 50% more in a neighbouring city. What comes out of that small kitchen is impressive. A deft touch, precise cooking and extremely well judged seasoning. Support this restaurant. If you live in Newark then you have to go. If you live within an hours drive you should absolutely go. If youβre driving up the A1, you need to pop in. Iβve been eating all over the world this year (and previous ones), and this gem was on my doorstep all along.β
βSuper friendly staff. Excellent value. Great food. When in Derbyshire we always make an extra special effort to visit and have the great value 'All Day Breakfast'.β
βWe had such a lovely time at PlayTown Sheffield! Itβs such a well thought out space with 8 themed areas perfect for little imaginations. My two absolutely loved dressing up and exploring all the different zones from the mini supermarket to the vets and the shops. We also went during their egg hunt and it was such a fun bonus activity! The staff were friendly, the space was clean and well-organised, and I really liked that everything is reset between sessions so it feels fresh every time. The outdoor play area was a great extra touch, and having a little coffee spot for grown-ups is always appreciated! Definitely recommend for anyone with young children looking for something fun and different to do in Sheffield.β
βWhat a lovely little cafΓ© so glad I stumbled upon this place. Lots of home made food and the scones were amazing had to take one home for later. The staff are super friendly and so attentive also itβs very affordable a great option for someone on a budget wanting a tasty meal, this place is also perfect for someone wanting food on the go.β
βWow. They just get better and better. Tried a new one tonight, Chicken Lahori Masala. Packed with chicken that melts in the mouth, followed up by a sauce that has a bit of a kick, but not overpowering. Then the sweetness of the caramelised onions and condensed milk comes through. Definitely a new favourite of mine. Kids had their usual favourite of chicken korma. Again, packed with tender chicken and creamy sauce. Absolutely the best takeaway around.β
βLove love love this local place, collections is always easy via app or telephone. Pizza is the best I've ever had and it's become a weekend take away dinner now :)β
βLovely little real ale 'homemade' gem of a pub.. Apparently built and owned by the guy who runs it - and his dedication shows in bundles. There's a popular quiz night, very well kept beers, a cosy quirky decor and it's dog friendly.. It's not very big though so it can be a bit of a squeeze when it's busy. A couple of small steps and quite a tight doorway entrance, but possible to get a wheelchair in with some assistance + it's not open every day so check the times before setting off. You won't be disappointed!β

βWe love popping into the magic sunflower, so when planning our wedding we knew we would love them to make our cake. The did a wonderful job, it was beautiful and very yummy. Both flavours (chocolate fudge and biscoff) were a big hit with the guests. They were really helpful adjusting the delivery time in line with our venue. Thank you for being a part of a magical day.β
βGreat roaster. The variety and the quality of coffee is legit, prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is cozy. The barista (Terrance) was informative and supportive in helping you choose what coffee suits your taste best.β
βThis is by far the best independent deli in Sheffield. The stock is wonderfully and thoughtfully thought out. I had a ciabatta sandwich and just asked the gentleman behind their kiosk to put in what he thought would work and boy did it! Also the espresso was perfect. Itβs obviously run by someone who is passionate about Italy and it shows in the products and the passion which they are enthusiastically served. Sheffield is lucky to have La Coppola.β
βA very cute little plant based coffee shop. Didn't try a cake but they look amazing. Very friendly staff, and most importantly dog friendly! Will definitely be popping back.β

βThe sandwich was fantastic. It was an Eggy sandwich topped with avocado and delicious sauces. Definitely my favourite sandwich in Sheffield. The cafe is really cozy, making it a perfect spot to relax. Give it a try if you want to treat yourself at a reasonable price.β
βBeautiful restaurant with lovely owner and amazing Pizzas!!!!! We had the special stake pizza, goats cheese pizza and had some drinks! The price was great and we also had some lovely gelatos that were great quantity :) The restaurant was full but they called us for when the space was empty and it was great :)!! Highly recommend it :)!β
βAbsolutely amazing restaurant, especially for those gluten free. Itβs not often you visit somewhere where pretty much the whole menu is inclusive to those GF and coeliac. Staff were incredible knowledgable, helpful with choices and the food was delicious. Already planning my next trip back!β
βWhat an amazing lunch with the boys today. We've had pretty much everything from appetiser to main with the buffet menu. Everything was delicious and freshly made! Service was very attentive and professional, with particular attention to suggestions from the waiters. Definitely recommended!!β
βIf you like Italian food, then you don't need to look any further than here. We booked a very early evening time slot on a saturday evening for 5.00pm. Thinking we would get there before the crowds. How wrong can you be? The car park was almost full. This is no more a hidden gem. It's shining in the spotlight and so pleased to see them doing so well. This is one of those very rare restaurants, where if you can't choose what to order you could just leave up to the chef to decide for you. The food is all so fresh and absolutely delicious. Even though they were busy, the service was spot on and friendly. Staff are totally on the ball and constantly checking on every table. If you are going to go,make sure you book!β
